Popular Post MohandGamer7
Estimated trophy difficulty: 8/10 (for Havoc with bad RNG) 4/10 (for the rest of the trophies) Approximate amount of time to platinum: 200+ hours (can be less when doing the Havoc suicide method to complete 1000 matches) No known bugged trophies. Important notes you should know when starting the game: The servers are shutting down on March 19 2023 so you have to hurry up and start working on this game if want the platinum. The game is free and has 2 trophy lists (NA and EU). Trophies only unlock at the end of the match. Not a single trophy will pop up during the match so keep that in mind. Autopopping trophies: There is an auto-pop functionality since this is an online game and all of your stats are saved on the server. However, not every trophy will auto-pop. The Kill trophies and the havoc mode must be done again to unlock them. As for any other grindy trophy, doing the requirement one more time is enough to auto-pop the trophy. For example: Completing 1 match will unlock all trophies related to completing matches. Winning a match in TDM will unlock the trophy for winning 25 matches and so on. The game will fill the lobby with bots (smart bots) but unfortunately, kill trophies will not unlock when killing the bots which makes boosting a necessity to unlock these trophies since it's very hard to find real people most of the time. Boosting is also needed to complete 10 waves on havoc mode. This mode is a PVE where you team up with up to 4 players and survive against waves of incoming enemies. This mode will only start if there are 4 players in the squad. A discord group was created by @Prometheous101 to gather all fellow dreadnought hunters to make boosting easier. Feel free to join and ask any questions you might have. We'll be happy to help. There are 3 difficulties to choose from when starting a match (recruit, veteran, and legendary). You are required to play on all of them for 2 reasons. The first is that you'll earn a trophy for winning a match in the higher 2 difficulties. The second is that in order to unlock a tier 5 ship, you need to play on veteran so you can upgrade your tier 3 ship to tier 4, and then play on legendary to upgrade tier 4 to tier 5. Having a turbo controller is perfect for such a game. Set up the X and Circle buttons to constantly be clicked and you're good to go. The controller will keep searching for a quick match when in the main menu. It will activate the 2 modules set on the bottom right corner of the screen which will prevent the game from kicking you from inactivity. When the game is over, the circle and X buttons will also help you go back to the main menu to start the search again. When searching for a match while with a squad, you may encounter an error that says something similar to "Not all players have returned from the previous match". When this bug happens, let one member of the squad leave the group and rejoin (need an invite from someone). This should fix it but if it doesn't, let all members leave and form a new squad. Walkthrough: Aside from step 1, all the other steps can be done in any order you want and you don't strictly need to follow the exact order. Step 1: Complete the obligatory Tutorial and the proven ground match. The tutorial will take around 5 minutes to complete and will teach you the basics. You'll then have to start a match of "The Proven Ground" before you can access the whole playlist of modes. The proven ground mode is similar to team deathmatch but against AI enemies. Overall, this step will only take 15 minutes to complete. It should note that if you played well in this match, there is a high chance to get the MVP of the match which will unlock a trophy. Click on the "Your captain" option and customize your character for another trophy. Do the same for a ship you own by going to "Your Hangar" and customizing it. MVP Puttin' on the ritz Pimp your ride Step 2: Kill trophies Now that the tutorial is done, you can join other people and team up. The best approach to finishing and earning these trophies is to group up into 2 teams of 8 (4 players on each team) + an extra team of 2 then search for team elimination at the same time. This will ensure that there are no bots in the game so you can focus on doing the requirements. The downside of this is that it's not easy to find 10 players all online at the same time but don't worry, you can boost the majority of the trophies with a minimum of 2 players (1 on each team). Some trophies will require 3v3 teams like getting a triple kill in under 10 seconds. It's better if both teams are balanced in terms of the number of players in each team for better luck finding the opposing team. Trophies you can earn in this step and (minimum of players needed) Cold revenge (1vs1) weaken your enemy then launch missiles just when you're about to die and then let the enemy kill you. Your missiles should also kill the enemy after your death. Besties (2vs1) Mosquito Trap (1vs1) When playing in Team elimination, you can play as a jet fighter after your hero ship gets destroyed. Two birds one stone (1vs2) use goliath missiles or Nukes. These are too powerful and have large AOE. Using secondary weapons can work as well if they deal explosion damage. Ninja Skills (1vs3 although it's almost impossible to queue up together this way so it's better with 3vs3) Goliath Down! (1vs1) Hungry for more (1vs1) press right on D-pad to switch to the secondary weapon. Killer team (2vs1) He's dead, Jim! (2vs1) Let your teammate equip the drain missiles as a module and use it against an enemy when it's weak. Second Serving (1vs1) Vessel of Death (1vs1) Step 3: Havoc mode This is a PvE mode against waves of enemies with an increase in difficulty after each wave. Your goal is to clear 10 waves to unlock what's arguably considered the hardest trophy in the game and what makes it 8/10. For a start, it's recommended to have 3 dreadnought ships and 1 healer (tactical cruiser). This by far is the best