Full Platinum without cutscenes has taken 16 hours, GOW 2018 took me 14 hours 30!!! A optimal Platinum is 90 MINUTES longer than the first!! I actually think there is much less to do in this platinum, just this game is much more padded with story and slow pacing -- I'm slowly going through creating a Optimal route to the Platinum. Text and Video is provided, the video has commentary and all cutscenes are edited out to save video time and avoid massive spoilers. A LOT OF STUFF is being avoided in the walkthrough below, either because it isn't needed or that there is a more efficient moment later. Basically any areas that can be fully looted and completed for Platinum requirements during the story will be done so then, unless they are out the way and will be passed by later anyway for the clean-up! For those coming here in hopes of just discovering a optimal roadmap, you DO NOT NEED 100% for Platinum!! This rough info may help which i've put together using info on the net including the Powerpyx guide here https://www.powerpyx.com/god-of-war-ragnarok-trophy-guide-roadmap/ (I will clean this list up as I go along to better aid those in future who just want to know the bare minimal platinum requirements for whatever reason); -- No difficulty related trophies. -- Nothing is missable. -- Approximately 60-70% of the collectibles are required, more on this below. ----- All Ravens need collecting. ----- All Artefacts need collecting. ----- All Berserker Stones are required. ----- All Shields & Relics are required. ----- All Flowers are required. ----- All Hunts are required. ----- 30/35 Nornir Chests are required, so not all of them. Throughout the story up to post-game, I have deliberately avoided a few nornir chests to save time, perhaps 30 mins or so. Knowing that we can avoid 5 means we can save a lot of time if we carefully plan for which to avoid! ----- Approximately half of the 50 Favors are required give or take, still to confirm the exact number. ----- Only some Yggdrasil Rifts are required. ----- Only some Legendary Chests are required. ----- Only 2 Muspelheim Seed Halves need collecting. There are actually 4 chests containing these, though once you have the 2 halves, the other 2 chests contain materials! ----- No Lore is required EXCEPT for 4 Lost Pages. ----- No Buried Treasure is required. ----- No Draugr Nests are required. ----- No Hel Tears are required. ----- The Dews are not needed, they are just listed in the walkthrough below as they give a permanent stat increase. Raven 7/48 - Halfway up the next spiral staircase, you will see a ledge on the left where you can drop down. Kill the 1st set of enemies and then bounce your axe off the stone to hit this behind the mesh gate. Artefact 10/43 - Kvasir's Poems - Visions After Rest - At the top of the staircase is a ledge you can climb and this is on the left after climbing it. Hilt of Gram 2/14 - After the next enemy encounter, you will soon need to drop down near the exit and operate a wheel to help progress. Go through a nearby small door where you will find a small puzzle which you need to complete in order to access the legendary chest with this inside. Artefact 11/43 - Kvasir's Poems - Spirits Within Walls - After getting through the next door, you will encounter some nightmare enemies. This is in the room on the left. Shortcut grapple x 2 - These are in the next big open area, one on the left and another on the far right. Nornir Chest 4/30 - Horn of Blood Mead - This is on your right shortly after pushing the statue over and crossing the light bridge. Raven 8/48 - After the next enemy encounter and just before the next door, look left to see this in an archway of a tower ahead. Keep left on the upper path and you will soon reach this on a square ledge above the area where the enemy encounter took place. Nornir Chest 5/30 - Idunn Apple - Carry on with the story path and you should see this ahead of you, not long after the 2nd enemy encounter. Speak with Freyr – VANAHEIM - Freyr's Camp – Sharpshooter Stare - Accessory - If you failed to pick this up in the last chapter, you can now find it in the lost item chest. Continue to seek the source of Freya's binding curse Raven 10/48 - After leaving the cave, go left and you will find this perched on a branch above the swamp. Once you climb this, look right to find a legendary chest in a small poison area below. Stop the poison and then loot the chest to acquire this. Find a way to cross the broken