I can relate to you about Ragnarok, it's a really good game but it's missing that something that makes a game great. For me, I think it is the combat - it just doesn't compare to original games, to this day I find myself hitting square and triangle when using the Blades of Chaos. I enjoyed the story and the excellent VO performances but this RPG style of God of War doesn't work that well for me. Not going to lie, I am a little jealous you'll be platinuming Killzone Mercenaries soon. It's the only Killzone platinum I don't have. Congrats on the future platinum! I believe only Tomb Raider has MP and Rise of the Tomb Raider has Coop. Shadow doesn't have any MP/ Coop but it does have the score attack and time challenges that Rise has though I can't recall if online is needed for those modes. A couple of shorter game sthis week, before making a start on platinum 300. Return of the Obra Din: This was recommended to me by a friend of mine, and I keep forgettign to pick it up whislt it was on sale, finally remembered this time around. this is well worht going into completely blind, its a fantastic puzzle experience. I AM Dead: This has intrigued me for a while, sicne it was shown during a state of play. Was haivng a look for soemthign to do for platinum 299 on psplus extra/premium, and discovered this was included. Well worht a go imo, quite a charming game. Crisis Core: Continuing my trend of milestone platinum's being Final Fantasy's, I made a start on this. I'm halfway through the main story, but there's ton's of side content to knock out too. Played the original on the psp, so qutie familier with the story, don't think I bothered with all the sdie missions previously though. For the week ahead, I'll be continuig with Crisis Core, and if I finish it this week, I'll be finally making a start on the AC: Valhalla DLC.

I was happy with just campaign. 4 I felt was too long and Crushing without tweaks was very difficult. Glad you got around to the series. U4 on Crushing has some difficult parts (Like chapter 13 and 14 [I gave up on going stealth through both chapters and just went berserk. Works and should take less tries then going stealth.] and chapter 17), but not so difficult as some parts in U1 where on Crushing and Brutal. Imo they turned down the difficulty from 1 to 2 to 3 and U4 has only some difficult chapters. Can`t speak for Lost Legacy (Will play it as part of the Legacy of Thieves collection) and Golden Abyss, but will definitely go for the 100% completion in these two games also. Will use the brutal difficulty run as an 100% unlocker, planed to have U1 PS4, U2 PS4, U3 PS4, Legacy of Thieves collection PS5 and Golden Abyss 100% in a row. Nice that you at least got the plats in U2 - U4. Heard from others years back that U2 MP and U3 MP was just a big grind. I also thought about playing U4 PS4 and Lost Legacy PS4, until I looked at the MP trophies for this DLC and said to myself "No". Quote I can relate to you about Ragnarok, it's a really good game but it's missing that something that makes a game great. For me, I think it is the combat - it just doesn't compare to original games, to this day I find myself hitting square and triangle when using the Blades of Chaos. I enjoyed the story and the excellent VO performances but this RPG style of God of War doesn't work that well for me. I'm sure that someone who hasn't played the God of War games before the 2018 installment, will definitely find God of War 2018 and Ragnarok better than those of us who already knew and loved the PS3 games. I find the compulsion to put everything in a hip action RPG guise that previously did work without it, just as bad as the trend of attaching an open world to everything. Like with Assassin's Creed: The open world aspect was okay with Origins, but from Odyssey to Valhalla it just got more and more overblown. If I could choose, I prefer less open world and more overhauled and optimized gameplay. Better make something fun that is working, then making something too big. Quote Not going to lie, I am a little jealous you'll be platinuming Killzone Mercenaries soon. It's the only Killzone platinum I don't have. Congrats on the future platinum! Thank you. You are missing a PS VITA, right? Feel sorry for you . Tbh, I wouldn't have started Killzone: Mercenary if it wasn't for the following factors at the time: 1) I was on vacation / 2) Had previously managed to get every multiplayer trophy in Killzone Shadow Fall, Killzone Shadow Fall Intercept, and RIGS / 3) Had 10 days left until the server shutdown. Then when I was done with Killzone: Mercenary multiplayer trophies I said to myself "You are total crazy". Quote I believe only Tomb Raider has MP and Rise of the Tomb Raider has Coop. Shadow doesn't have any MP/ Coop but it does have the score attack and time challenges that Rise has though I can't recall if online is needed for those modes. Thanks to you and @Hurricane_Tanya for bringing this to my attention. Also @Hurricane_Tanya: If you feel like starting MP in Watch Dogs 2, contact me please. This game and Watch Dogs: Legion are on my "Do the MP trophies" list. And good luck with Deus Ex Mankind Divided. Never had any interest in this game series myself. 