Tbh it's pointless talking about it anymore, the damage is well and truly done. I been saying the PS3 leaderboard is where it's at but that is just f***ed now with all the CFW users and nothing been done about it, even reports seemingly getting ignored. Just look at the person that's been at the top past week with 4272 hacked games that don't have a single timestamp lol. Something needs to change because it's all just gone to sh*t.

Pressexers. It makes you know what the games are and it sounds like a super hero squad, with an X as their logo even.

And trophy hunting/whoring is the definition of p2w imo. As in, you pay more and/or have more free time, you win. The only way this could not be p2w is if difficulty was the only thing taken into consideration, not the amount of trophies or plats.

And since we can't really objectively measure difficulty...

The next best thing to that is rarity... But we will have the other never ending discussion of rarity is not equal to difficulty because there is ezpz URs, just grindy URs that just rewards people with excessive free time and blah blah blah.... But well, it's better than the actual thing...

Here's a list of reasons why rarity is not equal to difficulty:

1. There are EZPZ URs

2. I'm bad at games and can't admit that a game which isn't actually difficult, hence its plat % being high, is really just hard for me in particular

3. There are just grindy URs that simply reward people with excessive free time

Hacking should just be allowed on the leaderboard at this point. Change the meta from whoever can spend the most money on garbageware to whoever is best at avoiding Sony's banhammer. If people pirate this garbageware/hack the trophies without playing, instead of buying it, they'll stop making money on them so they'll stop making them.

Ta-da, the PSN store will get cleaned up, while maintaining the status quo. Actual game players will continue sliding down the leaderboard and the legitness of the top of the leaderboard will still be questionable at best.

It sounds more like pre-sexers, which I guess you could use as a derogatory term for the people who "play" these.

Nah that sounds like they're just about to get some so they'll pop in one of these games and earn a plat real quick. We don't want to glamorize it that way lol.

Wait until you find out that lots of these games are purchased just once on a share account and they're passed around to dozens of people for free.
