Popular Post Platinum_Vice
Game 1 completed 9 Years and 7 months later, one of my favourite games is fully completed. I’d previously written off the DLC trophies but when @YaManSmevz said he’d be going for it, I knew we should posse up, load up, mount up and While Smevz was just starting his Red Dead Redemption journey, his help ended mine, so thank you 'pardner.' I can’t recommend this series enough. I love it. It still holds up in 2023. This also marks the end of my backlog on the PS3. It’s finally time for that workhorse to ride off into the sunset (i.e. into a dusty corner of my house). Also, all this cowboy action is feeding my desire to hunt down a posted bounty; I’m adding in Crash 4 (PS5) for when I finish up Wipeout Omega Collection. Progress has slowed on that game with the amount of races to complete in the HD / Fury side, but fortunately I’m done with the 2048 aspects.
Popular Post Cruscah
I have yet to find an extreme sports game that I don't like, SSX was fun all the way through. There is a lot of stuff that you need for the platinum, 37 trophies are converted to almost 200 in-game badges, and reading guides before playing the game make things more complicated than they are. SSX has 3 game modes: World Tour: Main campaign, nothing really difficult imo. Global Events: Full online experience, you compete with others in time limited events to see who can do better. Since there are not that many people playing the game nowadays, this is purely a grind, it's actually harder placing 3rd and 4th than 1st and 2nd. Explore: Where the real challenge is. Even tho you only need gold on every drop in one range, I found it harder than doing 110+ on Steep. Some requirements are wild, and every range has that one drop that is really hard. I've done Alaska, considered the easiest by most people, but those avalanche drops were not fun at all. SSX is an old game published by EA, give it a go if you have it on your backlog, I wouldn't be surprised if they announce a shutdown anytime soon. Don't be scared by the online stuff, if necessary, you can pretty much boost everything with a few alts (you don't even need 2 consoles or anything like that). Lovely Planet (0.00%) 0% Medal of Honor (3.34%) 100% OlliOlli2 (0.64%) 0% SSX (2.32%) 100% Superhot (4.86%) 0% Spoiler Lovely Planet or Superhot next, OlliOlli will require more focus and there's no way that I'll be able to that while addicted to DRG and Neon White.

HUGE shoutout to @Arcesius who provided a lot of help and advice for the game as well as the videos I used to learn from, it really made the entire proccess FAR more enjoyable. Once again congrats on finishing this one! And you know, following your progress and discussing the game with you was probably the most fun I've had with SMBF, so... You're welcome, but also, thank you! ? I have finished my third game! Neon Drive @Copanele this is a Q1 bounty ? Anyways... "Drive" in the title, you control a car 75% of the time, otherwise your car turns into a spaceship, a jet or a robot... But this couldn't be further away from a racing game. Neon Drive is 100% a pure rhythm game, and a quite good one I would argue! Each of the eight stages starts with you as a car on four lanes, and all you can do is press left and right. You have obstacles in front of you, and avoiding them requires you to follow the rhythm of the song. The second half of each stage is a bit different... No two stages share a similar second "phase", but they still very much belong into a rhythm game. You might turn into a robot and need to "jump & slide" to the rhythm, or turn into a flying car and have to avoid incoming traffic, etc... For the 100%, you are required to beat every single song on three difficulties (normal, hard and insane) without making mistakes. Starting with normal to figure out the patterns is actually very helpful (and the other two difficulties are locked at that point anyways), and hard / insane don't introduce new obstacles but instead increase the speed SIGNIFICANTLY. Sticking to one song until all difficulties have been mastered is in my opinion the way to go, as you will automatically start to build up muscle memory for the hectic sections, and be able to execute them at insane difficulty as well. Overall a very short, somewhat challenging, and very enjoyable game! Here is my video with all eight stages on insane difficulty: Next... I will keep practicing Bleed whenever I feel like I can endure some frustration, and either start DmC5, Injustice 2 or OlliOlli World.. I'll decide spontaneously when the time comes
Popular Post CorporalBowser
