Any PSVR games confirmed NOT getting a PSVR2 Upgrade?

9 posts in this topic

Has anyone heard of developers confirming no upgrade, either free or paid? I have a number of games I haven’t gotten around to, or was getting around to buying, but don’t want to start / get them now unless I know it’s not getting a VR2 upgrade.

The last I heard, there are a lot of games that won't be updated with PS VR 2 support but I don't remember which ones they are. Here's the list of all the confirmed titles: https://www.roadtovr.com/every-game-playstation-vr-psvr-2/

Thanks, but I know the ones that are confirmed to get upgrades. I’m looking for ones confirmed to definitely not be getting upgrades. I’m likely never to use PSVR once I get PSVR2, so I want to finish off the games, but don’t want to finish a game only for it then to be announced as having a superior PSVR2 version.

I don't think you're going to find any sort of definitive list regarding this, because few developers are going to come out and say for sure that they have zero intention of ever porting their games over to PSVR 2. I've only heard about the stuff that is getting updated to run on PSVR 2, Moss Book I and II for example. I'm sure there are some games, maybe even a lot of games that won't get updates, but like I said I don't think you'll find any definitive list either way.

If you're worried about it then it probably makes sense to just hold off for a while on buying PSVR games in the meantime just in case they do get PSVR 2 updates, free or paid. The launch of PSVR 2 is right around the corner, so hopefully we will hear more news surrounding the bigger PSVR titles getting updates in due course.

I figured we might have a number of “no plans at this time” declarations, but maybe I was being optimistic. Looks like there are just a lot of games I won’t play because I don’t think I’ll be able to go back after Feb.

I will come down to beat saber for me.

I play it alot and own alot of the dlc. If it doesnt come then there is no point to me having to have two headsets hooked up to my ps5

It would be nice, but it’s not like a beat saber clone would be hard to make. I’ve only bought two song packs (well, the wife did), so I’m not massively invested.

I’m sure you already saw the good news, but I am so excited that Beat Saber is confirmed. I own it on Quest, but I sure as hell am buying it again along with song packs I already own on Quest just to be able to keep playing that game. Same thing for Pistol Whip.

I only hope the FNaF Help Wanted VR game gets ported. It's one of the few games in recent times I had fun and felt fear and tension in certain modes.
