Popular Post be_minor
Welp, I finally finished Bugsnax. I had a great time capturing the little beasts overall; using a mixture of the environment and contraptions to finally catch even the most elusive snak was surprisingly fun. I’ve also made a bit of progress in Dysmantle, but this one might take me until the end of February to complete. I have a nasty habit of breaking down everything I can before exploring, so I have a decent amount of resources but little story progression. I’m still hopeful I’ll complete it before the end of the challenge though. Popular Post KillerUni12
Update 4: Wrapped up God of War. I’m really kicking myself for waiting so long to play this one, it was amazing! I usually refuse to buy new games until the price drops, but I might treat myself and pick up Ragnarok soon. 6 of 11 games completed! 1. Hitman 2: Silent Assassin (PS3), 100% 2. Hitman: Contracts (PS3), 11% 3 (Swap 1) Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia (PS4), 52% -> 100%. Enjoyed the no alert playthrough a lot actually, the controls felt a lot less clunky the second time through. 4. God of War (PS4), 10% -> 100%. Wow. I loved this game. I thought it was incredibly well done all around and the trophy list was just difficult enough. I liked how much foreshadowing there was in the story and how they used knowledge from the original games to build tension. One of the best games I’ve played in a while! 5. Outlast (PS4), 18% -> 42%, I finished the collectibles playthrough, all that’s left is the insane run (fingers crossed this will only take a few attempts!) and the DLC - which I hear is more scary than the base game… we’ll see how that goes, I’ve gotten a lot more timid since I began living alone. 6. Grim Fandango Remastered (PS4), 100% 7. Claire (PS4), 100% 8. Maquette (PS5), 100% 9. Uncharted: Drake's Deception (PS4), 17%, Potential swap candidate, I’ve made very little progress and I’m running low on time. 10. Super Stardust HD (PS3), 30%, Could be a swap candidate as well. This game was harder than anticipated! 11. Hitman (PS4), 61% -> 68%, I’ve almost finished up all of the misc/opportunities trophies. Then I’ll just need to grind out level 20 on a few more DLC maps. I didn’t buy the Expansion Pass for Hitman 2 before it became unavailable on the 26th. Kinda bummed I’ll miss out as I’ve really enjoyed this title. But also didn’t want to pay $40 (missed the sales) for a few additional maps.
Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
Alright, time for the final update. Finished the Ascent and the new Grid Legends DLC that was released a few days ago. I'm going to rank my games from most enjoyment to least. God of War Ragnarök The best game I've played for the challenge by a landslide, even the second time and playing the PS4 version of it. There's not much that isn't great about the game. 10/10 It's also one of the few games where getting all the collectibles isn't a chore, I think the game has a good amount of them. I usually don't mind collecting stuff, since that's a thing you can just do a bit here and there if it's way too much, but still, no one really loves a walking sim after you've completed the game just for the completion. Most annoying in GoW are the Muspelheim challenges, they went ahead and took all the fun from the first game out of them and just added the empty shell back. One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 Simple but fun and I can only recommend it. Pirate Warriors 3 and it's insane grind to get all characters to max level is what got me into watching the anime. Still doing it while doing dumb grinds that don't require much attention. There's a short one in Pirate Warriors 4 as well. Personally I don't think it's a problem that I spoiler myself on events still to come in the anime for me, the games also skip a lot of stuff since they can't include everything. Biomutant Good game but nothing special imo. At least it wasn't buggy like most of the games that are still to follow. It's nice of them to add so many things that probably came from different devs, but I would have like a more fleshed out experience of fewer features. The open world can feel somewhat empty from time to time, but the combat is fine, and since that`s one of the biggest parts of the game, that's also a big plus. If you`ve got time you should play it, but I wouldn`t change plans just to play Biomutant. Cyberpunk 2077 Good game that should have been a great game. It's still a buggy mess underneath all the patches it received. I don't mind a bug or gltich here and there, they can lead to fun moments in a game, but if it´s impeding my gameplay every other minute, that get's annoying really fast. Playing it reminded me of Mad Max with it's glitched location counter. Checking after every single location if the counter is correct or if you have to reload an earlier save. Thankfully Cyberpunk does not have trophy glitches on top of everything that's in the game. Maybe the next game in the franchise is going to be better, we'll see. Grid Legends The story mode is nice, has the same problems that most other sport games with a story have but that's fine. The grind starts with career mode and it's events. There's no real sense of progression after Semi-Pro is completed. The Pro career has the most events out of all and you have to finish them all to unlock the Gauntlet, the final series of events for the game. Tiny Tina Wonderlands It's boring... especially the DLC shit. Playing the same level four times just with a small change for the boss fight at the end... great fun. Wouldn`t recommend at all. I should stop supporting Gearbox, they're going downhill fast. The Ascent I can't recommend that game in coop, it's been a pain being the second player. The DLC made it even worse, there`s a trophy for killing the final boss of the DLC, so far so good. But it's whoever scores the last hit that get's the trophy. So I had to play the whole game again since you can't start the DLC before you've completed the final story. "Thankfully" it`s one of those coop games where story progress is only saved in the hosts game, and only your character is saved for yourself. Not sure yet if I'm joining the spring challenge, guess time will tell. Have fun completing your games guys
Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hi everyone, Here’s my update for this week. I got the platinum for Ratchet & Clank. What a fun game! I really enjoyed it and the platinum was easy to get. I started up God of War Ragnarok again. First time I couldn’t get into it, but now I’m really enjoying it! Hoping to platinum it before the challenge ends. Think that will be my last game for this challenge. 1. Police Simulator: Patrol Officers - 100% 2. Yakuza: Like A Dragon - 100% 3. Sonic Frontiers - 100% 4. Astro's Playroom - 100% 5. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart- 0% --> 45% —> 100% 6. Popular Post DizzyDavidson
Update 8: Farming Simulator 16 (Vita) - 73% => 100% Skylanders Superchargers (PS4) - 100% F1 22 (PS4) - 100% Biomutant (PS4) - 100% Tales of Symphonia (PS3) - 39% => 44% Well, well, well... I finished up Farming Simulator 16. It was fun, didn't even notice the time pass. I kind of used it as wind-down game after work, just 30 min here and there. In the end all the grindy trophies sort of lined up to be popped around the same time. Anyway, I'm ready to go back to playing it on a console, the next entry that is, whenever that will be. As for Tales of Symphonia, I wrapped up everything I could in my first playgthrough and I have already started NG+. I'm following multiple guides pretty much to the T in order to get the outcome in the game I want to. I don't expect trophies to pop again any time soon. I'm a bit ahead of schedule so I miiiiight be able to finish this game up before the event is over. We'll see. Game on folks!
Popular Post iXanon
Update #8 No platinum to report this time around, but some good solid progress has been made.. It's going to be touch and go whether or not I manage to complete the list, but if not I'll at least be proud of what I've managed to accomplish in one of these events for once ? The majority of my time was spent with Heavy Rain (PS3), finishing my first playthrough and starting to go back through for a second time and selecting the alternative options. It'll take a bit more tidying once that's done in order to see all of the endings, but I'm hopeful that they at least won't require full playthroughs.. I've also continued to play Overcooked 2 (PS4) with my OH, we've already three-starred the campaign and have just started working toward unlocking and three-starring the hidden levels that we missed before starting on the DLC. I was also slightly disappointed to learn that Overcooked! All You Can Eat (PS5) is not a third game, but instead is a 'complete package' of the first two games and their DLCs. I may decide not to bother with that.. Last.. and least (progress wise) - I've made a start on Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (PS4). I did decide to restart it from the very beginning because I couldn't remember much of what I'd previously played, and I'm now at the furthest point I've been.. Ubisoft added a couple of new things from the first two games, and I'm not yet fully convinced they're for the better - but it is what it is. It's certainly more of a challenge to achieve 100% sync, having to complete missions with a second objective in order to do so. I've heard that there's a couple of missions that are a nightmare to do with this in mind, so I (don't) look forward to those! Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (PS4) - 25% > 29% BirdCakes (PS4) - NEW > 28% > 65% > 74% > 100% Driver: San Francisco (PS3) - 32% > 34% > 51% > 67% > 100% Heavy Rain (PS3) - 11% > 21% > 65% Jak II (PS3) - 18% > 28% Overcooked 2 (PS4) - NEW > 15% > 44% Sephirothic Stories (PS4) - 5% > 100% Watch Dogs (PS4) - 29% > 38% > 41% > 87% Swaps used: 1/3 Duke Nukem Forever (PS3) > Overcooked 2 (PS4)

Popular Post reaperveteran86
Update 8 - Spyro 2: Ripto`s Rage 100% - Japanese Rail Sim: Journey to Kyoto 48% -> 100% - WILL: A Wonderful World (EU) 1% - LEGO The Incredibles 100% - Anno: Mutationem 100% - Assassin`s Creed: Brotherhood (PS4) 100% - Sword and Fairy 6 (EU) 100% - Sword and Fairy 7: Together Forever (PS4) 100% - Star Wars: Bounty Hunter 42% - Star Ocean: First Departure R 1% - Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights 21% -> 100% - Left Alive 5% I finished 2 more games from my list. Japanese Rail Sim: Journey to Kyoto: Luckily the 2 glitched trophies that I mentioned in my last update (and a 3. for getting all silver medals) unlocked on my way to getting all gold medals so I don`t had to replay that part of the game from a new save file. The game was fun. It is practicaly a FMV game where the gameplay part consists in playing the video in the right speed and to stop it at the right time to get a good ranking. Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights: A 2D souls like with a gorgeous artstyle and soundtrack. Your loli character dosen`t attack directly but she summoned different purified bosses and enemies for attacks which played a bit strange at the beginning but doesn`t took much time to getting used to.