4 hours ago, MrHealthy said: I keep a PSNP+ game list called 'Online Trophies' for this exact purpose. At least 135 games across PS3, PS4, PS5, VITA. Planned to make an "Online Trophies"-list next. My guess is, that it will be less then 50 online trophies across all games, not including FF XIV PS4 + PS5. Feared the MP trophies of ACE COMBAT 7: SKIES UNKNOWN, but since I was able to find out that you can boost the "Battle Royal"-style trophies with two players thanks to this topic, I feel very confident in starting this game. Popular Post Arophous
Seems I got the hang of Modern Warfare 2018 playing this week the campaign on veteran and blind, went back last couple of days and did trophy cleanup earning my 52nd platinum ?. Tight gunplay, still like a good FPS after all these years they never get boring… This week i’m away until Wed helping fit a kitchen so have to find some tv to watch instead. Once I return I would like to try and get that final DLC trophy before uninstalling this behemoth of a game, 160~ GB for campaign and spec ops packs! Already got one mission done with randoms yesterday. Then need to think what to play next… Final Fantasy XII is calling me, think I’m ready for something less ‘twitchy’ with a deeper story and I never got to playthrough this when originally released. Might pair with Borderlands 2 which I’m feeling excited to get back to again! ::: Week 0 2023 ::: Starting: 81% Goal: 90% Milestones: none ::: Week 1 2023 ::: Starting: 81% Current PGC: 82% +1% Milestones: none ::: Week 2 2023 ::: Starting: 82% Current PGC: 83.26% +1.26% Milestones: none Have a good week all, good to see early year progress!

Popular Post stuthesheep
Another week and some more layout tweaks. Still not settled on a final look yet and I realise this doesn't look great on mobile, but at the risk of sounding like my dad people spend too much time on phones anyway these days so I don't feel too bad about that. (although this actually looks much better than last week's tiny pic, so yay etc) This week Marvel's Spider-Man 62% -> 90% Continuing to tackle some of the unfinished and unplayed physical backlog by going back to Spiderman. New Game+ was completed on "Ultimate" difficulty, although the hardest part of the game was giving the side quests and optional content a miss this time - as much 'fun' as I had chasing those damned pigeons last time. Only took about 10 hours to get through the story, with the first two acts not giving me any trouble at all. Act 3 had some marginally trickier parts in places, but still managed to get through reasonably quickly with a slightly more strategic approach to fights than "Banzaiiiiiiiiiiiiiii". 2 of the 3 DLCs are also marked off, both also relatively simple - although some of the challenges took more than a couple of goes. My personal Spidey skills weren't particularly stealth focused, which made those ones in particular a bit more tricky than I'd like but got through them eventually - mainly thanks to the trophy requirements being slightly generous. The story part of DLC3 is also done, it was probably my favourite one as Silver Sable is awesome, but it was very much a "wait, is that it?" moment when I finished the last mission, seemed to take no time at all to get there. Enjoyable DLCs though, nothing earth-shatteringly different from the main game, but when the main game is that good that's not really an issue. So once the miscellaneous trophy cleanup of DLC3 is done - which should hopefully only take a couple of hours max - it'll probably be a return to FIFA17 to try and get the online trophies I stil need before the server shutdown next month. Not exactly one I'm looking forward to as my FIFA skills have always been somewhat lacking, so will probably be relying on the kindness of strangers to help get it done. The Fallout 4 DLCs are also on the horizon after that, after