For new players, how long will Decked Out now take?

So, assuming that someone has just started and has no legacy coins, can earn 60 coins per week, while the prices of everything have increased drastically (everything is 2-3 times as expensive in comparison to OW1), as an example, voice lines now cost 100 coins instead of 25 (and if you want to get a legendary, have fun, it's 1.9k now). Free battle pass has 15 items in it, not all being character items (such as avatars).

 

With that in mind:

- roughly how long should it now take to get that trophy from zero?

- can we expect that trophy to become ultra rare soon-ish?

If you got the cheapest things at 100 coins, it would basically take around 9 months or so just from buying stuff with your free coins. At least that is the estimation I got just now.

Honestly this trophy has just become paywalled to any new player who doesn’t want to grind. You get a few bits and pieces from the free battle pass but not all of it is character cosmetics and I think it’s been confirmed free plays can earn a maximum of 540 OW coins per season (2 months).

 

I don’t think the trophy will be becoming ultra rare too soon. OW1 was really big during it’s peak and most of those older players will have the trophy or not be far off getting it. It really just depends how many new players OW2 attracts