bridge Nornir Chest 6/30 - Horn of Blood Mead - After crossing the bridge once you finish the puzzle, this is just down the slope on the right. This favour isn't required for platinum, but it provides a very simple source of XP as we are passing by each of the objectives for it. Go through the wreckage that you passed through earlier with Atreus and defeat the enemies you encounter. Now burn the brambles in the northeast corner of this encounter area to find this buried beneath them. Rune Read - Tyr's Right Bracer - On the wreckage beside the dig spot above, needed for the Guiding Light favour. – MIDGARD - The Oarsmen – Nornir Chest 7/30 - Idunn Apple - From the armour in the step above, crawl back through the wreckage, then burn through the brambles immediately on your left. Jump across the gap and you can find this down in the crypt ahead. You can access the 3rd seal for this during the steps below. Mystic Gateway - Near the nornir chest above. Favour - Sigrun's Curse - Automatically begins when you enter the crypt with the mystic gateway above. Raven 11/48 - Climb out through the hole behind the nornir chest mentioned a few steps above. Kill the enemies then climb the chain which leads to a upper ledge. Drop down on the other side to find a giant chain, then look east up on the cliff wall to where you should see this raven. For a better view, you can pull the giant chain in the step below first. Jewel of Yggdrasil 1/7 - From the raven above, pull the nearby giant chain to reveal a staircase. This is in the legendary chest at the bottom of the staircase, it also contains Whispering Slab x 30. Artefact 15/43 - Stolen Treasures - Ankh - Behind the staircase in the step above. Fjoturland Vault Key Half - Same room as the legendary chest above, near a gate and nornir chest seal. Artefact 16/43 - Kvasir's Poems - The Dead Do Not Ride - Climb out the hole behind the nornir chest again which will now lead to this. – MIDGARD - Lake of Nine – Breastplate of Guiding Light - Chest Armour - Slightly northeast Tyr's Temple is a golden helmet in the snow with a campfire burning inside it. This is buried inside the helmet. Rune Read - Tyr's Helmet - On the helmet beside the dig spot in the step above. This is needed to conplete the Guiding Light favour. Artefact 17/43 - Stolen Treasures - Janbiya - From the golden helmet in the step above, look southwest to see a doorway covered in icicles where you will find this. – MIDGARD - Raider Stronghold – Kol Raider Camp 1/4 - This is through the doorway slightly west from the artefact alcove above and south from the golden helmet. Favour - Animal Instincts - Starts automatically as soon as you clear the stronghold. Cyclone of Chaos - Light Runic Attack - Loot the legendary chest inside the stronghold. – MIDGARD - Lake of Nine – Artefact 18/43 - Stolen Treasures - Kila - At the edge of the ice, east from the golden helmet mentioned a few steps above is a small set of steps leading up to this. – MIDGARD - King's Grave – Inert Hilt of Skofnung - Story related. Continue tracking the Norns Mystic Gateway - You should pass by this naturally, it's just outside the alcove that Freya reveals for the story. Shortcut grapple - Near the gateway in the step above. – MIDGARD - Raider Hideout – Raven 12/48 - From the last step, go down back to the ice, then take a tight left past the steps leading to the artefact earlier and follow this path on the ice to the east running alongside the hill you just descended. Leave the sled at the end near the crypt entrance, then look at the wall to the south where you should see this. Kol Raider Camp 2/4 - Kill the enemies inside the crypt near the raven above. Nornir Chest 8/30 - Horn of Blood Mead - Inside the same crypt as above. Use the bomb dispenser in the same crypt to light the braziers. Tartarus Rage - Heavy Runic Attack - Inside the legendary chest in the northeast corner. – MIDGARD - Lake of Nine – Artefact 19/43 - Stolen Treasures - Maya - Beneath the large bridge connected to the east side of Tyr's Temple Jotunheim's Essence - This is buried in the southeast corner of the lake beside the spear, shortly after the artefact above. You will also acquire Whispering Slab x 30 from the same dig spot. Rune Read - Tyr's Spear - On the spear beside the dig spot in the step above. This should complete the optional favour Guiding Light. Boss - Visi Haglkorn - From the rune read in the step above, go southwest up the hill following the wall