Rounding out Tier 2 is Mothergunship, a fast-pased, prodecurally-generated, weapon-customizing, often funny FPS in the similar vein as the Serious Sam games. No strategy here, outside of a couple on-the-spot choices...it's all about destruction and moving and blasting away anything that moves. Trophy-wise, it has a couple tricky tasks to complete, but it is especially marred by the inclusion of the "Buzzkill" trophy, which is heavily RNG-grindy. As far as Tier 3 goes, I'm not sure where to head next at the moment. I'm considering veering off and doing some non-UR-related games, but I'm not 100% on that right now. Keep up the great work, all! Catherine (lmao) get the hell outta here Dragon Ball Raging Blast(1.21% rarity) Chaos Code was pretty fun to play, a wild fighting game with loose mechanics and great character design. The list itself wasn't too bad, apart from that stupid 50 wins in survival mode, where you have to beat 50 enemies back to back. Obviously the AI tends to cheat big time, especially the final opponent of Survival mode, an anemic dude who summons corpses and won't let you get in. Now I realize, most of my event lists are ...fighting games lists I should add abit more diversity.

Popular Post Eqill5
First game completed, Super Meat Boy!!! When I first joined psnp and came across SMB, it seemed to have a reputation for being one of those difficult but popular platinum trophies, almost like, if you’re going to try your hand at something hard - start here. And it was tough there’s no doubt about it! It’s an excellent platformer. Fluid movement, tight controls, really fun and memorable levels. I also loved the transition from light and dark worlds. However....I honestly stopped having much fun when I reached Cotten Alley (the final world) and was going for Girl/Impossible Boy trophies. I put the game down whilst practicing for Impossible Boy twice. I couldn’t enjoy it for whatever reason, maybe I had been in the wrong mindset at the time, or burnt out from it, but after 11 months of no progress, I returned to it fresh, relearned all the levels and practiced, and practiced. The final trophy took me around 25-30 hours over the last 3 weeks to earn, sadly I haven’t had much time so it was mostly short sessions. I ended up enjoying a lot of the levels in this final world, it’s more fun when you aren’t dying all the time I’d read people talking about it but didn’t realise just how nerve wracking it would be. The nerves, man oh man... everyone that has done this will understand the adrenaline when you are only 1 or 2 levels away from the success of an Iron Man run. And for that thrill alone I would highly, highly recommend this platinum if you fancy a fair challenge! For now I will play something less stressful Tier 1: Super Meat Boy Oddworld New n Tasty - 0% ? ? ?

Popular Post Lum
Happy to start this event with a bang by reporting my first game completed, and a Q4 bounty at that: Koihime Enbu Ryo Rai Rai (0.63%) This one is platinum 100 for me and an excellent addition to my collection of platinums. I had 2 candidates in mind for this milestone: TLoU Part I (PS5) or Koihime. A game I either adore greatly, or one that’s very hard to earn the platinum in. Originally it was going to be whatever comes first, but then I decided it was going to be Koihime when it was around the beginning of me doing the combo challenges. Since the devs in this game screwed some trophy hunters once already by having their challenge mode progress reset with the newest update, I figure I was going to try and finish these as soon as possible just in case the devs pull some BS like this again. This is currently my most difficult platinum that involved having to complete some of the hardest combo challenges/trials in a fighting game that is up there with some of KoF XIII’s hardest trials. What makes these challenges/trials so hard is that the last two challenges (challenge 14 and 15) of each character are very long (majority of them have anywhere from 20-29 inputs) and have very strict timings throughout the combo. Unlike trials in other fighting games where all or most of the inputs are done on the dummy in the corner/end of the screen, or where you and the dummy stick to one side for the whole trial, in Koihime’s you and the dummy will be all over the screen, switching sides frequently, that stresses more on correct positioning of you and the dummy and another reason why these challenges are so difficult. There are challenges where you have to run under the dummy followed by a strictly timed input on a certain area of the dummy’s body, or others where you have to time a strict dash, jump and cross over the dummy, followed by the next well-timed input, or others