Parker There are a lot of people that don't like DLC because they feel that the developers should include the full game at launch (despite some DLC being quite extensive) By releasing it as a stand alone people might not see it the same way (just a theory) Another theory is Ubisoft might be tracking this to see if sales are higher, lower or the same because that might decide how they do DLC in the future. Think about it, if you traded in AC4 after you beat it (which a lot of people do) why would you buy the DLC you would have no way of playing it. But by doing it as a stand alone now it doesn't matter if you own the disc or not you can still buy it and Ubisoft makes more money. Half right beacuse you are right, that they do this for more money. and you are wrong beacuse they do this also for pepole like me who are not sure if ACIV BF is worth buying and time. After playing this dlc i know that i want to play this game. But even i like this dlc and i think i will like ACIVBF, i still hate dlc. remember Prince of Persia 2008, and dlc? It was CUT OFF from game (and Ubisoft started this kind of this shit), Assassin Creed have CUT OFF some gameplay. Mass Effect From Ashes - which was 30-40 minutes. So yeah i still hate dlc.