on the left and you will find this boss near the top. Beast Bone x 3, Bonded Leather x 10 & Jotunheim's Honour - The boss in the step above drops these. Raven 13/48 - Carry on around to the south side of the Tyr's Temple where you will find a small cave in the ice connected to the temple. This cave is north from the Raider Keep mentioned below. The raven is perched just inside. – MIDGARD - Raider Keep – Kol Raider Camp 3/4 - This is at the bottom of the mountain wall south from the large round central temple. Climb up into the left cave, squeeze through the wall gap and kill the enemies inside. Return to the wolves and continue tracking the Norns – MIDGARD - Derelict Outpost – Raven 14/48 - As soon as you enter the area after vaulting over the wooden beam, take a tight right and you will see a broken boat above you. This is perched inside the nearest piece of the wreckage. Mystic Gateway - At the end of the ground level part of the area. Sindri's Shop - Climb the chain near the gateway above to reach this. You should be able to upgrade your Amulet with the Jewel. Raven 15/48 - Carry on through the area and you will eventually reach a chain you can pull. This raven is sitting on top of the post that the 1st chain operates. Artefact 20/43 - Stolen Treasures - Lyre - This is beneath the 1st chain, you can drop down on the ledge across from the chain to reach this lower room. Ivaldi's Anvil - Heavy Runic Attack - In the legendary chest at the top of the area. The chest also contains Whispering Slab x 30. Fjoturlund Vault Key Half - At the top of the area, shortly after the legendary chest in the step above. Shortcut grapple - Follow the path after the vault key above to eventually reach this. – MIDGARD - The Lost Treasury – Mystic Gateway - Go back to towards the Lake of Nine, but keep right and eventually you will go down a slope leading to this. Nornir Chest 9/30 - Idunn Apple - Two of the brazier seals on above the shield, the 3rd is in the room behind it with the legendary chest. Legendary Chest - Folkvangr Whetsone x 1 & Sigil Punishment accessory - Solve the shield puzzle to find this in the room behind it. Lost Page 1/4 - Hilt of Ridill recipe - Unlock the vault door near the legendary chest using the 2 vault key halfs. Then smash through the floor from the ledge above to find this. Favour - The Lost Pages - Triggers once you pick up the page in the step above. Lore Markers - Love's End - This is easily seen inside the vault. Simply interacting with this will complete the Sigrun's Curse favour and reward you with a large sum of XP. – MIDGARD - Raider Fort – Kol Raider Camp 4/4 - This is northwest from the large round central temple. It's on a small piece of land with smoke coming from it. Boss - Oluf Nautson - Whispering Slab x 30 & Token of Elemental Evasion x 1 - This boss will spawn after defeating the raiders because this is the last camp. Crackle of Bilskirnir x 1 - The boss in the step above drops this.This is required to craft the Hilt of Ridill. – MIDGARD - Lake of Nine – Favour - Animal Instincts - Now you have cleared the 4 raider camps, this will complete upon returning to your wolves. This will trigger the trophy below. TROPHY 7/36 - Besties - Pet Speki and Svanna. Berserker Gravestone 1/10 - Directly north from the large round central temple, just before the tower where you found a artefact inside earlier. Boss - Fraekni the Zealous - Tempered Remnants x 2, Bonded Leather x 25, Shattered Rune x 25 & Berserker Waist Guard. Favour - Fit for a King - Triggers once you interact with the gravestone in the step above. Find the Norns at the Well of Urd – MIDGARD - Well of Urd – Raven 16/48 - At the top where Freya opens the secret entrance, you can see this on the edge of a nearby cliff to the east. Boss - Frost Phantom - Bonded Leather x 25, Dwarven Steel x 3, Shattered Rune x 25, Chaos Flame x 1, Honed Metal x 3 & Stonewood x 3. Jewel of Yggdrasil 2/7 - The boss above drops this. Leave the Norns Rond of Purification - Shield Attachment - Once you get back outside where Freya initially opened the secret entrance, drop down just before the zipline and bash through the wall to find this inside a legendary chest. Nornir Chest 10/30 - Horn of Blood Mead - This is at the bottom of the mountain, you likely spotted this when you began climbing for the story. RETURN TO SINDRI'S WHEN READY Nothing of interest. ASK THE DWARVES Favour - The Lost Lindwyrms - Talk to Ratatoskr before you enter the