Not a huge racing fan but at a quick glance Hot Wheels looks like exactly the kind of arcade racer I enjoy and one that isn’t too frustrating or overstays it’s welcome. And I’ve been wanting to play Superhot since it came out - it looks very unique! It sorta reminds me of Ghostrunner in how it could be described as a puzzle game disguised as another genre entirely (FPS in this case). Decent month in my book. ? EDIT: I forgot to say one thing though… Sony always seems to miss the mark come October when at least one or more horror/Halloween themed games would be a perfect draw for PS+. It’s a shame. Anyway, I love racing games so I’m getting Hot Wheels and I’ll probably check out Injustice 2 but I’m not into the DC universe. Hot Wheels and Superhot look somewhat interesting though, not exactly the genres I commonly play but I will still get them and play them eventually. I know that Sony probably has deals made with developers and PS+ monthly lineups planned ages in advance, but it doesn’t seem like it would be that difficult to plan one or two festive releases for Halloween every year that would get people hyped and would help promote the service. They’re probably just too lazy. I suppose with the PS Extra/Premium catalogs now that this is all a moot point now, but still. Feels like premium/extra members are getting kinda fucked, which I think is not something you should be doing to your "premium" customers. The platinum was originally estimated to 40 hours when the Racing Seasons occurred. But since no more Racing Seasons were planned after Jurassic World over this past summer, the platinum would now take about 150+ hours, giving that you must now boost in private sessions to obtain your coins and continue selling/scrapping duplicate cars for your coins and gears. The estimated time can otherwise be shorter or longer, depending on how quickly you farm your coins and gears. To anyone getting the game and thinking on going for the platinum, good luck on the long grinding. The only difficult part will be getting the Unleashed goals in the time attack modes in the City Rumble. Other than that, the majority of the trophies are easy to get (plus the 3 DLC expansion packs are a cakewalk, even though they are expensive.
