Popular Post ExistentialSolid
Tier 2 - Complete!Overpass (3.62%): Have you ever used a vehicle to climb to a place you're probably not intended to go and felt like a naughty lil' bad boy? Well, guess what? They made an entire game around that feeling! In Overpass, you get to drive over rocks and tire walls and seesaws and up sheer cliffs with vehicles that don't at all feel designed to handle it. In fact, there's only a couple vehicles in the game that feel suited to the task, but you won't unlock the most important one until you beat the whole ass game with a 3rd place or better finish (the Polaris Pro XP). The concept is original, the events keep you on the edge of your seat, but it's a shame there isn't better vehicle balancing. Combine the wrong vehicle with the wrong track and you'll find yourself grinding your tires into the side of a muddy hill for five minutes until you grumpily return to the main menu. Of all the games I've played for this tier of the event, this is the only one I'd recommend (but follow this mini-guide to avoid any glitchy trophies). You can find it on the PS+ Extra catalogue so check it out sometime if you're curious! Moto Racer 4 (1.35%): Do you wanna do a wheelie? Huh? Do ya punk? Well Moto Racer 4 wants you to do a wheelie... every few seconds... for the entire game. And for the low, low price of $3.99 (when it's on sale), you too can become the biggest wheelie-ing bitch on the road as you clunkily stutter through tough-as-nails events and clash with occasionally unfair AI (there are at least two events that may be unwinnable unless the AI take a very specific path through the track). With a glowing score of 49 on Metacritic and 30+ UR trophies on the table, you're in for a doozy of a game if you pick this puppy up. I just hope you bring a bunch of friends along to earn the 10-player trophies with. Once in a blue moon, when everything comes together, races can be thrilling and the time-trial times you're required to beat can be so tight that they'll require you to take full advantage of every driving mechanic in the game. The developers really want you to earn that platinum trophy and I can respect that, but goddamn if the journey to get there isn't paved in frustration.MX vs ATV All Out (1.49%): Remember those 10-player trophies I just mentioned for Moto Racer 4? Now add six more people. This is another motorcycling game, except the difficulty is wholly optional this time around (other than finding a group for the 16-player trophies). Throw on a podcast or something because this game will have you falling asleep at the wheel as you slog through dozens of humdrum events and mindlessly scour maps for collectibles. There are stunt events where you can literally mash R1 on the ground to repeatedly do exciting tricks like "no hands" and earn more than enough points for a first place finish. Only play if you're starving for UR trophies and want something passive to pass the time. Don't Bite Me Bro! (1.00%): Like a feral mutt roaming the vacant backlots of PSNP, I was hungry for some quick UR trophies and stumbled across a plump morsel of meat packaged in free-to-play clothing. DBMB! presents itself as a blocky, open-world-apocalyptic-base-defending zombie game with an aesthetic that screams Minecraft or Roblox. The trophies are simple enough, typically involving the rescue of one of the game's many helpless NPCs littered around the world. Unfortunately, these NPCs can spontaneously combust, enemies can wander out of bounds, and trophies can bug out which will very likely frustrate your efforts to get to 100%. Thankfully, the trophy guide (be sure to check the guide's comments if you plan to play!) coupled with frequent save-uploads to the cloud (you'll want a backup since the game can autosave in unfortunate places) helped see me through this fever dream of a game in a single, short afternoon. Hawken (0.71%): Free-to-play? Multiplayer? Easy ultra rare trophies? Mechs? I ignored the warning signs and set foot into the gritty world of microtransactions and daily rewards with fleeting hopes of a game that might be just a smidge like Titanfall. To my surprise, that smidge was exactly what I got. My experience with Hawken was so brief, that I'm not sure I could do it justice without misconstruing elements of the game's design, but I started blasting away (kinda like Titanfall?) and earning trophies until I saved up enough in-game currency to buy a specific set of mechs and upgrades that I needed to earn even more trophies. Once I managed to buy the upgrades, I set up a boost session, found someone to play with the following day, and had the last of the game's trophies before I could even second guess my decision to play. I'll chalk up my experience as confusing, but cathartic. I have more ambitious plans for Tier 3. Let's see how it shakes out! All that's left in Crash 4 are the time trials, so fingers crossed I'm able to knock it out in the next few weeks! Halfway tempted turned into all the way tempted... Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters (PS4 KR): 100% (https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/19038-초차원게임-넵튠-sisters-vs-sisters/Wdog-999) Not counting a couple people on PSN as a whole who don't seem to be on any trophy sites I know of, I'm actually the first to get the plat on this specific version of the game, likely due to it being a digital-only Korean release which, at launch, was only purchasable through the PS4 to begin with. In any case, with this specific version having an absolute dearth of activity over the past 3 months since it's been out, simply loading up the game on my 32 Zumba alts as well as my several regional alts (and also finding the remaining players of the game who could be found and adding them to PSNP) was more than enough to get it to UR status. How long this'll actually last, I dunno (no one else with the game on PSNP seems to have any intention to go for plat, so it's basically up to whenever someone with intent to plat strikes), but it's really funny to have an UR Nep plat considering the series pretty much never goes below Rare and as of late, has generally hung in Uncommon if not Common. Is it a bit of a dirty tactic? Yeah, but also this took longer than Pure Chess, Ultimate Chicken Horse, and What the Dub?! combined (15 hours for actual playtime, 31 hours overall after turboing the 10k enemy grind), so it's hard for me to really care much personally. Assuming it's perceived in bad taste though and Copanele doesn't want to count it, I don't mind subbing in something else to finish off Tier 1 instead. As for the game itself, still haven't gotten to the English version yet so I can't really say much on the story, but it's pretty much fine enough like I thought when I did the initial JP release. I don't really get along with action games too much and at that, the combat here is sorta clunky, so I'm not particularly a huge fan of the game in regards to its gameplay. There's a bit of neat stuff here (the highlight being that you can actually freely explore Planeptune as well as its Basilicom halfway into the game), but overall it's a bit eh. Also as expected for pretty much any modern Compile Heart game, the plat is more or less a breeze difficulty-wise, with the only real caveat this time being a dumb 10k enemy grind that will never get done naturally. Part of me is happy that the English versions nerfed it to a much more reasonable and naturally obtainable 2000 enemies, though another part of me wishes the grind went unchanged so I could see where the plat rarities lie from people not bothering with the grind. Thedah
16 minutes ago, Arcesius said: Congrats on finishing the game ? How did you grind for Cat Call if I may ask? Thanks! I focused on grinding out the Legendary Multiverse for Catwoman. For the 3000 minutes, every time I was away from home or sleeping I would AFK with a rubber band pulling the analog stick left and turbo-ing X with X binded to "Meter Burn" in the Novice Battle Simulator set on "Very Easy". This makes it so that Catwoman does nothing except block while the CPU beats her up, then the turbo'd X will just keep retrying over and over. After you get to all level 30 epic gear for Catwoman focusing on defense/health, I would switch it up and do Endless Battle Simulator with an AI loadout with 30 Combo and 30 Counter with X turbo'd instead of AFKing the Novice Battle Simulator. With full epic gear there's a really high chance that Catwoman will never lose so you can kill two birds with one stone, but there's a risk of Catwoman losing while you are away/sleeping. The longest my Catwoman went was 12 hours and I manually quit out of the event. For the boss events, the 2nd planet on the top right usually has a repeatable boss fight with only 1 battle, so I would just do this over and over again to get the 50 boss events and 100 multiverse event clears. For the Arena transitions and Pounce, I manually controlled Catwoman in the Novice Battle Simulator and just grinded those out. Wait until you are at about 900/1000 wins to start this grind as there's a high chance AI Catwoman will do a lot of these for you. For the credits/regen tokens/guild credits you can abuse cloud saves so that you don't lose the credits but it will still count towards the requirements. You can do this by uploading your save to the cloud, going offline, sacrificing the required credit/token, going back online and redownload your cloud save. Just keep doing this over and over until the requirement is met. Sadly, you can't do this with sacrificing rare/epic gear but the Endless Battle Simulator grind will most definitely get you the required amount. Make sure you put "What I want" for Catwoman's trait when you reach level 30. Also if for any reason after you finish grinding and you still don't have 250 epic/rare gear, if you have two consoles you can boost with yourself in online player matches with two turbos (I used a turbo controller on the PS4 and remote play with PS4 Macro program to turbo on the PS5) to grind gear. (32 Zumba alts...damn) Yeah, Zumba online trophies are pretty garbage for requiring 100 different players online. Was able to get it all done with the help of other people's alts the first time I did it for the NA stack, but by the time I got to the EU stack, enough of the alts expired that I had to resort to creating some of my own to fill the gap. Glad I did considering I still need the alts for whenever I do the 30 player trophy in Spelunker HD and with the recent changes to PS3/Vita sign-in requiring device passwords, getting other people's boosting alts to work is a hassle and a half.