house to begin this. Lindwyrm Trap - Pick this up after acquiring the favour above. FORGING DESTINY Find a path to the surface – SVARTALFHEIM - Myrkr Tunnels Nornir Chest 11/30 - Idunn Apple - You will see this in front of you as you along the story route. It's shortly after operating the first water wheel which reveals a crawlspace. Shortcut grapple - The path will fork shortly after the nornir chest in the step above, take the right fork to reach this. Head to the forge with Brok – SVARTALFHEIM - The Forge – Nothing of interest. Destroy the Nightmare Haunt to release the lift Shortcut grapple - After destroying the nightmare haunt on the lift, you will find this nearby and will allow you to get back down quicker. Ride the lift up to the forge Raven 17/48 - Once you reach the bell-looking machine on the small dock, this is on a wall just to the left. Repair the switch Nothing of interest. Forge the weapon Draupnir Spear - Story related. Find a path down the mountain Yggdrasil Rift - When you receive the lesson about throwing the spear into vents to jump onto, this can be found on a ledge to the left if looking at the spear vent. Lost Lindwyrm 1/6 - Inside the yggdrasil rift in the step above. Dust of Realms x 5, Lindwyrm Scales x 2, Hacksilver x 1000, Hind of Attuned Elements & Gale Spark x 1 - Also inside the yggdrasil rift in the step above. On the initial platform is a chisel stone, interact with it to make some runes appear on the hammer statue ahead. Now examine the runes on the hammer to reveal a chest and you will find this inside. With this you can finish the Spirit of Rebellion favour, but we will wait for a more optimal time later. Muspelheim Seed Half 1/2 - When you reach the bomb dispenser, throw a bomb at the ore just before the dispenser to reveal a legendary chest with this inside. Go inside and take the left path to reach a beach. This is sitting on the left side of the beach. Jewel access - From the artefact, go up the nearby stairs and over the bridge to the coffin, you should see some brambles on the wall to the right. Burn these from this bridge as it will give you access to the next step below. – VANAHEIM - Noatun's Garden – Jewel of Yggdrasil 5/7 - Use the zipline from the previous step to reach this area. With the brambles gone, you can now finish the puzzle to enter the northern room here. Inside is a legendary chest containing this. Goddess Falls access - From the platforms at the top of this area, you should be able to see a chain caught in some brambles, free this and then climb it to reach a chisel stone. Interact with this and then read the rune to lower the gate ahead. – VANAHEIM - Goddess Falls – Raven 32/48 - Dock at the 1st beach on the right as you row south through the gate you recently lowered. This raven is flying high above the beach, it's easier to hit if you climb up to the top of the area first where the nornir chest in the step below is. Artefact 24/43 - Family Crests - Hylli's Crests - From the doorway you first entered the shrine and facing inwards, knock down the bridge to the top right and follow the path around the corner just after it. Freya's Belongings 2/3 - Follow the path upwards from the artefact to reach a area with revenants. Kill the enemies, then go over to the southeast archway and Freya should pick this up automatically. Brooch 1/2 - Go northwest after dropping in towards the tree in the distance with a bucket hanging from it. This item can be picked up beside the spirit behind it. Favour - In Plain Sight - From the step above, turn southwest and go towards the rift you can see and follow the path to the other side of the valley. Once you are at the top, you should be able to see a celestial altar to the west. You should also see a animal carcass beneath a tree nearby, examine this to begin this favour. Favour - In Plain Sight - From the animal carcass above, go northwest towards the celestial altar and you should find another carcass approximately halfway to the altar. Examine this to progress this favour. Boss - Soul Eater - This will spawn somewhere in the nearby vicinity around the large puddle nearby after examining the 2nd carcass. It will be dormant pretending to be a rock and you will need to attack it to begin the battle. Celestial Altar - Climb the nearby wall which will lead to this, and then interact with it to change it to night. Shortcut grapple - This is east of the celestial altar. Raven 37/48 - Turn left straight after