Popular Post dark_moon689
5th Update: Finishing Yakuza 4 as fast I can because I wanted to make sure I have it done before I lose PS Extra access in a couple of weeks. Just one more playthrough and a few ultimate challenges to finish it. I am happy that the mahjong trophy didn't take long and I manage to get the required hand in just a dozen rounds or so. Playing as Akiyama is as fun as I remember from my first Yakuza game, Saejima is still the worst to play as, I really can't stand combat as him... the cop is fine and Kiryu as is great when I finally relearn how to properly do tiger drop. I am also swapping Shadow of Mordor, might give it another chance during the spring because I am just not getting into it at all.. try to go and do some dlc cause maybe that would spark me to keep playing but no dice, I'll be doing Harvest Moon: One World which is really bad from the little I played, I usually really enjoy these games and I can't believe this series got so lame but I figured I can rush through it and get it done so is no longer clogging my backlog. Then I have to sit down with Heavenly Bodies, and see if I have time to finish any of my other two games. - (PS4) Yakuza 3 Remastered 20% -> 32% -> 38% -> 40% -> Jan 18th - (PS4) Yakuza Like a Dragon 5% -> 8% -> 12% -> 21% -> - (PS4) Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - Game of the Year Edition 11% -> 25% -> (PS4) Harvest Moon: One World 5% - (PS4) Heavenly Bodies 15% -> - (PS4) Mass Effect 0% -> 39% -> 81% -> 100% Jan 2nd - (PS4) Evil Genius 24 % -> 41% -> 42% -> - (PS4) Yakuza 4 Remastered 0% -> 88% Games Completed: 2/7 Swaps: 2/3 Edited January 30, 2023 by dark_moon689 typo

I finally finished the main story of Yakuza 0 and now it's time to try to get the dreaded 100% completion list. Too bad I still haven't been able to beat Ogita ? I've only played Psychonauts once since the last update and the art style was giving me nausea. Nothing against the game's art style this just happens to me with certain games (most notably Bioshock for some reason).
Popular Post SwiftlyPaws
Update 5 Evil West PS5 - 0% 12% -> 36% Far Cry 4 - 0% 8% 40% -> 100% Lego The Hobbit - 0% -> Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart New Tales from the Borderlands PS5 - 0% -> Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 - 22% 31% The Quarry PS5 - 0% -> 40% 1/3 swaps used So I’ve missed a few weeks with updates but I did make a lot of gaming progress. - Far Cry 4 is done, I just love Far Cry and this might be the 4th time I’ve played this one, it’s my favourite. - Evil West story is done for the first round and I’ve made a start with the Evil playthrough. The problem with this game is that the story is blurry, most times I have no clue why I’m fighting weird creatures what looks nothing like vampires. I do like the combat but after an hour I’m done and want to play something else. - The Quarry also one playthrough done, I might be getting to old with a history of horror games because this one was boring. There was not one moment I couldn’t predict. I need to replay the last 2 chapters to keep everyone alive and then I can go kill everyone in my next playthrough. That’s it for me, almost February so good luck everyone in the last month!

