(Rant)Reaching level 10 is such a grind

I’ve been on the touring discipline for about 6 hours and I’m rank 9 but with only 600,000xp. I win every race with 18% bonus. Any tips as to which event I should grind for in each discipline? I haven’t tried but which settings are doable on very hard and still win?

The patience and willingness to put in effort is slowly dying.... 6 hours is nothing

Oh you gonna hate my next take then. Racing games in single player is so boring. Basically every race ends the same. Just dodge the ai, make sure you don’t take too much damage, get first and repeat. At least the online races were fun, there is some variety. I just don’t see why they made solo trophies grindy when the online was already a hell of a grind

All grinds get boring, if they are long enough?

 

You think doing pikes bassin 1000 times is fun?

Don't know the exact number, but i know i spent an ungodly amount of hours, grinding that hideout, going to max level in multiplayer....

To maximise results and do a less number of races it's better follow this path:

1) Reach lev.3 in all categories;

2) Play (and win) the GRID Grand Slam from the "Legends Series" menu;

3) Reach lev.6 in all categories;

4) Play (and win) the GRID Masters Trophy;

5) Reach lev.8 in all categories;

6) Play (and win) the GRID Legends Series;

if you need more points to reach level 10 don't worry, 'cause you need to win twice last championship in every category.

Sorry to break it to you but it doesn't get any better. GRID Autosport is the longest and grindiest Plat I have ever gone for in my 13 years of trophy hunting. Good luck to you.

Yeah that sounds bad. My worst grind I can remember was from WRC6 I think. Had to do 1000 events but had to grind the same shortest event nearly 800 times. Took weeks for me to do. Grinds are just a poor way to keep you playing even well beyond what the game offers. This is the only GRID game I gave up trying even though it’s the last trophy.