exiting the tunnel, then look up slightly to see this perched on the side of the cliff. Artefact 28/43 - Kvasir's Poems - An Organisation: In The Future - From the blockade you pulled down, head south until you reach a cliff. Then follow this path west, over the valley and into a tunnel which eventually takes you to a gap you must climb over. This is in the corner just after climbing across the gap. – VANAHEIM - The Jungle – Mystic Gateway - Continue on from the artefact in the previous step and this is the first thing you pass once in this next area. Favour - Return of the River - Carry on through the jungle and this will trigger automatically after climbing the first wall. The path at this point through the jungle is linear. Crystal - Crystalline Shard x 2 - You will shortly drop down into an area with poison totems, this is beside the roots ahead. Crystal - Crystalline Shard x 2 - Use the lift you eventually reach and this is at the top. Stein 1/2 - At the top of the dam where the lift stops, detonate the wall behind the crates and squeeze through the gap. You will then see this at the end past the crank wheel. Favour - Casualties of War: The Stein - Picking up the stein above triggers this. Favour - Return of the River - Pull the nearby crank wheel to update this favour and release the water. Favour - What Lies Below - Now the water level has dropped, follow the path to the west to trigger this. Boss - Dreki x 2 - Kick and then drop down the chain nearby to find these. Dragon Tooth x 8 - The boss duo above drops these. Favour - What Lies Beneath - Completes after you beat the boss duo above. Favour - Return of the River - This will complete once you get back to the lift. Favour - Trail of the Dead - This will trigger once you go down the lift and reach the boat. Toy 1/2 - Get in the boat near the lift and then dock at the beach just opposite, this will then be to the right of the nornir chest. Yggdrasil's Dew of Luck - Get back in your boat and follow the wall on the right and you will find this just before the next dock. Toy 2/2 - Get back in your boat and to immediately right to see a small passage. Sail through here and depart from your boat at the first dock you reach. Then squeeze between the wall and this will be in the far right corner after killing the 2 ogres. Artefact 29/43 - Spirit Mementos - Child's Toy - Collecting both the toys will combine into this. Raven 38/48 - From the artefact above, you will see this perched on the southern wall. Stag of Summer 2/4 - Dvalinn - Pull down the nearby blockade, then grapple across the river and continue west to reach this. Shortcut chain - Continue along the path and this will shortly be on your right. Favour - Path of Destruction - Continue along this upper path and squeeze between the wall you reach. This will trigger once you reach the open area afterwards. Crystal - Crystalline Shard x 2 & Crystalline Fragment x 1 - Drop down the hole in the middle and this is at the bottom. Jewel of Yggdrasil 6/7 - This is in the nearby legendary chest. Favour - Path of Destruction - Outside the nearby gate should be 2 wolves. You need to try and lure at least 1 of them onto the circular lift at the base of the hole you just dropped down. Then raise the chain to feed it to the enemy above ready for later. Boss - The Corpse Eater - Go back to the celestial altar and grapple up the wall beside it. Now follow this path around keeping right and you will eventually climb up into this boss arena. You should see a spear vent straight ahead of you, use this to cross over the gap where you will find this. Mystic Gateway - Aurvangar Wetlands - Backtrack to the recent gateway and warp to this gateway which is to the south in the same realm. – SVARTALFHEIM - Aurvangar Wetlands – Favour - A Viking Funeral - Use the lift to the northwest to reach the Sverd Sands where you can finish this favour. TROPHY 22/36 - Funeral for a Friend - Attend the funeral. – SVARTALFHEIM - The Applecore – Mystic Gateway - You will pass this near the bottom of the lift. Only appears after the story and you can access it before discovering it if you get the Yggdrasil Seeds from Ratatoskr first. Artefact 34/43 - Kvasir's Poems - Sanguinity - Carry on along the main passage and climb the tall wall at the end using the spear vent. Then destroy the rock on the left with the spear and you will see this on the floor shortly after. Boss - Miklimunnr - Follow the path and you will eventually have