Spent most of the weekend playing the new Stranger of Paradise DLC and VE felt too clunky to go back to after that. Soooo, one more week for VE. And I'm once again facing the reality that I won't finish my list for one of these challenges. Oh well, I'm still going to try and get as many done as I can. I bought the Underground DLC for Dysmantle so I'll probably start that up again this week. I was planning on doing a big, multi-season playthrough in F1 Manager and bring a bottom-ranked team to the top, but now I'll probably just pick Ferrari or Redbull and sim everything to try and get it all done quickly in one season. Popular Post YaManSmevz
Update #8 2/1/23 What up, what up! Seeing a lot of you fine folks are already closing in on your lists, big up to you all? I feel like the guy whistling while he makes breakfast after a uh, particularly pleasant evening, as I finally have some productivity to report! Red Dead Redemption is finished, and I loved damn near every minute of it. They brought the old west to life magnificently, from the look, the way the characters talk, the vibe, they just nailed it. Such a massive leap from Revolver, and while I'm still intimidated by RDR2, at this point it's only a matter of time before I take that plunge as well! Medal of Honor has also been slain, and while I didn't LOVE it, it was still a pretty good time. You know those YouTube shorts where someone rates stuff with memes? This was somewhere between "I mean it's alright" and "WOOOOO!!!" because it looks good, has some memorable sections, and the Tier 1 playthrough was a fun challenge, but the story was generic as shit and oh how I hate when games have you shoot with R1 instead of R2! I think that's partly why I'm dragging my feet with Dead Space, it just irks me! Altered Beast was a surprisingly fun blast from the past, I just need to play a game online and that'll be that on that. Dynasty Warriors 7 has been the breath of fresh dumb fun air I've been needing, and I'm genuinely looking forward to the grind. This is going to be an Enslaved Space Warriors week, and I'm hoping I can do some real damage. With the PS3 Rockstar titans toppled, the rest of the list is starting to feel manageable! I blabbed on for a bit longer than I meant to, sorry about that! Keep putting that work in y'all, everybody is killin it like always! Thanks for reading and thanks for posting?? 1. Popular Post StilRh
Hey my loves. Still on special leave from work, at times it's been stressful and I've not been able to sit down and game or relax. However, at times I've been able to sink some quality time into a games as I do every year on my birthday. This week I focused on completing the campaign of Dead Space as someone who loved the OG version on the xbox, it was a joy to see a largely faithful remake with some nice QoL improvements. I've worked on a little bit of Void Terrarium++ and Hades (feel like I'm very close to the platinum, just 16 heat run and then some grinding). I've played a bit of Minecraft with my family as they are wanting to play it - figured I'd try and steer this into scooping up a few trophies. This week I hope to platinum Dead Space and Hades. If not I'll be dipping into my other listed games (I'd like to get through Muv-Luv: Alternate if there's a night I can't sleep). I absolutely plan to buy Hogwarts when it comes out so this may be the best week to drill some games. Have a good one all. Popular Post gruffiiti
Wow... its been more than a month since I last updated. January started out rather crazy for me but I did manage to get a few games done just not the original ones I had planned so I will be making a few swaps. Hoa *Replacing Sound Shapes Played this on New Years Day as I was looking for something relaxing to play for a few hours. Its a cute and pretty chill platformer adventure and worth a playthrough if you are not looking for anything overly challenging. Fallout Shelter Completed a lot of the game last year and especially focused on it in December. Last few trophies took some time to complete though so the plat ended up coming in January. I originally started this one right years ago after finishing AdVenture Capitalist and was expecting it to be another free to play clicker but it was a lot more complicated than that to learn. Glad I came back to it though as it was fun once you get into it and an excellent time waster between trying to figure out which game to start next. Yoku's Island Express *Replacing Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy I have seen this game played a lot recently so had to pick this up and see for myself what it was all about as i kept hearing its gameplay was like pinball meets platforming meets adventure gaming. Sounds weird on paper but it really does work quite well with how it was implemented in the game. It was a lot of fun to play through and explore the island. Warhammer: Chaosbane *Replacing Stranded Deep This was a ps+ Extra game that I played recently with @Spacey_Dweeb. We had some good fun playing through the game crushing hordes of enemies in this dungeon crawler. The end game grind wasn't too bad as thankfully there was a way