Popular Post Joe Dubz
Howdy peeps! I am back with another update, as Lumo has been completed!! It is a very intriguing isometric platformer that harkens back to games from the NES/SNES era. And what a fun little game this has been! Albeit I was getting a little burned out hunting for the myriad of collectibles this game has... Seriously tho, 50 cassette tapes, 60 coins, 14 maps, and 32 ducks... And in a game like this that's kind of on rails to an extent with no good map system in place, it really does require following along to a video to even find everything. There were def a few of each (except ducks) that I never would have found on my own! One of the more painstaking processes in this game was acquiring all 32 ducks without dying while holding a duck. This is easily cheesable by just closing the game app and restarting before leaving the room, negating any deaths. Anyway, did it the first time, no pop. 2nd and 3rd time, same. I was starting to get really annoyed with it, until a friend mentioned you actually need to proceed to the next room with the duck for it to count towards that trophy, no leaving out of the easier way you came in. Woulda been really helpful to have that in the trophy description, FFS! Fortunately you can find them all in a little over a half hour if you haul ass through there lol. But still, it wasn't until my 5th try I got the stupid trophy to pop. Another weird quirk of the game is that it uses server saves. So if you want to use cloud saves, you have to play offline! And considering 75% of the trophies are missable... You are definitely gonna want to go that route to save yourself a ton of time! There are also 6 minigames that need completed under certain conditions for an extra set of trophies. It was like half and half whether they were challenging or not! I think only 2 of them took me more than a handful of tries. The hardest one being "Marble Madness" as you'll see here: Spoiler This one took me somewhere between 20-30 tries to get it right and finish with 104 or so seconds left! I'll thank all my childhood hours spent playing the game's clone, Marble Madness lol. The last big challenge in the game is to complete Old School mode. Just like it sounds, you are given a set number of lives to do so!! This would have been extremely challenging for me, as the 2nd half of the game is very tricky... However some kind soul found an infinite lives glitch! It takes some effort to pull off tho... I wasn't able to do it until my 4th try, but it works like a charm and left me on easy street to finally nab the plat! In summation, the game was extremely enjoyable for me and I would def recommend it! Which brings me to my progress so far: Tier 1: Invisible Inc. (0.41%) 10% RE: Revelations 2 (3.19%) 0% Nex Machina (3.66%) 100% Lumo (0.81%) 100% Dead Nation (2.62%) 100% Okay, as for what to play next... I started Badland! I dunno if I'm gonna be able to plat it tho, considering you need a skilled and dedicated co-op partner to play over shareplay... But I'm gonna stick it out and see where it goes. Not gonna add it in yet just because the co-op part needs squared away first! I've also been playing Resogun, which has been decent. But again, not sure if I'll have the wherewithal to stick it out. So the list will stay the same for now. Cheers and happy UR hunting everyone!
Popular Post maisie666
Another backlog game down, picked this up for couple bucks a while back. Its fun, and not too demanding, except for the Helladeck, which i'd describe as puzzle platforming with a very tight timeframe. Tier 2. 3/5 completed. 1. Songbringer 1.98% 2. La Mulana EX 1.02% 3. STFU 2.34% Not really sure what i ll get around to next. The plan was Dustforce or Downwell, but my new controller's stick started playing up, leaving me to finish STFU on the Dpad.