to climb down a chain to the spot where this boss spawns. Artefact 35/43 - Things Left Behind - Durinn's Stone Statue - Go through the crawlspace after the boss above and open the door you reach. Now take the right path where you will shimmy along a narrow ledge and then can lift open a gate at the end. Drop down the ledge straight in front after lifting the gate to find this behind a sonic arrow barrier. Artefact 36/43 - Things Left Behind - Althjof's Statue - Climb back up the ledge, go right and grapple across the gap. Now drop down at the first spot on the right, then go forward to reach a small crawlspace across a small gap that has some ore blocking it (if you haven't already destroyed it). Go through this crawlspace, defeat the enemies in the area and then enter the door at the top. In this next room with the coffin and spear vent, go left to find this on the floor. Nornir Chest 26/30 - Horn of Blood Mead - Throw a spear into the spear vent near where the artefact was above, then jump across and turn right to find this. Lost Lindwyrm 6/6 - Loot the yggrdasil rift in the corner opposite the nornir chest in the step above. If you recall, we climbed down a chain and found an artefact and raven at the bottom. To get back there now, you will have to use a spear vent along the way followed by a zipline. On this small beach is a hidden gateway covered in thick brambles. Free it and then warp back to the Nidavellir gateway in this same realm. Alternatively, go back to the last gateway we passed and warp from there. – SVARTALFHEIM - Nidavellir – Favour - Spirit of Rebellion - Go into Durlin's house and report this favour back to him to finish it. Ratatoskr gives these to you after finishing the story and they unlock a few hidden mystic gateways throughout the realms. Look southeast from here and you will see the raven flying above. – ALFHEIM - The Barrens – Favour - Secret of the Sands - This triggers once you enter the area. Head east to the objective marker for this to find a cave. Descend this cave as it will lead to the next collectible and this favour needs completing for trophy purposes anyhow. – ALFHEIM - The Below – Nornir Chest 27/30 - Idunn Apple - Carry on through the area until you reach the first chain, but do not climb down this just yet Instead, turn around and open the gate behind and you can now access all 3 seals required for this nornir chest further below. Hit this seal first, then drop down and get the 2 nearer the nornir chest. Favour - Secret of the Sands - Follow the linear path through the area and this will finish once you exit and free the Hafgufa by destroying the hive core. – ALFHEIM - The Barrens – Raven 43/48 - From where you cut the strand and released the Hufgufa, go northwest towards the tower and you will see this perched on a dead tree to the left of the tower. Lost Pages 3/4 - Hilt of Angrvadall recipe - Go inside the nearby tower and you will find this beside the legendary chest on the left. Artefact 37/43 - Tributes to Freyr - Horn - Go to the opposite side of the tower and you will find this beside a lore marker. Raven 44/48 - Go inside the jaw of the monster bones to the east, then look at the roof of the jaw to see this perched on the edge of the northern eye socket. This wall is approximately halfway between The Below and The Canyons entrances. – ALFHEIM - The Hjarta – Mystic Gateway - Go to the chisel stone on the northwest side of the desert and interact with it to reveal a path leading to the far west. Follow this path and you will eventually pass this. – ALFHEIM - The Forbidden Sands – Favour - Song of the Sands - This will trigger once you enter the area. – ALFHEIM - The Burrows – Favour - Song of the Sands - Similar to the favour we completed to free the previous Hufgufa, head over to marker and climb down the shaft. Then continue on with this until you finish this favour and clear the storm, but keep an look out for the artefact in the step below. Artefact 40/43 - Tributes to Freyr - Pipe - After releasing the bindings, you will find this on the floor in the next room next to a legendary chest. Favour - Song of the Sands - Once you leave The Burrows and destroy the hive core, you will complete this favour. TROPHY 25/36 - Full Gufa - Free the Hafgufas. – ALFHEIM - The Forgotten Sands – Favour - Freyr's Gift - Go to the statue of Freyr to the northwest and this will trigger once you get close. Alfheim Barrens Key Half x 1 - Head south along the desert