a glance at the trophy guide a couple of them look slightly meatier than the Spiderman ones so pushing them down the running order slightly. I didn't start anything new, I just finally popped the first trophy in Ratchet & Clank 2 - so the hit I should've taken last week just showed up a week late. I stuck with my plan this week and played the 3 games I had decided to focus on. Games I played: Ratchet & Clank 2: Going Commando (PS3) 0% --> 2% I've been playing this a little bit each night with my kids. I'm making my way through the story, but most of the trophies are for doing specific feats within each level. I'll probably come back through and do a bunch all at once. So the trophy count on this will likely stay low, then I'll I'll get most of them all in one or two sittings. Good game though, A big improvement so far on the first (I did very much enjoy the first too). I'm excited to continue the series and see how it evolves. Tooth and Tail (PS4) 46% --> 100% PLAT #106 FINISHED! (5 years, 1 month) I had put this game on my yearly goal list under "games that scared me" I was really nervous about how hard this game was going to be to attempt to finish off. It is one of my favorite games though, and I wanted the platinum for it. It turned out to be difficult, but not as bad as I was bracing myself for. The trophies are one of two categories. The first are for completing the heroic objectives in each of the game's campaign levels. Some of them are extremely difficult to pull off. I only had 3 left though and the first two came easy enough, but the objective on the final level took me hours and hours of attempts. After finishing that I just had the dreaded multiplayer trophies. There are trophies for reaching each rank in multiplayer, all the way to the top tier. There is also a trophy for winning 100 ranked matches. This game is completely dead. I've waited in a lobby searching for a game for several hours (at what should be peak gaming hours) with no luck on quite a few occasions. Finally, looking for advice I messaged some of the more recent people to complete this game through PSNP (which by recent I mean 9 months ago) and one of them was kind enough to message me back and fill me in on their self-boosting method that involved their main account and 2 dummy accounts. They also were kind enough to offer to help me boost. We got all of the trophies except for the 100 wins (got to around 75 wins) at which point our accounts became too far apart in ranks to be matched together. After that I figured out how to set up dummy accounts for myself and self boost between my PS4 and PS5 all the way to the platinum. Overall it only took 3-4 hours of boosting and wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I'm actually really glad that this happened because it forced me to figure out how to self-boost with alt accounts and that is something I never would've taken the time to figure out. I hadn't really looked into it before because for some reason I thought (incorrectly) that I would have to pay for PS Plus for my alt accounts. But with the plat 1 trophy away I was desperate and did some research. Now I can use this to help myself in future situations. This platinum also bagged me my most rare trophy on my profile (1.24%) which is a nice personal milestone to hit. I highly recommend Tooth and Tail to everyone. It is a really unknown gem of a game. It is super polished with fantastic pixel art, sound design, game design, extremely well balanced units and factions, and is just very enjoyable. Just be ready for some annoying boosting if you want the platinum. Look up a trailer on youtube and see if it looks like you might enjoy it. Returnal (PS5) 9% --> 13% After several weeks I have finally made progress. I am not very good at this game and I've had to practice quite a bit. I finally after many many runs managed to defeat the first boss. It's been slightly discouraging as I've spoken to many friends who got through the first 2-3 bosses in just their first 5 or so runs. It was getting a bit of a chore and I found myself avoiding playing this game with my inability to make progress when finally this week I had a breakthrough and got to the 2nd area. It's really reinvigorated me and I'm having a lot more fun playing now. Looking forward to making more progress. Games in progress that I didn't get to this week: Astroneer (PS4) (9%), Lucky's Tale (PSVR) (90%), It Takes Two (PS4) (31%), God of War (PS4) 1% I'm really happy with my progress this week finally making headway