Flitterbloom
Hello, first update but two games added this time: The Wanderer: Frankenstein's Creature was initially supposed to check the B1 box... but it seems choices lead to different endings in this game. Won't be hard to check the puzzle box in my opinion so "With Player Choices or Multiple Endings" it is! It was a nice and (kinda) peaceful experience, I still need to replay through the story multiple times (I suppose) for the platinum but I reached one ending. Cat Quest II was on my to-do list since I played the first one last year, obviously "Anthropomorphized Animals". I was really hyped for this one because I'm more of a dog person (I love cats too!) but I did not enjoy this one as much as the first Cat Quest.
Vivamp
Was on the fence on if I should do Puzzletronics for the underplayed or arcade, rhythm or puzzle catagory, but think this'll be harder to fill later so here we are with game 3! Can't say i'd really recommend the game though sadly, thought a circuits game would be fun, but it doesn't really try to not feel repetitive forgot to paste in the link last time so had to dive through my history to find ;'( @squirlruler could I get stuck into the participants list pretty please? Popular Post DrBloodmoney
Another entry down! Game: Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden Box: "With Mini-games In It" A good, stylish little game - the second one in the Yoko Taro penned franchise of jpgs, told as table-top game campaigns, complete with dungeon master input (and commentary), dice-rolling, and a world crafted entirely from cards. This one is significantly longer than the first entry (Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars), and while still relatively breezy, does have some difficulty spikes that push the challenge a fair bit higher than that one! The writing is good - quite self-serious, but with a wink, via the commentary and tone of the narrator/ DM, and the music, visuals and style are all very good. The format established in the first game is toyed with a little more here, and while the game is relatively straight-forward as grips go, there's easily enough originality in the Voice of Cardsformat to stand out in a crowded marketplace! This one could have worked for a couple of boxes, but the one that feels most appropriate is "With Mini-Games", since each town features a "game parlour", wherein a curious, kind of compulsive little card game (what else?!) can be played against various opponents, with varying levels of difficulty, based on deck-size and the proliferation and frequency of random events.

stuthesheep
Time to get started on the 2023 card after getting a couple of non-eligible games out of the way. As part of an ongoing clean-up O1 is marked off with Marvel's Spider-Man - The Heist. Enjoyable enough DLC, if a little short. Nowhere near as short as the rather anticlimactic third one, but that's a grumble for somewhere else. Fun way to spend a handful of hours on a rainy afternoon though. I really should come up with a plan for some of these trickier boxes at some point, but let's just wing it for now - that's much more fun.
Popular Post ExHaseo
And another one done. Released the Year You Joined PSNP - I joined way back in the olden year of 2013, so this was another one that was a bit of a challenge to find a game for. Since I had played everything I wanted to play from then already, I decided to do Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. It was one I started, got a couple trophies, and never came back to. I found a copy for $5 and thought it would be a good way to boost my completion a little and do the event. I tried my best to enjoy it, but it is not for me. It's not the kind of game that respects your time, which tends to bother me. I'm glad I'm done with it. Thankfully, that should be the last of the questionable games on my card. The rest shouldn't be hard to find games for and should all be stuff I know I'll enjoy. Only other one that might give me trouble is That Gives You the Feels, since there's no real way of knowing if a game will do that until it's played. But I'm sure at least one game this year will make my cold dead heart feel something lol. My vacation is over come Tuesday, so just a couple more days left to try and do one more before I'll be pretty busy for a few months. I did everything I wanted to though, so I'm pretty happy with my progress so far. Edited January 14, 2023 by ExHaseo
Popular Post DrBloodmoney
Another entry down! Game: Norco Box: "Adventure" An absolutely blistering debut from a small, 6-man studio (Geography of Robots) - Norco is a downbeat, absurdist, swamp-noire / sci-fi alt-present mystery, set in a Louisiana Refinery region of poverty, degradation, corporate negligence, drugs and exploitation... where religion, spiritualism, robots, neural networks, rogue viral brain-constructs, mysterious phone-app agents, personality matrices, puppet shows, cults of former Walmart employees, Christmas-loving mercenaries and clown-make-up wearing private detectives are as common place as the bayou itself. A beautifully written adventure game - stylish, audacious, clever, funny, tragic, fascinating and genuinely engaging from start to finish - this isn't one to miss! Outstanding! This one could have worked for a couple of boxes - including, unfortunately, the "Underplayed" one - (though I'll be doing my best to make that no longer valid by telling everyone and their grandmother to play it now!) - but it is, if nothing else, a fantastic example proving the enduring validity of the point-n-click adventure game in 2023, and so it feels most appropriate in that box!
Popular Post Copanele
New box checked! Has no humans - Darksiders - the game happens during the Apocalypse, all humanity has been wiped out By an independent developer - SkyScrappers - Developed by Ground Shatter Has snacks - Dead or Alive 6 - this one is abit tricky, since it doesn't have a "Story related trophy", the closest story related trophies are the Arcade and DOA Quest modes. Snacks are available in Survival mode, they can heal you or give you extra points. With a # or Punctuation in the Title - Phatom Breaker: Omnia

Question about the Ultra Rare Platinum box. I know the challenge is about game completion, but for this specific box do I need to have completed the game this year? MikkelEhlers
I got my first game down for the Bingo board! Tearaway Unfolded was a very cute and sweet game: I beat it and putting it on "Crafting Mechanics", since the coolest thing in this game is that fact the you have a drawing mat, where you literally craft different items for the world or decorations. ExHaseo
Award Winning - Decided to put RE2 Remake here. It won a few awards, including Ultimate Game of the Year from the Golden Joystick Awards and Best of Show from the Game Critics Awards. I didn't really get into Resident Evil until 5, and I never really played the older games because of the horrendous controls. I'm really glad this exists, because it gave me a chance to play it, and I totally understand why this series became as popular as it is. It was absolutely genius to make what is basically an exploration based adventure game with only a couple of small areas, but then throw in enemies to add tension and excitement. I could rant about how good it is, but I'm sure everyone knows by now it's a classic for a reason lol. 1 hour ago, Phantochi said: I want to give this a shot, here goes my card, and if anyone could recommend me their favorite game to fill that spot it would be awesome, anything on the ps3 or ps4 will do If you want a reason to go and play games already on your list, I'd recommend Alice Madness Returns or Oneechanbara Z2 Chaos.
