Popular Post DJ__Beatroot
Progress Report: The Artful Escape. Recommended by some great people here on the forums. Didn't know what to expect but enjoyed it so much I went and replayed it on the PS5. The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. Nice game, but wish it was a bit longer. Because it looks like this game will be leaving this month I got off my butt and gave it a play. Goals: Non-Plat Game Another Community Event PS Plus Game (Catalogue) New Game added to Profile this month Goosebumps: The Game Reminded me of Day of the Tentacle which was a blast to play! Kinda did my own thing which means I ended up playing it 5 times, but the game isn't too long and thankfully, was enjoyable. The Sexy Brutale. Well, this game was a pisser! Took me 1 year and 4 months to complete it. Why? Because I started it and got so frustrated with trying to figure stuff out I went and played an easier game(s), well, quite a few times! But, I knew it was a great game, highly recommended by another poster in the forums (and in this thread), and I went back to it. Tried on my own to figure stuff out and finally peeked at @IBadDriverI great guides. Still, I highly recommend it to anyone for an enjoyable time! Goals: Story Mode For Game over 1 Year Unmechanical Extended. Just a fun, helluva 2D Platformer with Puzzles. GREAT. Telling Lies. Done. Game in one word: Forgettable. ? Great work nearly reaching your completion percentage goal already! I took a peek at your list and it looks like 4 games take the lion's share of your unearned trophies: TESO PS4 and PS5 (I feel your pain there), GTA5, and Zen Pinball. To make significant strides in increasing your completion percentage, a lot of work will be needed in these games. For ESO you can at least autopop trophies between versions, essentially doubling any progress made in them trophywise. Completing Senua would give a nice little boost but not too much. My plan to mainly play VR went out the window due to said surgeries so I haven't dug myself out of the hole yet that I put myself in when PSVR2 released. On to the games! Games I've been playing: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (PS5) 1% --> 42% I've spent the bulk of my time here. I now understand why this game has been so prevalent for so long. I love it and I've been obsessed. I decided to play a magic user build from the get-go. I'd envisioned blasting enemies into oblivion with fireballs and balls of lightning. Instead, what's evolved is I summon an elemental and a demon lord and let them fight while I backstab people while they're distracted. I'm having quite a bit a fun, but also wanting to try out a normal fighter build so I can use all the cool weapons I keep selling since I don't need them. I've advanced the main story about halfway through according to the story trophies, but I don't know if that translates to the actual game. I have completed the civil war story line, as well as the companions and the college of winterhold. Still have a ways to go I believe, but haven't gotten tired of it yet! Ape Escape (PS5) 8% --> 100% plat #114 completed! Finished this one. It was alright. Nothing super memorable either good or bad. Painless to complete. What the Bat? (PSVR2) 29% --> 100% (non-plat game) I finished this off just before my first surgery 2 weeks ago. It's a quick fun game with a bunch of silly mini-levels. Worth going through just to mess around in VR. Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate (PSVR2) 1% --> 9% Played this a little bit right before the first surgery also. It has what is turning out to be an interesting murder mystery storyline, and hints that it may open up to be more. I'd like to continue it, but haven't yet as I recovered from surgery only played what I could laying down. Moss: Book II (PSVR2) 2% --> 41% This was the VR game I actually got back to a couple days ago as I started to feel a lot better from my first surgery. So far it is quite an improvement on the first Moss game. (which I thoroughly enjoyed). It just adds a few new gameplay elements and is obviously a much prettier game in PSVR2. The story just did something super interesting and I'm excited to continue it. This second surgery is supposed to be a quicker recovery so hopefully I'll be able to get back to it in the next several days. What's Next? Most likely I will continue to be lost in Skyrim. Not much else planned beyond that. Have a good week everyone and happy gaming! Wishing you a quick recovery! Glad to see your enjoying Skyrim it really is a great game! Personally, I have 100% it on the PS3 and PS4 and plan to do the PS5 stack at some point as well. If I had the money, I'd probably go for the VR stack too. I just wish that mods could be used more freely in regards to earning trophies just to help keep things fresh. I do recommend you follow a guide for the daedric artifacts though, it's very easy to miss some and lock yourself out of the trophy for a playthrough. And while you're out there exploring, be sure you don't take an arrow to the knee.