Its pixel art, 1 person dev, top down arcade hack and slash rpg mixed up with randomly generated levels. Its pretty good, not as great as the top tier competition(Crawl/HLD/Unsighted/Hammerwatch/NFT), but better than Titan Souls, Neon Chrome or even Rad. Trophy challenges were pretty chill and quick, i opted for 3 playthroughs to make it easier. Speedrun is very lenient. Got it for 4$, 15 hours to wrap it up, some nice story twists, and gameplay. Popular Post VirtualNight
One of the "Big 3" games I was planning for this year is cleared, Dirt Rally 2.0 Difficulty: 8.5/10 Fun: 7.5/10 The previous game is an arcade style, while this one greatly improves and turns more into a simulator. Lots of improvements and a more balanced difficulty made the experience quite enjoyable. The hardest trophy is the infamous "Flatout" which requires to beat a sort of story mode on highest difficulty, there are plenty of people that make this sound like a hell comparable only to Assetto Corsa, but i heavily disagree, the latter is way harder by miles. Reason is that while on AC you have to master almost each track and perform each turn perfectly, this does not apply to dirt rally 2, in fact in none of my vids you can see me play greatly but instead I often take turns with some cautions due to an insufficient knowledge of the track, and sometimes I even crash onto something, not to mention drift issues to the stick (someone who mastered each track can probably beat the times by 2min and way more for the long events). Memorable is how I have also beat an event without a tire: Maybe people take the advice of "no brakes" from psnp too seriously ("Forget what brakes are"), that's definitely the worst tip I have ever seen for a race game: while realising the brakes is definitely a strategy, doing that most of the times will make things way harder and maybe almost impossible. Although I don't have much experience with rally, i could "feel" the car just as in any other race game, so it was for most of the time a matter of learn each track well enough. Popular Post Arcesius
Heeeeeee! I actually finished one of my games sooner than expected! Injustice 2 I recommend this game 100%. Honestly, play this one, you won't regret it! You are still reading? Ok... Well, what I said above is not really true. At all. I already mentioned that Injustice: Gods Among Us was the worst game I played on my profile... And the sequel is the worst game I DIDN'T play on this profile. This was an awful 60h AFK grind, and the bits that I actually had to play were dull, boring and tedious. I already talked a bit about this game in my previous update, and you know how I feel about it, so I will keep it short. After grinding all characters to level 20, I opened all my motherboxes and.. Surprise, surprise! No Cat Call. I then experimented quite a bit with ways to cheat the RNG and try to get Cat Call, but this piece of shit game doesn't even randomize the contents of Motherboxes when you open them... It fixes their content when you GET them, so there was nothing to do... And so I decided to just keep the grind going and try to unlock the Legendary Multiverse for Catwoman. This morning, I saw that one of the boss planets was one that gave Catwoman gear and so I decided to grind out the 50 boss events while working. Once the planet expired, I went to equip my Catwoman with new gear and... Wait, what's that?? Can it be??? ??? Indeed, I had gotten Cat Call as a reward of one of the matches!! I think I was at around ~60/157 abilities at that point overall, so that was really lucky! I went to do the DLC, and there the next surprised awaited... I started downloading all DLC characters and... Wait, why does Darkseid cost 6€? ? Isn't he included in the Ultimate Edition?? That I luckily got for 6€ but usually costs 40€ (how ridiculous...)..? I didn't even care to check. I had enough of this piece of shit game and so just paid the damn 6€ and proceeded to finish the DLC (wow, I actually had a bit of fun with the advanced strategy tutorials! Who would have thought!), loaded up Catwoman and called a fucking Cat to Cheeta's face, checked my playtime (61h) and deleted this atrocity from my console.
