Looking at their list, I think Minecraft fits quite well in grey (based on the title and the silver trophy etc), and the game they've got in grey looks kinda brown to me? That could just be my screen though... Swaperoo?

Two you might consider, that you don't have (and aren't terribly long games to do) are maybe Gone Home, or Trine: Enhance Edition?

 

Saints Row the Third would be fine for Deep Purple if you need to though- a couple other folks have already pencilled that one in for it, and it doesn't bump for me, so feel free if you don't find anything else!

 

Yeah, deep purple is tricky. I'm somewhat gutted I got the platinum for I Was a Teenage Exocolonist just before Christmas, as that's quite a nice one for both purples imo. 

 

Instead, I'll probably use The Persistence, as I need a VR game for my Bingo list and it was a free PS Plus game not long ago.

Yeah, I'm probably going to use For The King because it's in my backlog already, and it'd be good to finally clear it off. 

 

There's also another deck-builder out fairly recently, Overrogue, although it's a bit more of a stretch for purple. Definitely counts (imo), but depends if you're a purist or not haha.

Small update: a couple of days ago I 100%ed the base game of Hitman 2 and it was pretty fun, although some of the objectives were kinda time-consuming. I'll still keep playing it throughout the year to complete everything that ps+ gave me given that it was overall a good experience.

Hey all!

 

I got another game done today! decided to tackle a rather good indie FPS game I completed but left on the back burner for quite some time.

 

I finished Project Warlock just now and using it as Tan, thought about Orange but the top of the image is more in line with Tan than orange in total

I'd heard a lot of good things going into this game, so I was pretty excited to get stuck in. For me it didn't quite live up to the expectations, but it was still an overall fun game for the most part. I found the side quest errands a bit too repetitive, and some of the post game grind was quite the slog. Particularly farming rare items needed for the alchemy trophy. Visually it is a beautiful game, and if you like JRPGs then definitely one to check out. Drippy is awesome though, and being a Welsh girl myself it's nice to hear the familiar accent in mainstream videogames 😁

 

Keep up the great progress everyone!

White Entry:  Fez.  Seriously, probably the best, most frustrating puzzle game I've played.  Plus, I learned a new language:  Zu.  Highly recommend it for any library as this game is definitely one of a kind. Thank you so much to the creator, Phil Fish.

Finished up my first game for the event with Shiren the Wanderer. Took me about 250-300 hours to beat this one. I enjoyed it for the most part except for the last trophy to max out your money....I played for 250+ hours and finished everything else in the game and only had 2 million. I had to get 99,999,999 for the trophy and the plat...spend about 15 hours, diving the same dungeon 98 times to cap out my gold. Was about 10 minutes each dive...so it ended on a sour note, but the game is extremely deep with all of the stuff you can do. It's definitely not for everyone, but I spent 18 months chipping away at it on my Vita.

 

 

The games on there are my 'goal' for the event. It is subject to change of course, but I'll put a little platinum image over the color as I cross them off. One down, thirteen to go!

Random question, is there going to be a SUPER SECRET tile for the most colours in 1 picture like a Rainbow? because I got a perfect one if there is, other wise I'll have to use this for Yellow when it's finished.

Ok, I've got a few points on the board with 2 games completed: Dragon Quest XI S for Maroon and Unpacking for Tan.

 

Still trying to decide my games for the other colors, but wanted to ask: is Stranger of Paradise grey / red / black? I was personally leaning toward grey.

Update day! I completed Tokyo Chronos for black, and Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising for light blue.

 

Tokyo Chronos is an alright-enough VR-only visual novel, though I can't say it left a huge impression on me. The idea of a VN in VR has potential, but with sparse environments and static blocking, Tokyo Chronos really doesn't capitalize on it. Honestly, this game could easily be translated into the genre's more traditional 2D spite-based presentation, and the only thing that would be lost is the headache from wearing the headset.

 

I'll be honest, I picked up Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising thinking it was a JRPG. It turns out the Suikoden successor that I vaguely remember hearing about is Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, which in theory is coming later this year. Rising is a prequel/worldbuilding exercise that has quite a bit more in common with a metroidvania. Oops! Anyway, much like Tokyo Chronos, this one really didn't leave much of an impression on me-- the word of the day is "fine, I guess." Combat is just the right blend of jank and easy to be totally unsatisfying. The presentation being 2D pixel sprite characters in a fully 3D environment calls to mind a cheap and charmless copy of the so-called "HD-2D" style Square has been using in titles like Octopath Traveler. And who could forget the ~150 or so meaningless fetch quests required for the platinum? Not my favorite game I've ever played.

 

I once again haven't decided what I'll tackle next, but part of me is thinking Call of the Sea for brown. I guess we'll see!

Time for another one from Project Clean-Up, it's Blue with Fallout 4 and the Automatron DLC.

 

 

 

Another one where the DLC image is the same as the base game.

 

Now I've seen an expanded image of it next to both the Blue and Light Blue headers, I'm not sure if it would actually be better in the category below. Still, it's definitely unarguably blue and that's a hill I'm willing to die on for now. Once I get around to actually looking out for games to fill in blanks I might find a lighter blue to keep it where it is, or a darker blue to move it down. This whole thing is turning out to be a bit more complicated than I thought!

 

Anyway, the DLC was reasonably fun, but its one of those if you haven't played it by now, or you're not a fan of the base game, which many aren't, then it's probably not worth it. Robots are always cool though.

I missed the 'dominant' part 😔 I was looking at the grenade being yellow as the only color for Battlefield: Bad Company. I was looking at the lettering in DC and the outline of the other letters for purple and then the green stickers on the car for Ferrari Challenge. That one has a lot of colors so was using that as a 'wherever I'm missing a color' game. Is the whole background for uncharted not black? My eyes are getting older so maybe it isn't black or maybe the blacksplash doesn't count? I'm not married to anything so whatever works for me!

Uncharted is just the medal, the background is transparent and shows up as whatever colour it’s placed over. There are a few games that have been to be like this earlier in the thread. If you click the game image it’ll take you to a page where the trophy is on a white background instead

I did notice that and was wondering why the background changed. The CoD games are like that too. Well that one will obviously change then lol. I have 49 more weeks to finish some games, so we'll see what way the wind blows on the games I play between now and then. Thanks for the clarification!

Hopefully I do better at this than I did with my Bingo Bonanza last year which I failed miserably since I always tend to completely try to 100% a game before starting a new one. Gonna give it the old college try though 🙂

 

Admittedly, starting off with a bit of a cheat though since my Hitman 2 is already at 93% with only Hokkaido to go. Yay Pink! 😀

My opinion only here, for your Tan I'm not really seeing how it could be that colour as it's mostly white and I'm guessing a dark red?. For your red other than the spot of blood I would say it would be better under orange or tan since that is more dominant colours and likewise with the orange one that looks like it would go more under Blue. Just my thoughts on it