Hah, I can see why you'd play Skyrim several times! I'm already mentally planning another playthrough at some point in the future trying out different play styles - there's so many I want to try! What have you played as? Also, I'd like to see what it's like to be an Imperial dog. (I was a true son of Skyrim and jointed the Stormcloaks =) I usually start sword and shield then morph into a battlemage - fireball in one hand sword, in the other. I've also done stealth archer ?/ dagger which can be super overpowered, two-handed warhammer which can be fun with enough stamina. Once you are high enough level and have the right enchantments you can do any build you want. I once enchanted armor for basically instantaneous mana regen, I was flinging fireballs left and right. I usually play human races and have played both sides of the civil war. There's just so much you can do, damn I really want to play it right now. ?

My original plan was to also play Swordsman VR this week, but it looks like the most recent patch may have broken trophies for it- played for a good few hours, then chekced the trophy list out of curiosity, and found there were several trophies which should have popped, but didn't. Will leave this alone for awhile, and come back to it if the trophies ever get fixed. Decided to go for Blood & Truth instead, a VR shooter which I've been meaning to get around to playing for qutie some time. Absolutely loved it, kind of reminded me off old school on rails shooters, like Virtua Cop or House of the Dead. I have 2 trophies remaining for this, both DLC ones. Beat the game on hard mode, which I don't see being too much of a problem, and Gunslinger, which is prooving to be an utter nightmare to do (It's a quick draw mini game, whichs requires you to manually draw the revolver if using PS Moves, then shoot a set amount of targets, with little to noe margin for error.). I plan to keep working towards these in the week ahead. Edited March 26, 2023 by Shadowlord87

Popular Post Arophous
Managed to squeeze some time in this week and with a little more focus I finally finished everything in God of War: Ragnarok, as a mini review it was a welcome addition to 2018 story and I felt it nicely tied up the Norse saga well. Hard to see where they go next though… combat was a little more complicated, I think the game suffered from a little too much menu time, which I also found juxtaposed to the whole ‘one-take’ storyline. Felt like I was stopping to change and inspect every 5 minutes. So this made platinum ? #54! I’m going to take a day or so break and work out whether I continue the playthrough of Final Fantasy XII TZA which I’m about 10 hours into, sounds like one of the shorter stories based on how long to beat. Also all the hype for Resi 4 remake, has got me thinking I should play Resident Evil 4 HD, which I have had for a couple of months after a silly sale price. Sounds like it doesn’t have many trophys either… just requires the usual multi playthroughs. So I end the week on another all time profile completion high of 83.90% ?. Hope everyone has a trophy filled week!! ::: Week 11 2023 ::: Original Starting 81% Last week: 83.08% Current PGC: 83.90% +0.82% Edited March 26, 2023 by Arophous
Popular Post stuthesheep
This Week Fallout 4 99% -> 100% Horizon Zero Dawn 97% -> 100% Rocket League 1% -> 15% Not the busiest week in terms of trophy numbers and percentage increase, however with two long-standing incomplete blotches on the profile finally ticked off it's probably among the most productive I've had. Plenty of time to focus on percentages down the line. Fallout 4 was probably among the grindiest things I've done, having to earn 100k arcade tickets with the games only paying out around 500 a pop if doing it legit. Luckily there are a couple of glitches to get around that, neither particuarly easy to execute but super effective. Once I nailed the timings it only took about 10 minutes to finish off the trophy and finally put this in the rear view mirror. All HZD needed was a NG Ultra Hard run, which I wasn't particularly looking forward to. It turned out, as promised, to be relatively straightforward once I worked out exactly what I could and couldn't get away with, with 96% of the game not posing any real trouble at all. Struggled in a couple of places thanks to a mix of overconfidence and incompetence, but a quick watch of a couple of YouTube videos sorted that out. Eventually. Could have maybe got through it a bit quicker, but ended up picking up some datapoints on the way to get a more detailed refresher of the story. Only had an hour or so at the end of the week, so went for some low-hanging fruit on my Trophy Advisor page and effortlessly knocked a decent number of Rocket League trophies, which definitely saved an embarrassingly low weekly update figure. Not a whole lot of time to look at the trophy list in any great detail, but it's a start at least. I might even actually drive against other cars in the near future rather than knocking a ball into an empty net over and over. Easy stuff. Any further progress in Rocket League can wait a couple of weeks though, as I'm going to be giving Horizon Forbidden West a blast first. Edit 2 - might have to deal with a potential unexpected issue completion-wise as my idiot son - who has just inherited my PS4 this weekend - clearly hasn't mastered how to create his own profile, which has meant I now have a newly started CoD game on mine. Hopefully he finishes it off on my profile as it's not a rabbit hole I particularly want to go down. Popular Post CptToffer