Popular Post Joe Dubz
I decided to start things off right this year and go straight for one of the bounties!! Very happy to announce that I have conquered the BEAST that is Nex Machina last night ? Man, so many great things to say about this game! It is a perfectly made twin stick shooter, IMO. Everything about it is so satisfying, from how smoothly the game plays, to the beautiful little world they crafted... Hidden routes, fun bosses... Man this game just has it all! You get 5 upgrades during the course of your run: shield, triple dash, dash explosion, and both weapon spread and weapon range (plus a super weapon of sorts... Rocket Launcher was my ONLY choice lol). If you have all 5 at once, you get a nice buff to your shots and you shoot 5 bullets at a time! This was no walk in the park tho... The hardest trophy for me was having to complete an arcade mode run on Veteran (hard mode). While you do get 6 lives and 10 continues... If you have to continue on one of the later bosses, you might as well just hang it up and restart! You lose all upgrades but 1 when you continue, making the later guys pretty much impossible without triple dash and dash explosion. One thing I will say tho... Fortunately the trophy list does not include needing to kill the true final boss, Spoiler Nex Machina, only reachable by 1cc'ing the game on at least Experienced (normal) mode or needing to beat the game on Master (and even worse, HERO) mode, otherwise I feel pretty confident in saying this would be closer to a sub1% plat! It was a really fun journey, and I would be remiss not to thank 2 people here: @Arcesius, man your trophy guide is absolutely TOP NOTCH and was everything I needed to succeed! Can't thank you enough for that excellent work of art ? @Fleks_Mhteam, for keeping me motivated and not letting me give up!! You're my boiiiiii ? Here's a video of the run in case you'd like to see: Spoiler Alright well, that brings me to the current situation here! I realized it was kind of dumb to include 2 loooooooooooong games on the list so early, in putting CotN and EDF: Iron Rain up there. These are both long players and fortunately with the way the tier system works this year, I can just add them in if I ever make it to the finish line! Plus it wouldn't be the UR challenge for me without making a few swaps, right? RIGHT??!! So here we go: Tier 1: Crypt of the Necrodancer (0.06%;0.05%) 74% > Invisible Inc. (0.41%) 10% Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain (2.03%) 11% > RE: Revelations 2 (3.19%) 0% Nex Machina (3.66%) 100% Void Bastards (2.85%) 41% game 5 TBD > Dead Nation (2.62%) 0% (as per usual, the remaining list is subject to change at any time, for any reason ?) I started playing Invisible Inc. earlier in the week, which has been very enjoyable so far! Pretty sure I've heard the great @DrBloodmoney talk this one up, so I decided to finally give it a try. We'll see if I can stick it out! I also opted to put Dead Nation in there, I see it's a Q2 bounty so that gives me some time. It's another Housemarque game (same devs as Nex Machina). Although, reading the forum posts it appears that's another game that doesn't go so well with backwards compatibility to PS5. So we'll see how it goes!! I could dust my ps4 off and bring it back downstairs... however I already know my wife is gonna be annoyed so we prob won't do that Glad to be back in action with all you fine and skilled players! Cheers mates and keep popping those URs! Edited February 10, 2023 by Joe Dubz

Persona 3 may end up not counting, it still has 9 days before it becomes eligible, but we'll see. Madden was finished in 2023, so maybe it counts? If not that's fine I'll pick something else.