that just have weird or unorthodox delays for certain inputs that you can’t tell at first glance unless you’re watching the combo frame by frame, or have been actually working on the combo. Not to mention, on top of the one frame links you also have the coined “perfect frame dashing 3B (or 3C)” that will have you retrying many times. The one thing that irked me the most attempting these challenges was my inconsistency of pulling off the basic and frequent 214/236 motions required when I was at or close to the end of the combo. My thumb would many times make a 24 (down, left) or 26 (down, right) instead of a 214 (down, down-left, left) or 236 (down, down-right, right) motion on the d-pad and this irritated me to no end. Another motion that the game seems to register very often is a 2114 and 2336 motion that seem to fail many attempts instead of the correct 214 and 236 respectively that was also very annoying, despite seemingly that my thumb is going over the motions on the d-pad the “same” way every time. My combo, quite a few times, would fail the hiougi at the very end of a few character’s 15th challenge because of the above reason, and half the time it would still lead to a challenge 15 success. This lead me to believe that the input command located on the left side of the screen in training mode may be inconsistent at times with what you may actually be pressing. The one thing I noticed when completing the challenges and progressing was that I noticed myself adapting and getting better at the challenges in general so there seems to be a steep learning curve here. Part of it was because I eventually learned how to approach practicing the combos by splitting them into smaller parts that helped me learn and memorize the whole combo more efficiently, which was huge for me. My last few characters took me less time to finish than my earlier characters, but it’s hard to tell if the earlier ones I’ve attempted simply just had harder trials, or I just got better at the game over time, or a combination of both. The Divine Combo was still hard as well with the 1.00 glitch. What made this trophy hard was more from getting enough hits (90 hits minimum) in to activate the glitch than just simply reaching the end of the combo. You can easily be short by a hit or two, reach the end of the combo successfully, and still not trigger the glitch. I actually had to activate the glitch twice because I accidentally “unglitched” the dummy the first time by not being close enough when I activated Shokatsuryo’s tornado assist. My mistake here was that my position when I shot the tornado was in the middle of the screen (that actually succeeded the first few hits) instead of being only 2-3 steps away from the dummy, being fairly close that was the correct position. So let the above be a warning to those who are planning to attempt this trophy. I want to say thanks again to @Thedahfor the tips that helped me with a few of the challenges, appreciate it a bunch. Credit also goes to chuchuexile, PeachXHime, Laxus-0 and ThanatosNinja2 for the finding of the Bacho glitch that really helped with the Divine Combo trophy. As much as I enjoy doing combo trials, I’ll be staying away from them for at least a month or two lol, after spending 3 months on and off on the trials alone in Koihime. Good luck to anyone attempting this in the future. The platinum is doable, but prepare to spend lots of time and effort, and expect moments of frustration on the way to success. Popular Post blu3st4rdust305
Count me in for this year as well. Last year I completed 14 UR games, netting 105 UR trophies. Base goal is to better both of those counts, stretch goal to increase that by about 50% to 20 games/150 trophies. I already completed my first UR: Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (3.48%) - 4 UR trophies - 100% I am not quite ready to commit to a Tier 1 list. I have another short term goal on my docket first.

Practice made perfect with the training gold medals, and persistence helped with some of the tougher campaign sub goals. I'm not a fan of online but thankfully only a couple of trophies that i could boost with my second console/acct, even if matchmaking was difficult at times as the game seems to still have plenty of players in Europe Had a look through my library and the PS Plus lists and made a mega list of UR completions to go for this year so i'm likely to keep juggling my Tiers with games in and out. Ive used the PS Plus effect to throw WWE2k22 into Tier 1 as i've always enjoyed the WWE games in the past ** Advice on how to make the image any bigger appreciated the hosting site i used says that is the maximum??