Popular Post Shrooba
I finished my first game for the UR Cleanup this year, the PS3 version of Persona 4: Arena Ultimax alongside that gruesome DLC!!! This one is a game I've been eyeing for a while, but I at first settled for the PS4 version since you didn't need to do two specific DLC characters who-- on one hand-- induces cardiovascular disease with their difficulty, with the other requiring you to spam Square and X at the start of the combo until the cows come home! ? Given I don't dabble in 2D fighters all too often, it took quite a while to be acquainted with it! In particular, combo challenge 24 of one of the three DLC characters took me about 3 and a half hours of overall practice to finally nail it the first time! Although, I actually find myself doing it every now and then since they're actually a really fun character to play as! The implications of saying who this character in particular is-- and how they'd be playable at all-- would heavily spoil Persona 4, and given that it just got a re-release and people playing it are bound to be on this thread, I won't say who exactly it is. But, those who've done this before know who I'm talking about since they're the bee's knees when it comes to the challenge of this game ? (the plat itself is rated a 7/10 in difficulty... this particular character's DLC raises the 100% to a 9/10!) The reason why I mustered the courage to pick up the PS3 version was because I was playing BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle which prominently features the Persona 4 cast, and I figured I'd hop back onto the PS4 version of P4AU for fun, and eventually I found myself doing this particular DLC character... With tips from @Copanele, I managed to finish their combo 24, and I figured if I could get the hardest thing done, it wouldn't hurt to hunt the trophies for the PS3 version alongside that DLC! In this spoiler bracket, I'll include a video of the first time I ever completed this combo! Spoiler As you can see, I was bloody elated for getting that done! ? I can see why this game is a 9/10 with stuff like that! I also truly want to thank @Copanele again since he helped me with ALL of the online trophies for the game! Even though he'd already done the game himself, he went out of his way to help me get it all done in a couple days. I've already thanked him when we did it, but I gotta do it again here to let people know how awesome you are! ? Next I'll probably get back to GRIP since I've had that hanging for a while! And I've got around a couple weeks to go until the 3-month Rayman Legends grind is over, which is 3 months too long. ? Also made a couple changes to my 5 games, one of them being adding the PS3 version of P4AU since I didn't think I'd ever manage to do it, and the other being BlazBlue Chronophantasma Extend (try saying that one quickly)! It's an 8/10 fighter which seems daunting, but I figure if I managed to finish this, then I should have enough experience to eventually get it done!1. Persona 4: Arena Ultimax (PS3) - 0.60% - Done 2. Rayman Legends (PS4) - 4.12% 3. GRIP: Combat Racing - 2.47% 4. BlazBlue Chronophantasma Extend (PS3/PS4) - 1.84% 5. Superhot - 4.71%
Popular Post Dzware
Time for my first update of the year! First up is GTA V which is a game I've been working on, on and off for years. The plat itself wasn't too bad, just a bit long due to the amount of collectibles needed. Reaching rank 100 online was also a bit time consuming, but at the time I did it there was an afk playlist that I could just leave on for whole days, so that took no effort at all. The DLCs asked for a bit more, as most of the trophies there are from the online heists. These were by far the most fun part of the game for me, at least when playing through them once casually.. Needing to do the doomsday heist a grand total of 5 times (and probably more needed still, since the game glitched out on half my group, causing them to lose the progress for the run) made it into a huge chore. Luckily I had a friend who was willing to carry me through all of it, so difficulty wise it still wasn't too bad, just annoying lol. And somehow I actually managed to reach my goal of making Ikaruga my 200th platinum milestone! This is such a great game, you can really see just how well crafted it is when going for the S++ ranks. Managing to chain whole sections and mastering chapters felt extremely satisfying, and I often had trouble putting this game down, despite my sometimes super slow progress. While this is definitely my hardest platinum I've earned so far, a large part of the trophies aren't actually too bad with some practice. A large part of getting high scores is just completely knowing the chapter like the back of your hand, so you never have to hesitate. Being able to anticipate everything coming means you won't