You need to play those "hold R1 for 30 seconds for a platinum" games to get high up in the leaderboards. Actually, I'm willing to bet a lot of people don't do it to get a high position on the leadersboards, but to stay up there. Sony needs to start enforcing their own rules a bit better. I feel these publishers are breaking rules that are already in place. For example region stacking. I feel the developers of these games are abusing the rules and implementing the slightest change in their games just so they can qualify for a seperate game (and therefor seperate trophy list and plat for them to sell) in AS, JP, NA and EU region. They must know exactly what is needed for each region. And it must be tiny because non of the games are actually different. So it seems most developers will try to avoid different region releases, these developers seem to add unnecessary stuff to force a new region. Also, some developers are creating new companies just to be able to publish even more "hold button for platinum" games. Webnetics (The Sheep P, etc) got caught in a lie when asked if Klovako is them too. Klovako is making those Snow/Drift Journey stacks. Webnetics said no and even blamed Klovako for stealing assets/ideas from them. However the Slovakian business register shows that both companies are owned by the same people.
