I think it's worthy discussion given this is a trophy based site, and even site admins are actively working to combat it. And I don't know if we need to be so dramatic, nobody is anywhere near blowing a gasket at all. I quite literally addressed this in my post pre-emptively though. Nobody is telling people what to buy or what to play. All we are doing is judging (ideally more politely than not) how people spend their money, or what they choose to play. You can judge me for any aspect in life if you wanted to, it's up to me whether or not I take that judgment as advice or ignore it and think you're a goof. Some people legitimately need to hear those words to become self aware of their problem, because they might surround themselves with people who reinforce it. To me, putting it out there is fair game, especially when it's not harmful in nature and the discussion is quite literally trying to help people better themselves. Gaming has been my passion since childhood and I just want people to enjoy the time they spend with gaming, and treat it as a source of entertainment and enjoyment rather than an obligation. Or to be falsely misled into thinking they are building notoriety with them. I'd compare profiles full of these games to those people you see once in a blue moon with whole body (including face) covered in awful tattoos and piercings, you just have to stop and question what tragedy happened to them to make them that way and wonder if your words could potentially help them realize something they can't on their own. Given your last post basically confirmed you're the dev, I'm sorry that this is counterproductive to your goals, but I don't think you'll find much sympathy on here. When Sony has to hide your stuff from the store, and this site's team has to hide your stuff, that's a sign that we're not being dramatic. Also when you say "we", does this mean you're not a solo dev? So profits have to be split ontop of Sony taking a cut and not making many sales given the number of trophies we can see earned on this site... surely there are more productive ways to make money than making this pocket change? Why not try to dev an actual worthwhile game instead? You clearly have the knowledge on how to set up an LLC and do some game dev. Cheating takes effort. Holding x down takes none. You can actually remote play into those games from PC and set up a macro to mash x for you. Simple as turning the game on and hitting play button on the macro and walking away. Bumping it up people's game list? Doubt that's going to increase sales. The people who are going to buy your game have already bought it within days of release. Then the few who wait for sales on everything buy it on sale. Who's left after that? Nobody is buying it for the game itself regardless of adding a DLC. The trophies have been bought the game is done then deleted. That's all that happens. Even when a Youtuber covers an easy platinum game they never go back to the game to cover the DLC so there's no extra coverage going to come from it. Failing to see the motivation behind it other than to get this kind of reaction in terms of another topic about your games. but if enough people pick up the free DLC and all play it they could "in theory" make their way back onto the front page thru the popular games this week window... The entire game is also the stock image as well... There's no actual stroking even going on, the stock image pulse flashes instead. Kind of what Dead by Daylight does. It'd be even funnier if they got progressively more and more expensive, just to see which shovelware spammer cares the most about 100% completion rate. 63% of the "playerbase" played the Stroke the Puppy DLC, I want to see what that number is if the DLC costs £20 for example.