Popular Post Cruscah
Lovely Planet concept is the same as Neon White, kill some enemies and get to the finish as fast as possible. For the trophies, you need 3 stars on all 99 levels in the game, this means that you can't miss a single bullet and also that you have to be fast, like... really fast. Now please, take a look at level 5-14 as an example, this level alone took me like 4 hours to get 3 stars on. It might not look like in the video, but it's extremelly hard to hit those shots and there's basically no room for mistakes (not only you need 100% accuracy, movement is important too). There were other levels that took me 1-2 hours, I'm not going to mention each one of them though. Personally, I would rate Lovely Planet a solid 8/10 in terms of difficulty. With all of that said, I would recommend it, the visuals are unique, the gameplay is fun and the OST is amazing (seriously, it's impossible to get stressed while hearing this). Sadly, Harakiri, the easiest trophy from the list, is unobtainable. The dev is quite active on Twitter, I've messaged him and he said that he will take a look, but considering that the game was released in 2016 and that he doesn't have access to the playstation build anymore... I don't know if a fix is possible. Lovely Planet (0.00%) 94% Medal of Honor (3.36%) 100% MX vs ATV All Out (1.47%) 100% Neon White (2.87%) 100% SSX (2.32%) 100% Spoiler Going to post my second tier once I complete the first game for it, which is likely going to be Rumbleverse, considering the shutdown. Popular Post ExistentialSolid
Tier 3 - Update Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time (4.19% - Bounty): Over these last few months, I've developed a sort of love-hate relationship with Crash 4. I adore the tight level design, the gorgeous cartoon-inspired art style, the over-the-top bosses, the "just-floaty-enough" jumping physics, and the thrill of platinum relic hunting. But I despise the deviously hidden boxes that require a video guide to suss out, the N. Sanely Perfect relics that see you trudging through the same stage (and breaking the same boxes) dozens of times over, the inverted levels that exist to unabashedly pad your play time, and the clumsy "triple spin" mechanic that dominates level speedruns. I spent roughly 40 hours collecting all the gems, flashback tapes, and N. Sanely Perfect relics while I spent less than 15 hours earning all the game's Platinum relics. If that balance sounds lobsided, it's because it is. Perfect relics, which require you to clear a level with all boxes and no deaths, regularly demanded 1-2 hours of practice per level to earn while the Platinum relics typically took up less than 30 minutes per level on average. Perfect relic grinds are often miserably tedious while the Platinum relic grinds are fun and frenetic, even if they tend to require you to abuse the triple spin mechanic to succeed. . For a casual playthrough, I couldn't recommend the game enough, but, for a completionist... brace yourself for a mountain of chores. I've never had to rely so heavily on guide videos to get through a platformer in my life (watched 30+ "all box + hidden gem" videos, 38 "inverted hidden gem" videos, at least 10 "flashback relic" videos, and 38 "platinum relic" videos). Before I disappear into the void for another few weeks, I have a quick question about the Most Wanted list @Copanele. For Q3, Dariusburst Another Chronicle EX+ is listed as one of the eligible bounties. I was curious if Dariusburst Chronicle Saviours would count in its place in much the same way that Catherine: Full Body does for Catherine (PS3) considering that CS and ACEX+ are almost identical (to my understanding anyway) barring a few minor changes in ACEX+. The trophy list for Chronicle Saviours appears to be the more difficult of the two given the inclusion of the hitless-QUZ route trophy "Bird of Legend" while ACEX+ instead demands a hitless-CGL route, which is made easier thanks to the Murakumo ship's inclusion in arcade mode. If Chronicle Saviours doesn't count, it's all good. I just figured I'd check since the two are so similar!