and you should see this glimmering on a blue circular patch of sand. Favour - The Desert Door - This triggers once you collect the key half above. Dawnbloom 5/9 - Go west from the item above to reach a wall you can grapple to. Instead of climbing the wall, go left to find this in the ground ahead. Raven 46/48 - Now climb the nearby wall and you will see this behind the statue at the back of the area. Nornir Chest 29/30 - Idunn Apple - This is just to the south from the flower and raven above, you will need to duck beneath a fallen pillar to reach it. Berserker Gravestone 8/10 - Go to the far southeast corner of the map to find this. Boss - Hjalti the Stolid. Bonded Leather x 40, Grip of the Nine Realms, Shattered Rune x 40 & Tempered Remnants x 3 - The boss above drops these. Alfheim Barrens Key Half x 1 - Go northeast from the gravestone and this will be on the first blue patch of sand you pass. Artefact 41/43 - Kvasir's Poem - Trip - Continue northeast and climb into the small tower on the right where this is lying. TROPHY 26/36 - The Librarian - Collect all of the Books. Raven 47/48 - Go west towards the entrance to The Barrens and stop about halfway between the entrance and the tower where you collected the last artefact. Now look southeast to see this raven perched on a large rock between you and the tower where the last artefact was. This is not the tall rock, but the wide rock which appears to have some wooden framework holding up a rock as a roof. Raven 48/48 - Go to the Elven Sanctum to the northeast and destroy the rocks at the base of the wall to reveal a hidden chamber. Go inside and you will see this raven flying around further inside the chamber. Nornir Chest 30/30 - Horn of Blood Mead - Same room as the raven straight ahead. TROPHY 27/36 - Full Belly - Obtain all of the Apples of Idunn and Horns of Blood Mead. Artefact 42/43 - Tributes to Freyr - Bracelet - Exit the chamber and then climb up to the main entrance. This is just to the right of the entrance. Lost Pages 4/4 - Hilt of Dainsleif recipe - Head inside the Elven Sanctum and you will find this in the 2nd room. Specifically, on the table in the northeast corner behind the lore marker. Jewel of Yggdrasil 7/7 - This is inside a Legendary chest on the upper floor. There will also be Whispering Slab x 13 inside. Artefact 43/43 - Tributes to Freyr - Token - Exit the sanctum and then follow the northern wall of the desert over to the west and you should reach a large rock with a grapple point on it, shortly after passing the yggdrasil rift on the rocks above. Use this grapple point to reach the ledge above and then squeeze through the wall to the east and you will find this just before the rift. TROPHY 28/36 - The Curator - Collect all of the Artefacts. Boss - Gravel Belly - Squeeze back through the wall and open the door on the right now that you have both halves of the Alfheim Barrens Key. Dragon Claw x 1, Skirnir's Gambanteinn x 1, Alfheim's Fortune & Dragon Tooth x 2 - The boss above drops these. Favour - The Desert Door - Beating the boss above will complete this. Shortcut grapple - On the southern edge of the boss arena. Mystic Gateway - The Hjarta - Backtrack to this gateway and warp to the Undiscoverwd Gateway (Mist Fiedls) in Niflheim. – NIFLHEIM - Mist Fields – Frostfinger 6/9 - This is in front of you where you spawn in. Berserker Gravestone 9/10 - You will find this to the far west of the area. Boss - Skjothendi the Unerring. Shattered Rune x 40, Tempered Remnants x 3, Berserker Gauntlets & Bonded Leather x 40 - The boss above drops these. Mystic Gateway - Mist Fields - Backtrack to this and then warp to The Raven Tree gateway in the same realm. – NIFLHEIM - The Raven Tree – Shop - Upgrade your weapons and repair the final slot on the amulet. TROPHY 29/36 - How it's Going - Fully repair the Amulet of Yggdrasil. Raven Tree - Head over to this straight ahead and loot all the chests, beginning with the nearest chest on the left and working around in a clockwise manner. Legendary Chest 1/6 - Girdle of Raven Tears. Legendary Chest 2/6 - Bracers of Raven Tears. Legendary Chest 3/6 - Cuirass of Raven Tears. Legendary Chest 4/6 - Breath of Thamur. Legendary Chest 5/6 - Meteoric Slam. Legendary Chest 6/6 - The Finger of Ruin. Boss - The Raven Keeper - Head into the chamber which has now opened opoosite the shop. Yea, to save time backtracking. Im actually quite underpowered and am not having too much trouble. If we dont dont get them as we go through, its going to mean a lot of backtracking endgame purely for those as we will already have everything else mostly!! A argument could be made on both perspectives 'Doing them along the way VS waiting for endgame'. But with waiting for endgame, you dont really know if that is better or not as guides advising that are just telling you to wait till endgame for everything anyway, mainly due to their belief that you are lacking abilities to access all collectibles (100% is the objective in those guides though, not platinum %) Edited November 15, 2022 by Optinooby Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