need that much precision for most of the game.. except chapter 3 that is.. Almost half my 100 hours on this game were spent on this chapter alone, which has super fast sections, combined with a bit of RNG, so just memorizing wasn't enough there, I had to actually git gud. After getting all S++ ranks done though, the 1CC runs weren't hard at all. Got the solo 1CC first try after about an hour of individual chapter practice, and co-op 1CC didn't take too long either, but it certainly helped for that to have @ExistentialSolid help me out, so many thanks for that! The rest of my Tier 1 shouldn't be too bad luckily, got the most annoying parts done of the 3 games I have left: Tier 1 Ikaruga (PS4, 0.61%) - 100% Grand Theft Auto V (PS4, 0.18% - 100% Raiden V: Director's Cut (PS4, 3.03%) - 92% Uncharted 4 (PS4, 0.89%) - 21% MotoGP 09/10 (PS3, 0.73%) - 8%
Popular Post VirtualNight
It's been a while, since I have been playing DCUO and had to grind lots of things along with my group. Finally cleared another game: Sports Champions: Difficulty: 8.5/10 Fun: 4/10 Initially quite fun, it turned quickly into a nightmare: PS move games are a particular category for me, since I'm about 2m tall, have a small gaming setup, can't stay over 1m from the TV, can't place the Camera properly so it always either points my belly or my chest... so this game has been quite a pain. Anime Champions as i should rename it, since the physics and the AI's dances before making their moves seem coming from an anime. There are 6 sports, each divided into 4 categories (bronze, silver, gold, champions) and you gotta get 3 stars on most of them since you need 600 stars of the 718 total available (if the math is correct), but most of the champions category is way too unfair and tough so several stars from there are not reachable for average players like me. Each sport was annoying for one reason or another, and i shall be free to rant: Volleyball: the least annoying, since with the pause-exploit you can react instantly, but on Champions level I couldn't go much further since the AI would smash the ball in a way that my AI partner would NEVER do something Gladiator: the equivalent of an anime fight without teleporting, although multiple side steps in a row were a thing, as well as the fact that the AI would read your moves, can block immediately as soon as landing a hit (which you can't do) and can stun you in 2 hits while you can't. Some 3 stars do not seem possible, since the AI just blocks for 5min in a row Archery: this wasn't too bad, although at higher level the AI "knows" where items spawn and shoot there as soon as they spawn. Since the items' location is randomized, I don't see how it is possible to win in the champions cup, let alone get 3 stars Bocce: I hated this one. I could already tell before start it that it was going to be shit. And the reasons should be obvious, I can't even understand why put this sport in the game. Doesn't help that some of the maps are some bullshit mazes with dozens of paths Table Tennis: more anime things here, with the ball performing unreal movements at higher levels, hopefully with the pause-exploit you could read it and so, with LOTS of patience, also get 3 stars on everything, which I didn't bother to since I didn't need more stars Disc golf: it looks like if you don't do this sport in real life, you are going to have a lot of hard time. Add to this my calibration issues and yes, this is the recipe for the disaster. Hopefully, you can quit to retry the current hole so eventually it is doable to win, but forget the 3 stars here, from silver your only goal is win since 3 stars is way too shit to target at. I had to develope my own way of throwing to compensate the calibration issues, which was enough With this done, I think the other games done will be all PS Move for ps3, since I'd like to take this category out of the way. I may go for some bounties if I'm in the mood. Popular Post VirtualNight
+ 5 points. Nex Machina: Difficulty: 6/10 Fun: 7.5/10 Had good fun with this twin-stick shooter, I wasn't expecting to clear it in one day though. 6 scenarios/worlds to play, one 1CC run on the equivalent of the Medium difficulty which I succeded on my second try, a run through the Hard difficulty which wasn't too bad and plenty of miscellaneous to clear 100 of the over 200 available feats. If the trophy list required to fully clear the Feats, then this game would have been really insane to plat, I'm glad this isn't the case since some feats are incredibly hard. I will go for Crash 4, but first I will play the trilogy, so in the end I will most likely not be able to claim the bounty though. Popular Post kraven_15
