Messi outstanding and might get Golden Ball now regardless of final. Messi overtaking Batistuta is kinda shitty as Batistuta is my favorite striker of all time and would have loved him to keep that record, but it was inevitable with Messi's talent I guess. Strong defense, great midfield, attack looks "weak" on first sight but once the ball rolls Messi & Julian just play at their best. Julian with 4 goals while not even being an starter is unbelievable. Fun fact: While Pele is widely considered the best player in WC history, Messi is just one goal away from him in the goalscorer table, sitting at 6th. Mbappe has 9 goals in 2 World cups. He could be the one to equalise if not break Klose's record with 16 goals in 5 and also might become France's all time goal scorer in the future. I also gotta give it to Giroud. Definitely one of the most underrated strikers ever. He's won the world cup, serie a, ligue 1, ucl, uel, some community shield and fa cups. It looks like the PSG forwards are really having it. I see France going through Morocco, unless their guard's down. I thought Argentina was gonna go to extra time with Croatia, but that looked easy for them. The Netherlands game was far better. I wonder how Brazil got eliminated by this side of Croatia. I liked rooting for the underdog, now with the final ahead I'm not really sure who to root for. Think I'm backing France despite them knocking out both my country and lovable underdogs Morocco .
