How many hours I need to 100% this title?

I got this game with PS Plus some years ago and I did start it in 2020 without caring about the length, now I want to complete some of my backlogs stuff and it seems a long game with 100+ hours but the guide is old and maybe they changed some things.

When I did this game a few years ago, it took me approx 103hrs to get the 100% but there have been a lot of additions since then, which make the game a lot harder and way more grindy so will likely be closer to 150hrs+ by now. This Plat/100% is soul destroying to earn, because of how crushingly boring and frustrating it gets.

I was there 3000 years ago...

I played it after i got it on ps+, servers were crowded and it was alot of fun, well never 100% it because I was to lazy to farm this drone? thingies needed to upgrade all weapons. as far as i remember it took 60-70h for the regular trophies and i kept my console running while driven in circles, squishing alien bugs for the kill a lot of enemies trophy. 100-120h might be realistic.

but that was years ago and as far as i know this game got some updates making upgrade all weapons trophy a grinding fest. (i think i read that sonewhere, correct me if i am wrong)

and i dont know if anyone is still playing this game, i dont know if this is possible to achieve without additional coop partners.

The servers are still active but not as much as they once were. Also, the all upgrades obtained trophy is much harder and grindier to get now, because a ton of new items have been added to its requirements over the years, including one that can only be unlocked on the new ultra hard difficulty.

ah yes thanks, that means the "upgrade everything" trophy was grindy as hell back then and might be unbeliveable grindy & hard today.

It depends on how desperate you are to finish this game. Personally, I would skip it and find something else to play, because this game gets really boring, really quickly, especially if you don't have a competent crew to play with.

I will play in my spare time

According to my profile here, it took me seven and a half months to complete this game. Obviously I played it interspersed with many other games, that's why it took me so long. I couldn't tell you how many real hours I spent playing, but what I can assure you is that I didn't have to grind at all.

I enjoyed Helldivers in each and every game I played. Even playing alongside random players use to be a fun experience. If you like this kind of titles and you don't intend to rush things, my advice is to enjoy it without thinking too much about the 100 000 kills trophy. It popped eventually in my screen just as will do on yours.

I still remember a lot of hilarious moments, both in the company of friends and random players. Helldivers marked to me the beginning of friendships with other players as well.

I can't remember all the upgrade packs that came with the PS+ version of the game as I bought the super earth disc version when it was cheap, renewed the DLC voucher, and traded it back in. If you are serious about the 100%, at minimum you will want the Ranger Pack (for the UAV drone that marks enemy and Research sample locations) and the Terrain Specialist Pack (All Terrain Boots perk to move at normal speed in snow and swamp, also comes with Missile Barrage which is a great air strike). Those items are pretty mandatory if you want to stealth run missions by yourself to quickly collect research samples. You will need a LOT of samples (10 samples = 1 research point) to fully upgrade all the stratagems and non-DLC weapons. I find the best map to collect samples on is when a Defend Earth event is on-going. It's a simple map of streets and the buildings serve as barriers to avoid detection and they have 2 or 3 extra samples. Toss distractor beacons down the streets you are not going down, and it will pull them over and around so you can make progress. The Guard Dog Drone from the Defender Pack is one of the methods to AFK kills for the rest of the 10,000 kills trophy. Another is to rubber band the Hazard Assault Vehicle (comes with the base game) on a low level planet so it drives in a circle running over bugs.

Beyond that, many of the DLC packs have weapons that can be useful in certain situations or are fun weapons to use like the REC6 demo charges (Demolitionist Pack), the EXO-51 Lumberer mech suit (Vehicles Pack) the only mech with anti-tank capabilities, Close Air Support air strike (Specialist Pack), one of the quickest deploying anti-tank air strikes which makes it easier to hit a moving target, Angel drone repairs yourself and allies while keeping your hands free to use weapons (Support Pack, also comes with a laser machine gun weapon that overheats instead of using ammunition), etc.

Platinuming may take some out of game time as well, the missions you do all added up as progress in war campaigns that usually last a couple of months. You have to take part in a successful campaign by completely at least one mission during it, but often times a war will end in failure. So even if play many missions during it, it might take 2 or 3 campaigns for the war to be a victory, which could be 7 or 8 months. You also have to complete a defend Earth mission which is the last stage before a war campaign fails. You also have to complete a mission on an enemy home world, which is the final step before victory. So after completing the other trophies, you may need to check in every few days to a week to see how things are progressing in the current war campaign so you can complete those 3 mission specific trophies.

So between possibly waiting months to get some of the campaign trophies and all the AFKing killing enemies for the remainder of the 10K kills trophy, it's tough to say how long it takes when you are actually playing. Once you get pretty good at stealth run collecting samples you can do it and watch something streaming at the same time. I finished it in 40 days, but that was back in 2016 when there were fewer weapons and stratagems added via free updates.