Hey all. First update of the year as I've been knee-deep in work and other projects. First platinum of the year occurred today and was the cheap and cheerful Milo Quest. Picked it up in a sale a couple of years ago and used it to entertain my daughter today. I think she enjoyed the colours more than the actual game. It was also my 2500 trophy and whilst I was slightly frustrated by that, it's a nice memory. Goes hand in hand in Untitled Goose Game which I've played to death with her. Only got two trophies to go on that but she's inly two and they're time related so probably will end up doing them solo. She also wanted to play Sonic Mania but I'm bloody awful at Sonic so played it on a guest profile. Got God of War Ragnarok to clean up and CATAN to play some more of. Currently though, I'm working on finishing Islanders which is a lovely little game and has been properly relaxing. I'm a little annoyed about the 2500 trophy being something cheap and easy but 'shrug' - I intend on playing games till I'm in the ground and it's going to be a small bump in the road in the grand scheme of things. I have no doubt my account will end up with some random stuff on it thanks to her. Hope everyone is well and having fun. Will try and be a little more regular on the updates now that D&D has finished for a while. .

Popular Post da-Noob123
This week was shaping up to be pretty meh but after Thursday I managed to save it. Monday or Tuesday I finished the portion of Little Big Planet I could stomach and then I watched Halloween 1-5, I should have stopped at 2. Suffice it say, I am off the horror high I had been riding since seeing Scream 6. That's also when I got back to gaming this week. Little Big Planet 11% > 34% I got all but 3 of the base game trophies that are still attainable and am content with that. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy 0% > 95% I started the prologue on Tuesday maybe but it went on the back burner for my Halloween binge. Came back to it Thursday and have been playing it almost non-stop. I loved it, great music and story - actually got the old waterworks going near the end. Had a couple bugs, several times I had to restart the last checkpoint because the interact button wouldn't appear but nothing beyond that. Combat was fun once I got used to it's fast pace though I still flub button presses. Got it down to 3 trophies, one miscellaneous combat trophy and the other is for getting all outfits, then the platinum is mine.
Popular Post Gumby114
Update 3 before the end of the month. Hogwarts Legacy Finished the story yesterday - was really impressed with the story and the last boss battle was pretty satisfying. I only have Revelio pages around Hogwarts, 15 trolls to kill and 3 brooms to purchase for the collectable trophy. A few clean up missions for side quests and then I need to start the story again to get the house related trophies. I am hopeful to have the plat by the end of the month, however I'm not confident. I am up 0.34% and happy with any improvement at this point. I feel like a broken record, but I am aiming to finish Elden Ring next month.

Now, it’s just the rest of the trophies on the road to platinum. Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror 100% A classic PSP game which I still have physically and playing it again with trophies was great. Battlefield: Bad Company 10% Server shutdown notice is now making this a top priority. Have until December to get it done. Made some good progress on the kills. Popular Post Redblaziken8
Week 12 Update: Starting PCG: 58.08% Current PCG: 61.22% Lord of the Rings: War in the North > 17% So I only made a slight increase in my PCG this week, due to starting Lord of the Rings: War in the North with @rjkclarke, I managed to pick up 9 trophies though and it's a fun game so far, reminds me of Dragon Age Origins but set in the LOTR universe. I'm playing as the ranger so far, and we have 3 playthroughs to do for the platinum and there's 3 different characters, a mage, a dwarf and a ranger, so I plan on playing a different one on each playthrough. The game follows events that happened at the same time as LOTR. So putting this game on my list is worth the hit in completion for sure, it was sitting at 61.42% until last night. Grand Theft Auto IV > 67% I finally managed to get the multiplayer done for this game so that's a relief! I'm really looking forward to starting the single player of this, but not so much all the stuff I have left on my old save file from 7 years ago for the 100% completion. It just involves doing pigeons, friend activities, stunt jumps - can't wait... I'm going to end this one on the speedrun trophy I think, but I'm looking forward to replaying this one and then getting to the DLC packs. Batman: Arkham Origins > 34% And as well as finishing up the GTA IV online, I managed to get the online trophies done for Arkham Origins in a week, that was a bit boring and I'll seriously be glad to spend this week playing single player. I managed to find a really great boosting group on PSNP to get these done when the servers came back up (again) on Tuesday and the trophies that required 8 people went incredibly smoothly. Now I just have the fun single player to go back to, which will be super nice. But for now I think I'm going to stick back with finishing God of War: Chains of Olympus as I'm really looking forward to getting back to some single player and playing this game again. After a week of boosting it's definitely needed. If I finish this one this week, I'll either play Titanfall 2 next, or go on to the next God of War game. Been wanting to play that game for a while. Good to know about the guide in case I get stuck.