on Returnal and especially ecstatic to have the plat on Tooth and Tail. Don't really feel like immediately jumping into another playthrough, though, so 88% is where it'll have to stay for now. Hopefully it won't take me another nine years to go back and 100% it. Going to try and work on some of the single digit percentage games on my profile next week, starting with Joe Dever's Lone Wolf (5%). All those Uncharted games back to back will look nice! I actually have an update about U4 but that'll be in my post further down. And yes, looking at the MP trophies for U2&3 on PS3, the grind was real. Sony has some great exclusives but they need to start diversifying them more - same for Ubisoft their open world formula needs some new variables. Indeed, I am Vitaless. ? I have a PSTV but lack a Vita memory card so it has a mere gigabyte of space, less actually because of the OS. Maybe one day I'll get a card and some digital Vita games for it. Good hustle before the server closure. 18 hours ago, Arophous said: Then need to think what to play next… Final Fantasy XII is calling me, think I’m ready for something less ‘twitchy’ with a deeper story and I never got to playthrough this when originally released. Might pair with Borderlands 2 which I’m feeling excited to get back to again! FFXIII will be on my chopping block sometime this year as well. I finally got my PS3 in to a local electronics store for repair but New Vegas will probably be the first disc based game I go back to finish on it once repairs are finished. ____________________________________________ Here's me update for the past week. I started inFamous 2 and am doing a 1.5 playthrough following guides to avoid 2 full run-throughs. Last night I finished the game on Hard and the majority of the miscellaneous trophies and the Evil karma trophies. Today I started the .5 playthrough dropping down the difficulty to Easy and going for the Good trophies. Thankfully, some amazing person out there created a UGC (User Generated Content) mission that let's you get all 305 blast shards in a little over 5 minutes saving hours of my life and kept this to a largely enjoyable experience. Probably 75% done with this run and I might get the platinum tonight! In other news, after hours upon hours of grinding weapon levels and learning the needed tactics, I finally earned 3 ? on Crushing on all 10 stages of Uncharted 4 Survival! Psyche. What I actually did was sent a request to B29_HeaRTz for help with these 2 trophies. She graciously accepted and with the help of her friend CrimsonPapillon, the 3 of us faced down 50 waves of carnage. It took ~2 hours but we got all stages done in one attempt earlier this evening. We all had mics so we just chatted and had a good time of it. So @Geridian or anyone else whi wants to get the Survival trophies, I highly recommend you send B29 a message. They have a group chat and in the week I was part of it they had helped 3 or 4 people besides myself. Typically the runs started at 7:30pm UK time. All you need to do is show up, follow instructions, and actively participate (your level doesn't matter) or you will be kicked out and left up a creek without a paddle. So happy to have crossed this game off my list and so early in the year. ? This white whale has been slain! Edit: inFamous 2 platinum in the bag which means this week I had an increase to my overall percentage, yay! Popular Post J2VLegacy
Update: Current completion rate: 48.18% A bit down as I am doing the versus trophies for Resident Evil 5 on PS3. Have mostly played Persona 5. Definitely plan to finish it up this month. Hitman 1 & 2 is definitely something I plan to finish along with Rayman Legends this year.

RPGelement
Count me in. Currently at 38.60% Would love to be around 50% by the end of the year, which I think is doable. And possibly have about 50 platinum's and about the same completed games. And get to at least 50 ultra rare trophies. So a lot to do this year. Popular Post Baco_Lesss
UPDATE #2 Last week an increase of 0.33%. Started a few new games (A Plague Tale: Requiem and Crysis 2). Completed the DLC of AC: Origins and got the platinum for God of War: Ragnarok, Crysis Remastered and Biomutant. Made some progress on many different games and willing to continue this the upcoming week. Not intending to start any new games, but the focus is on completing my backlog games. Last but not least, currently at spot 1036th of the Country Rank (Netherlands). I'll hope in the next update I'm within the first 1000! Happy trophy hunting! ?