to cheese the multiple playthroughs as I feel with 25 hours invested it was the perfect length. Having to redo the game 4 or 5 more times probably would have put me off the game to begin with. South Park: The Fractured But Whole I was making progress in this game in December but decided to take a break from it while my kids were around more and staying up later during the Christmas holidays because well its South Park and I'll wait till they are a little older to introduce it to them. haha Death's Door Just started this one recently and it is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. There is plenty of areas to explore and secrets to uncover. Also has some fun combat with a good variety of enemies. Boss fights seem to be really well done too (based on the first boss) so can't wait to make more progress to see how the rest of them play out. Ended up really enjoying it after getting a few more upgrades, and the DLC was a fun addition as well that only took a couple of hours each, so managed to finish the 100% and get the plat last night after spending most of yesterday with the game - perfect way to spend a day off because of train strikes. Also started some Crash 3 which I've been enjoying a lot. Got a few relic runs out the way and noticing that this game is way easier than the first two, so I don't think I'll have much trouble with this one. When that's done I'll be getting to Crash 4 shortly after which definitely won't be easy, but I'm looking forward to it, I've wanted to play it for a while now. At the weekend me and @rjkclarke got quite a lot of progress done on RE: ORC, we managed to get professional difficulty out the way, which we did with no upgrades as the guide suggests (not sure if that's the right choice tbh, this was a bit annoying to do). We've made a start on the DLC because we need like 252k credits for all the upgrades and we're just over halfway there with that. Looks like we're going to be getting quite a lot of this game done over the next few days, looking forward to getting this one done pretty soon I hope. Lastly, started the multiplayer boosting for GTA IV, but I need to carry on with it as Saints Row grabbed my attention at the weekend. Did notice my save file from when I was 17 has 92.83% completion so that was a pretty nice surprise. What wasn't a nice surprise however was realising the only things I have left to do include bowling, darts, drinking etc with friends, killing 200 pigeons and stunt jumps... wooo. I had one stranger mission left for a trophy so managed to do that plus a misc trophy because why not. At least I have the speedrun to look forward to so I can actually experience the story again. I'll be carrying on with Crash 3 next, and getting some RE: ORC and GTA IV done as well. I'm close to 60% completion as well so that'll be nice to hit in the next week or so. That means the online trophies are out of the way for the free version and also no more waiting 5+ minutes just to get an online match. It should be much faster now as I can play offline, get EXP faster, and immediately get into a match. I'm a bit burnt out on it, but it will be better now. So I'll pull through. The next update will be the final one for this game. It will take roughly one more week to get the remaining 27 titles, give or take a few days. Most titles will be from leveling up characters to their max level, which is 10, but there are also a few optional ones such as playing 100 hours, earning 100k, buying things in the shop, and some others left that reduce the characters I need to level up. Notable trophies: An Alias for all Occasions: Obtained fifty titles within the game. Titles: 23/50 (previously: 10) Hardened Veteran: Won three hundred ranked matches. Ranked online battles won: 300/300 (previously: 120)

Popular Post rjkclarke
Update #5 Grand Theft Auto IV (PS3) 0% Puyo Puyo Champions (PS4) 0% > 100% Journey (PS4) 0% >100% Bioshock (PS4) 0% Titanfall 2 (PS4) 0%> 5%>8%> 100% Observation (PS4) 0% Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City (PS3) 0% >27% > 64% Nexomon (PS4) 0%>62%> 100% South Park: The Fractured But Whole (PS4) 0% The Shapeshifting Detective (PS4) 0% > 100% The Order 1886 (PS4) 0% Dark Nights with Poe and Munro (PS4) 0%> 100% WWE 2K22 (PS4) 0%> 44% >54%> 77% 6/13 Completed Okay..... So first off let me just address something real quick..... because in the last day or so.... After finishing the game I'm about to talk about I feel like the living personification of this emoji ....Yep... That one.... So this whole time I've been referring to Dark Nights with Poe and Munro, with an 'E' at the end of Munro.... an E that was never actually there.... Well done Robert, you silly arse.... Oh well.... On that note though, I have indeed finished Dark Nights with Poe and Munro, and I had an absolute blast with it, I'm on a bit of a kick with FMV titles at the moment for some reason, so I'm tempted to maybe sneak one more in at some point. I haven't really written anything about Dark Nights with Poe and Monroe yet, just a scant status update, but it's one I'm genuinely looking forward to writing about in a bit more detail, as there