Popular Post Static_Rook
Update 13. 3/27/2023 Starting PCG 57.68% Previous Week 58.47% Current PCG 58.55% Goal = 64% Games - Ape Academy 2 3/22/2023 Diablo 3 (PS3) 40% 43% Scarlet Nexus 32% 38% Various Daylife 7% 8% Another okay-ish week. Ape Academy 2 was a fun diversion, and an easy plat thanks to rewinding. I made a little more progress in Scarlet Nexus and Various Daylife, but then the Diablo 4 beta ate up my whole weekend. So now my goal is to get the platinum trophies for all three Diablo games on my account (D3 PS3, D3RoS, and D2R) before getting D4. No way I'll get that done before June, but I'm aiming for like September. We're 3 months in to the year and I haven't even hit a full 1% increase. So I've got to step up my backlog clearing game. Once I finish Scarlet Nexus I'm going to start digging into the many 5% and lower games on my trophy list. Working on those and the Diablos, plus throwing in an easy PS Plus plat here and there, should get me back on track before the halfway point. Here's hoping. Have a good week!

Popular Post Squirlruler
Update #12! Senran Kagura Estival Versus (39% -> 60%): Finished the main story and working on the 20 or so character side mission groups. Still enjoying this. Just playing through when I have time. Good fun(views)! Final Fantasy 7 Remake (74% -> 100%) [#150 platinum and 8k milestone]: Didn't end up having that much difficulty with the Pride and Joy gauntlet. Played with a guide and that made it fairly easy. Shiva was not a good fight. Those familiars were stupid and made the fight so boring. You basically can't kill her (or at least in my attempt) when she summons them. You can't target them and she will just immediately resummon them when they go away. After like 10 minutes of fighting her, I decided to cave and summon Ifrit. This killed her in literally 15 seconds. WHICH IS DUMB. I am fine with the summon killing her so quickly, but you should be able to (relatively) kill her without it! The different in how the fight went is just too great. Anyway. Time to do INTERmission. Final Fantasy 7 Remake: INTERmission (84% -> 84%) [#151]: So I wanted to play the DLC so I got a free PS5 plat, that is why I am counting the percentage from the plat pop as the starting point. Haven't gotten to play much, pretty excited to do Fort Condor minigame. Hopefully Weiss isn't too bad... We will find out! Dead Nation (92% -> 100%) [#152]: Did the final grind for this, after getting my milestones in order. Once again want to shout out @MrHealthy, his kill grind suggestion worked like a charm. Thanks for the advice and the co-op help! I absolutely love this game. I have the PS3 and PS4 version, if you want to do the co-op on either of those, hit me up, I want to do them! Other games that I used to pad stats for milestones: Red Bow, My Big Sister, Just Ignore Them (kinda sad there are no more Stranga games ), Code: Realize - Wintertide Miracles, Devious Dungeon. Very big numbers week, thanks to setting up my milestone. Was glad I was able to do it. Going to finish Senran and INTERmission. Not sure what I am going to play next. Dark Souls? Lollipop Chainsaw? FF13? Lastly, monthly updates will be happening this week! Saturday, before 8AM EST you will need to make sure your profile is updated as I will not be updating profiles!
