Popular Post olliebear66t
What would you say is the best ps plus game you've played that you would have never have played otherwise had it not been a part of plus? For me it's definitely Furi, one of my favourite games of all time with a close second being Transistor. I remember a lot of great early PS4 idies being a thing. Contrast by compulsion games is another example.

Deceptrox
Spelunky without a doubt. My favorite game ever along with MGS3. The latter is more for story, the former more for gameplay.
chiino82
Nothing off the top of my head atm, but thanks for name dropping "contrast". Not heard of it, but will look into it!
KingGuy420
I have two Ratchet and Clank All 4 One - NEVER would've tried that series, but now I love it. Played almost all of them multiple times since. Dungeon Defenders - This is one of my Top 5 series of all time and I never would've gave it a chance if not for plus. I've sunk literal thousands of hours into the series and I still absolutely love it.
Pirelli913
Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3) - I was never a big Batman (or DC) fan but fully grew to respect him after playing it. Sleeping Dogs (PS3) - It was a "sleeper" hit. Trine 2 (PS3) - The bright color palette of the visuals was incredible, plus it had fun puzzle mechanics.

TC_217
What a cool topic. I first played Overcooked, Just Cause, Borderlands and Darksiders via ps plus, and now I'm a fan of all those series. On the lesser known side, I enjoyed Rocketbirds 2 so much that I bought the first one. King Oddball was fun too. One of these days I'll play it again on the ps3 version. If I had to name the top one it would probably be Overcooked. Awesome co-op game Edited August 31, 2022 by TC_217
Popular Post Phlegeth
Hitman, I'm not much on stealth. I've never played any of the others. But, watched a few Let's Plays and it peaked my interest. And it was really fun. Still not much on the stealth approach though Spoiler
Godo Fwar
Rime. Had way more fun with it than I expected.
dmsleight
Hmm, Haven't played many games yet. I'll go with Detroit, becoming human, or Until Dawn. I'm looking forward to trying out my first Yakuza (LAD) game and the Last Guardian, which I always thought of trying on PS3.
Popular Post Kefka1986
For me, it was Remnant: From the Ashes. I remember there was this promotion with Sony giving us avatars for the psn if we managed to get a certain number of trophies playing the psplus games for that month. I already had done almost all the trophies of FFVII remake (the other game for that month) so I started playing Remmant with the idea of earning two or three trophies and be done with it. But... I absolutely loved the game, it amazed me, I even buy the dlcs and played a lot more after finishing it and grabbing my platinum!! The story was cool, the multiplayer was SO MUCH FUN!!!! And the bosses!!! and the trophies were actually fun to earn!!!! what a great game...

JourneySilvers
I don't play many of the plus games just because my personal backlog is so long, so I'm sure theres some masterpieces I've missed. But from what I have played, What Remains of Edith Finch and Concrete Genie are good games.
DrBloodmoney
Didn’t play it for ages after adding it from PS+, then when I finally did, it became one of my favourite games I’ve ever played.

It's one of those games where you can recognize the quality and feel fulfilled by the experience, but personally I don't know that I'd describe it as "fun" because I was legitimately crying by the end of it (the ending hit me quite hard). But it was a great game!
GraniteSnake
I’m really happy I got to experience these four games through PS Plus - don’t think I’d have ever went out of my way to buy any of them. Steins;Gate is my personal favourite! Bugsnax SOMA Steins;Gate What Remains of Edith Finch
Whimsicaltwigs
Currently playing Tearaway Unfolded and it's one of the most creative games I have ever played. Really cool to see other's replies; some have me curious!

This except I waited a while and ended up getting Yakuza 0 on sale before playing Kiwami. Pre-ordered the 3-5 collection, got 6 and judgement then pre ordered the day edition of 7 pretty much right after playing 0. Have only gotten through 0-4 and judgement but I know I'll play them all eventually. All from keeping my eye on the fact that i have Yakuza Kiwami and was convinced to play 0 first. Of course now Yakuza 7 comes to PS Plus...guess I can keep my day one edition sealed. Edited August 31, 2022 by Grotz99
Datboy1991
Detroit: Become Human, which led to me discovering that I also had Heavy Rain in my library courtesy of Plus.
Suicide_Tortuga
Probably Super Time Force Ultra or Hotline Miami. Indie masterpieces right there.
Popular Post LastMinuteSavior
No doubt about it: But Yakuza Kiwami, Super Time Force Ultra and Valiant Hearts: The Great War were also great finds.
Popular Post StraightVege
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth handily earns that distinction. It wasn't a completely unfamiliar title to me, since I used to watch YouTubers like bisnap and Northernlion play the PC original, but I never considered trying it myself until it hit Plus in November of 2014. As it turned out, I was basically a natural at it, and got totally hooked after just a single run. I don't think the game is nearly as fun anymore after all the updates, but it's still my favorite roguelite ever. Some others which deserve a mention are Downwell, Furi, and Velocity 2X. Plus used to be so worthwhile for me back then, but now I'm lucky if I get a few interesting games out of it per year. InsomniWrench
Cool topic. I guess Detroit: Become Human is the closest for me but I think I would've played it eventually. I was interested in it when it came out but for some reason I'd still never gotten it years later. I loved Beyond: Two Souls so shouldn't have been surprised I loved this too. I've had Plus for 2 years now and haven't really played that many games from it. I have a few in my backlog I plan on playing eventually though. I forgot to redeem the Plus games the month Tiny Tinas was on and I probably would have played that but doubt I'd buy it for myself :/
