Trophies unlock when cross-saving between other platforms (mainly Switch)?

The next-gen update introduces cloud saves for the PS4/PS5 version of the game via GoG, and it's been confirmed to work across other consoles. Does anyone happen to know how trophies work when moving back and forth between platforms, such as Switch? Do they unlock based on your progress, or do they not unlock at all?

(This is a real deal-breaker for me personally...)

I tried and managed to cross-save and start an NG+ on Death March, but it seems that NG+ skips the training tutorial, so I decided to back out and start a fresh save.
I will try again to e.g. open my old save and to just equip the Griffin Set or something, just to see if I can pop some other trophies, to maybe avoid Gwent grind.

Doing all the combat trophies are a pain, on that note is anyone having a trouble with the Axii/Puppet trophy? It seems that enemy I can Axii to can't kill other and just easily killed on one shot
