That...is quite hard to pass up. The Legion of Dawn Edition was on sale recently for $7.99, and something told me to pass on it to try and get the Physical copy with the Steel Book...just because. But can't really find it for something reasonable (reasonable as in, this game is THIS low, so I'm basically paying for the steel book). But I may have to say screw it, and just get this standard edition instead. 

 

At that price, I won't feel bad if the game really is hot garbage or not.

So much hate on this game but I found it to be quite fun. Suppose I'm part of the minority that actualy enjoyed the game and the road to Platinum considering about 95% of the game I played solo. What really did it for me though was the different classes. Especially the Storm class was it with the elements? It was just chaos and I love stuff like that where you're completely destroying the enemy. The traversal is also a lot of fun to play around with

Yeah, that plastic case can be sold for at least $4 dollars + $1 for the Bluray disk and as a bonus, you can use the boxart as emergency toilet paper, very worth much worth the investment.

Yeah, this game is cheap as balls, but if you look on PSPrices you'll see a whole slew of other games that are also cheap as balls, with the added benefit of some of them actually being worth playing.

Got the Legion of Dawn physical for $5 a while back. Loved it.

 

Actually a lot of fun. The problem was the lack of content. You'll want more but it's not there. Since this turned into a looter shooter at some point (Destiny), content would have been added down the line, if the sales were good.

 

I followed the Anthem 2.0 discussion and kept it installed in hopes it was approved to fix the loot pools and add content (the concept art was great). Unfortunately, it was denied and people were reassigned to other projects (like Dragon Age)

 

Definitely play it before they decide to turn off the servers. As always, don't listen to those who never touched it.

Uninformative comments aside, it’s a fairly sized game with a plat achievable by anyone (even by me 🫣). The story won’t expand your brain or anything but it is a serviceable diversion. Set aside a month if you plan to pursue this, just to allow for random days of EA server downtime.

Yes the game is unplayable.. if anything is wrong with your internet. Never mind how you can fly solo and yet you’re required to have persistent connection, that’s just the reality for this game.

I would not so boldly say that grinding for random rare gear on the highest difficulties is feasible for a single player in an expedient sense. I advise you to take advantage of whatever lingering activity by tagging along with random players running high difficulty missions so you can complete your gear collection (fortunately all gear drops can be picked up by each player) before this one goes down like every other EA game is going to.