Finished WWE 2K Battleground last night. Not a bad game, pretty fun concept with tons of unlockables. The main issue is the AI counter rate. It borders on rediculous and makes things unnecessarily frustrating at times. Still, nothing insanely difficult to contend with... but better suited to couch coop with siblings or mates. Started Neon Chrome last night and swapped out NGS2 for now. Popular Post BrandedBerserk
Tier 1 - First Completion Dead Nation 2.63% (Bounty) Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Time: 25 hours Not much to say about this one although it holds up decently I suppose but found it to be an average twin stick shooter at best. The "hardest" trophy ended up being rather simple when me and my partner realized we could just speed through it rather than playing naturally just to get fucked over by a bad spawn or getting swarmed into some corner. On a side note though, it's crazy to see just how far housemarque has come and improved over the years to where they're now making big budget first party titles for Sony. Progress update: Been chipping away at neon drive slowly and I should have it completed soon as theres only 3 levels left for me to complete. No lie its been a slight pain in the ass as my fingers get tired after awhile and I simply can't keep up with the inputs on insane when that happens so I end up having to take little breaks. Will be making some changes to my list:
Popular Post blu3st4rdust305
Got another completion down. Gauntlet is basically one long grind. Sure, you have to complete the game on Hard mode and get thru 50 floors of endless, but 80-90% of the time and energy will be spent on mindlessly grinding away the kill trophies. Hopped online with an open party and had random people jump in and out, speeding up the Hard mode clear, same with the endless mode. Then, buckled in to either hold down a button or direction for most of the kill trophies with one hero or another. This made the final grinds in most other games seem pleasant, almost welcoming. Thought it was going to be more fun, kind of like a stripped down Diablo. It ended up just being tedious. Next game needs to be more engaging. Tier 1: Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (3.48%) - 4 UR trophies - 100% - Completed 01/27/2023 Team Sonic Racing (3.16%) - 12 UR trophies - 100% - Completed 03/10/2023 - Q1 Gauntlet (2.13%) - 21 UR trophies - 100% - Completed 03/19/2023 Zombi (3.30%) Nex Machina (3.65%) Spoiler End of Year Goal: 3/14 UR games, 37/105 UR trophies. Popular Post Koro249
Tier 1 completed Since my last update i finished 2 more games, concluding my tier 1 for this year. Dreadnought: Probably all of you have heard of this one by now, many have done it recently due to the upcoming server shutdown. I mainly did it, hoping it would stay a sub 1% game but it started losing its rarity very quickly after the shutdown was announced. It was quite surprising for me, but shows that more and more people seem to be interested in those sweet ultra rare trophies, which is a development that I like to see. For the game itself, I don't think there is a lot left to say. Boring grind with one somewhat challenging/RNG trophy for clearing wave 10 in havoc mode, which my team luckily got within just 2 tries. Challenge: 4/10, Enjoyment: 4/10MX vs ATV Supercross Encore: After kinda enjoying All Out from the same series earlier this year, I figured I would just get all the Plats of this series, especially since they are all UR. While, like All Out, this one had close to no challenge again, it was sadly much worse in every way. What especially annoyed me was the terrible handling. Trying to stay on track with the ATV was a near impossible task as it would break out to the left or right whenever it felt like it. Fortunately, the CPU had the same issue and you would see drivers flying around everywhere. I hope the 2 installments I have left are better. Popular Post Honor_Hand
Completed Team Sonic Racing the other day. It's a solid kart racing game. It has a number of annoying issues, mostly related to its team mechanics and some performance issues on PS4, but the gameplay is solid and its music kicks ass. I had a good time playing it. One thing worth noting, though, is that I found it way harder than what the guide here suggests. Not so much the Expert races are the hard part but some of those Daredevil and Ring challenges actually took a decent number of tries. The rest of the trophy list has a few annoying trophies like the one that requires you to have 3 controllers. Thankfully, I was able to bypass this with my Vita, but still, a somewhat tricky UR. Will expound on my thoughts about it a little further at a later time when I can catch up with my writing. Neon Drive is the next one I'm going to try and finish before the month is over, although I have my doubts seeing as rhythm games are like kryptonite to me. I just suck at them. Everything I'll most likely carry into Q2.