is some genuine film-making talent that went into making that game. So that'll be a fun one. I made a decent chunk of progress with WWE 2K22 as well, I have all of the MYRise trophies left to knock out, and then it's basically a small grind before the platinum will be poppable in a couple of weeks.... I'd be closer already, but you need about a months worth of days to finish off all the in-game challenges, but I should be on track to beat that by the end of the challenge here. I seem to be on quite the hot streak of really enjoying the games I've been playing lately.... Well, with one exception, but we'll get there shortly, I also knocked out Titanfall 2 earlier in the week, and I had so much fun playing it, it made me realise why I used to love FPS games so much all those years ago, and then genuinely question myself as to why I sort of just stopped playing them after a point. It's honestly a game that I'd recommend to everyone, and if my scatterbrained self can do Becomes the Master, then any of you can. The story smacked me in the feels a fair few times towards the end as well, so that was a nice little bonus that I absolutely was not expecting in the slightest. Okay so..... @Redblaziken8 and I, have been struggling through Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City.... I say struggling because I've heard her say "I F*@king hate this game...." about as many times as she's heard the exact same thing from me..... You know.... perfectly healthy enjoyable couples gaming time.... Until last night when we actually started to enjoy it a little bit more, to the point where we're both a little more excited to play it this evening.... Is this the worst Resident Evil game either of us have played? Yes, it most definitely is, and I've played Resident Evil: Survivor.... and no.... I'm not Vincent either (HAHA nerdy Resident Evil Reference... I'll erm hang my head in shame and get my coat). I don't want to speak for her, but I can say from my point of view that I've definitely been enjoying playing it quite a bit more since starting the DLC.... My goodness though, anyone that plays this and has seen Carlos Oliveira in this game..... Wow... does he both not look like Carlos... but also he looks like a lost member of awful 90's British pop band East 17.... So hopefully that'll either be finished by this weekend, or next weekend at the latest... . I guess I should add what I'm going to try and tackle going forward.... I'm going to FINALLY start the online trudge for GTAIV this weekend. Next week I'm going to try and knock out at least two games left on my list, I'm thinking knock out The Order 1886... and then Knock out Observation, as I've been wanting to play both of those for a very long time. Then try and weigh up how much time there really is left, and whether I need to bust out a swap or two.... I'd very much like to knock out at least ten of the games on my list.... So fingers crossed on that one. Sorry for the long old rambling post... Looks like I'm starting to slip back into how I used to post a bit more It's great seeing you all actually smashing through a lot of your lists, I'm always reading, even if someone might have stolen my rep points for the day by the time I see them. I'll catch you all in the next one! Edited February 3, 2023 by rjkclarke
Popular Post Bumperklever
Update #8 I more and more realize this is gonna become an impossible task, but alrighty, . We are just gonna continue and see how far I can get. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Very tiny progress, but I've beaten No russians (not neccecary, but its fine) and takedown on veteran difficulty. Takedown was to me a very annoying mission, but I pulled through it Dreadnought With this one I did a small session of elimination and got had the, win 10 matches without dying trophy. Need around 10 more for the 25 elimination wins. And of course this all slowly progresses towards other trophies. Because this game is 'just a grind'. This one is probably gonna be my next plat though. Driver: San Fransisco This is were I spend most of the time in. It's moreso grinding all dares and activities and doing some misc stuff. And while some took a bit, others are just auto-completes. There wasn't really any difficult thing about this game. I completed the story in the previous update, but my opinion from then still holds up now. Current progress Babylon's Fall (PS5): 14% -> 15% -> 37% -> 60% -> 100% Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (PS3): 14% -> 15% Driver: San Fransisco (PS3): 30% -> 67% -> 100% Far Cry 2 (PS3): 37% -> Dreadnought (PS4): 45% -> 68% -> 71% Front Mission: Evolved (PS3): 23% Medal Of Honor (PS3): 0% -> 67% -> 75% -> 97% -> 100% Medal Of Honor: Warfighter (PS3): 0% -> 15% -> 55% -> 100% Ratchet Deadlocked (PS3): 32% -> Conga master Go! Popular Post TheBusToYoker
