Tips for Crowd Control

Mentioned this in another post and have been asked about it a couple of times so thought I’d share for anyone else who maybe interested.

I found at least, Once you have ability to pull and dash, essentially you don’t really need frequent use of any ranged weapon beyond two or three enemy types. This becomes slightly OP even once you have ability to pull multiple enemies combined with other upgrades. When there lots of enemies on screen (zombie types, werewolves, humans etc) you can use the pull to kite them all together whilst dodging whatever big enemy type is firing at you and using whatever was on cooldown (like grenades) only on big enemy. Then you can just pull and hit with gauntlet. Once hit combo is done, run away from group, pull again and repeat. Rarely do you get hit from one of the ones you pulled in the group whilst hitting one enemy with the gauntlet, but you can just dodge back, pull enemies again and carry on hitting one if you are about to get struck whilst hitting with gauntlet.

You can can pull/dash the annoying shooting cowboys too (no real need to use gun against them) and the same with the bouncy fire throwing ones. Even if they above you, you can pull them down. Once you get them in the group pull with the rest they just another thing to keep punching. Even with the big bats you only really need the gun to get it out of sky, then dash, hit combo with gauntlet etc.

once you upgrading skills to drop energy packs and generate energy and larger, quicker combos, combine these upgrades with all the punching you are doing generating energy, every fight essentially becomes the same routine. Dodge, run away, pull, punch. Repeat. Finish the big one.

there are a couple of variations and or extra steps for enemies like the floating eggs and underground big guys, but otherwise it all can be done with the  same basic premise and just rift from that.