One more thing to bear in mind mate, if you have boss checkpoints enabled, you only have to drain half the bosses health to beat them, and do that x 2!! I just beat the berserker in Pilgrims Landing, I was level 4, he has purple bar so im guessing level 6. First ever attempt, I got his health bar below half, I then died, though I didnt have chance to use my rage and didnt use my revive stone. Then when i attempted a 2nd time, his health bar was already at half, so all i had to do was now taking the remaining half of his health. All my Runics were recharges due to the checkpoint and my rage was still full!! Much easier now mate compared to 2018 GOW 1. These bosses drop some awesome stuff to, you are really limiting your build leaving them to endgame and making more of a grind for yourself. The pommels this boss dropped is level 6 and just levelled me up to level 5 once I equipped it!! Ive not upgraded or crafted anything so far btw! There are only really 2 big regions throughout the story that it is VERY time efficient to detour slightly and collect all the platinum requirements stuff on certain story missions. Any areas not mentioned so far is because it would not have been time efficient to clear them and so they have been left till post-game. Now we begin optimising the remaining collectible clean-up, I expect it to take somewhere around 5 hours give or take, hopefully lower. Not sure on the exact order we will clean up realms yet, but Niflheim and Muspelheim will be last to prevent backtracking there. The former because you need all Ravens to trigger something and Muspelheim due to Gna and we want to be strong first. Be nice to say I have got the whole Platinum time without cutscenes down to 15 hours but wont know until all is finished. Im quite intrigued myself at the final platinum time with a optimal guide as its currently being depicted as being much longer than the first game in terms of platinum length, like a lot longer, though atm its looking like a similar length. There are 1 or 2 things I want to clarify but it's all good how it is!! I will add a brief roadmap to the front of the OP maybe over the weekend just to clarify what is and isn't needed for platinum just for those that would like to know for whatever reason. Once all is done, I think it's taken me approximately 15 hours excluding cutscenes, so a minimal platinum time for this is a few hours longer than the first game. I optimised it all quite well here, for those that have already platinumed, you can tell by just looking at The Crater sections. I did go a different route after the story initially, but had to go back to the drawing board as I was getting completely whooped by a double berserker boss, and so we go Vanaheim first to level up and it's quite an easy area, just confusing!! I also found out that you game wont let you go to Durlins house to report in the Spirit of Rebellion favour and update the Viking Funeral favour at the same time ;( Once platinumed popped, the realms were each between 50% - 70% in terms of collectibles so you CAN MISS A LOT if you don't care after searching every nook and cranny! We also don't really have to revisit any small sub-regions that we passed through the story as we got everything we needed then! I will add all these tidbits in the OP once I update the roadmap. Also, please let me know any discrepancies so that I can fix them while the game is fresh in my head! The editing could be a lot better here and this would be very nice in a proper gameplay guide, but i've done what I could with the time I have. If anybody wants to collaborate though and transfer all this into a nicely presented gameplay guide here, I'd be happy to! Videos are yet to catch up, but the guide technically is all done so hopefully it will save you a lot of valuable hours in your life!!