Not an official update. I've been somewhat busy, and not had much time for trophy hunting. I'm not confident unless I make my swaps and have a serious uptick in hunting middle of this month I'll successfully complete my challenge. Oh well, it's the friends we made along the way that counts, isn't it? The good news though I should be getting the Frostpunk plat very soon. I'm also getting my checklist thread...err....in check. I've been very hesitant in actually putting anything i think of quality in my quality checklist thread. Oh the ironing. Also, what is even a checklist thread? A place where people write weather reports about games? So I've got my take on Wolfenstein II up if any wishes to read it. Hope everyone is doing well. Bye for now. Popular Post KimBongUn420
Update 5: #165 Mirror's Edge Catalyst Difficulty: 5/10 Grind: 6/10 Time to Plat: 45h This game ended up being a pleasant surprise for me. It is definitely a game that requires you to "git gud" in order to get the platinum, but it never feels difficult to the point of it being unfair or badly designed. Getting better at the game and mastering the controls also feels very rewarding, so by the end of the game you feel a sense of Pride and Accomplishment. (This is an EA game, after all ). From a technical perspective, the game holds up quite well. I didn't run into a single crash the whole time I played, and only had one time where I got stuck on some terrain and had to quit out. On PS5, it plays at 60fps which is a HUGE plus - after experiencing it in 60fps I doubt I could tolerate trying to play it at 30fps. The open world looks very good and the game feels a lot newer than it actually is, which is quite the compliment. In terms of game design, the story is fine but nothing to write home about. The open world, to me at least, fits fine within the context of the game and I didn't feel like it was shoved in there for the sake of making the game open-world. It does allow you to run around and practice mastering the running controls, which helps. There are various kinds of collectibles and while there's a pretty solid grind to get them all, it's not horrible. The dashes are challenging but really not that bad. There's only one that is genuinely quite hard, and you'll know which one it is when you get to it. Even then, I managed to 3-star it in about 20 minutes, and got all the dashes done in about 3 hours. My biggest criticism of the game is the combat controls. They are confusing at best and straight up bad at worst. There are limitations to what they could do because so many of the controller buttons are dedicated to running techniques, but the integration still could have been much better. Luckily, there are not very many combat sequences in the game, so it's not as bad of a negative as it could have been. The running controls, by contrast, are quite good. Finally, this game is almost always on sale for $10 or less and sometimes drops all the way down to $2. It's a no-brainer at either of those price points. 7.5/10 overall. Progress: 2/3 of the way through WRC campaign in WRC 9. Only trophies left here are the remainder of the story and the one multiplayer trophy. Multiplayer is completely, utterly dead for this game so I'll have to boost it. Maybe about 4 hours left total until the platinum I tried really hard to get back into God of War Ragnarok but I am utterly bored playing it. I'm about 15h in and am finding the game to be a large step down from the 2018 game, especially in terms of the story. It's a game that desperately wants to be a movie and there's too much filler and not enough action for me. I'm kicking it to a later challenge and swapping it out with Soul Hackers 2. Will probably swap The Witcher 3 because of time constraints, but I haven't found a replacement game for it yet. Swapped The Witcher 3 for Gotham Knights Plans for Next Week: finish WRC 9 work on Soul Hackers 2 work on Gotham Knights Happy hunting! List: GoW Ragnarok [PS5] - 8% -> Soul Hackers 2 [PS5] - 7% Atelier Sophie DX (Dec 12) Mirror's Edge Catalyst - 85% -> (Jan 25) The Witcher 3 [PS5] - 17% -> Gotham Knights - 1% Ruined King: A League of Legends Story (Jan 3) WRC 9 [PS5] - 82% -> 87% Games Completed: 3/6 Trophies: 195/295 (66.1%) Swaps: 3/3 Additional Games (not part of the challenge) Gran Turismo 7 [PS5] - 77% Assassin's Creed Unity - 69% Edited February 6, 2023 by KimBongUn420

The title grind wasn't fun, it was just spamming my skills and ignoring everything else to level up my characters as fast as possible. I'm glad it's over. It was much faster than I expected, didn't think I'd get it this soon. Notable trophies: An Alias for all Occasions: Obtained fifty titles within the game. Titles: 50/50 (previously: 23) Dissidia Final Fantasy NT: I transferred my progress from the free version to this one and will now get the online trophies. All the trophies from the Free Edition can be unlocked by doing one more of whatever the requirement is. So that's not hard and it's why the Free Edition should be done first. The misc ones are already out of the way, all that's left are the character-specific trophies, then it's time for the offline part that has the story of this game and more grinding afterwards. About Dissida Final Fantasy NT: Yes, that means I will remove it from my Spring Backlog Challenge 2023 list as it will be way above 50% by the time this event starts. I'll update my list later this month. Edited February 5, 2023 by viech54