combo we've seen from testing by the few players who got the trophy in the discord server. You'll want to play in the map called "Hekate" there is a camping spot toward the bottom left of where you spawn. This spot helps tremendously in keeping the healer safe from enemies and also protects the back of the team. You'll only need to worry about ships coming from either the left or right. This is basically the strategy you need for a successful run. However, RNG plays a big role here depending on what modifiers you get at the start of each wave. Some of these will make the wave extremely difficult such as: Not being able to heal even from the healer Can't move without thrusters especially when combined with the inability to recharge energy which is used to activate the thrusters Other modifiers are not bad or they can even make the wave easier such as: Health is double but can't regen health (you can still get healed from the healer) Recharge the energy bar when taking a hit. You can have an unlimited shield around you with this if you keep getting hit constantly. After completing wave 3, you'll have to choose a different but upgraded ship. Make sure you choose the correct type depending on what are you playing as (dreadnought or tactical cruiser). Wave 7 is considered a boss wave, and you'll focus should be on destroying the boss ship to end the wave quickly. Wave 8-10 are the true challenge of this mode. The game will throw as many ships at you with bad combinations sometimes to ensure you fail. One of the worst combinations you can see is 2 healers and a sniper ship. The healers can out-heal the damage you make to the ship. The team should focus on the same sniper ship (not the healers) while making use of damage boosts and modules. Wave 9 is when many destroyers will start ramming you and push you away. They will usually try to destroy the healer and will focus on him just like the enemy corvette ships. Protect the healer at all cost if you want a chance to survive. If you finished wave 9, then you have >90% chance of clearing wave 10 as it's way easier than waves 8 and 9. One other trophy you can earn is to clear one wave (wave 1 is your best option) in under 45 seconds. Which is enough time if everyone plays as the sniper class (artillery cruiser) and rushes toward the enemy spawn location. Don't look at the timer on the bottom left because it will count the time from before the start of the round. At the end of the round, you'll get a notification on screen with the time it took to clear the wave. Once cleared, kill yourself to finish the match and unlock the trophy. Trophies you can earn in this step: Cry Havoc Hasty Demise Chief Medical Officer. (Will unlock for the healer) Step 4: Wins in different modes + some miscellaneous You are required to win 25 matches in each of TDM, Team elimination, and Onslaught. Each mode has an additional trophy you can earn while playing it. In TDM mode, you need to kill 100 enemies. In Team elimination, you have to win 10 matches without dying. Finally, in Onslaught, you have to destroy 10 command ships. Step 5: The journey to 1000 completed matches. This is by far the most annoying trophy due to how grindy it is. There are 2 ways to approach this: Havoc suicide: Group up 4 players and start a havoc match. Everyone should choose the Corvette to quickly rush toward the enemies and die. You can complete around 20 matches per hour. Matches played in havoc mode are not tracked in the statistic menu but you can find it under the captain contract "Own The Skies" under the Progression menu. Playing matches on recruit while using a turbo controller and just leaving the game open for like 150+hours. While it's slower than havoc suicide, you don't have to play or do anything at least. It can also be used to grind matches when you don't have 4 players in the team. Don't forget to grind for tier 5 ships before you start exclusively working on the 1000 matches. You still need to play on veteran and legendary to upgrade your ships. After completing all these steps, you should have all trophies and the platinum trophy. If you made it this far, thank you for reading all this, and please let me know of anything I should add to this short guide. Sydoki
Does anyone know how/when the game places you in a match with bots? Sometimes the game would just start with me and bots only (tho after a 10m ish long queue) and other times it would just never happen until at least one other person would join the queue. Am I missing anything? Does searching in novice/veteran/legendary modes make any difference?Edit: Looks like there is no way to start a match with only boots and there needs to be at least two real players Edited January 4, 2023 by Sydoki

Popular Post TheYuriG
I'm gonna add some information here, for people just starting out, and then some other information for people who are already playing it. For the new players: Your currencies are separated by game version (aka early stacking works against you). This especially hindering if you don't manage your GP and see yourself still missing out on coins. Healers are incredibly overpowered and will render attacking their protected ships nearly useless. You will grow to hate those when playing solo. Corvettes are incredibly weak when you use them, but incredibly strong when the enemy AI use them. They only deal any damage from up close and, because they move so fast, you will have a hard time tracking and destroying them, despite their low health. Don't play this solo, bring a friend. Prometheus' server has a lot of new people coming in all the time. Get there, make partners, progress, and pop trophies. You will get a lot of wins while AFKing matches if you are not suiciding in Havoc. Don't fret over game mode wins unless you are 800+ matches deep. Idle early as much as you can. Feel like you gonna tackle this game at some point before the shutdown? Start AFKing matches right now, turbo and leave it going, you get an average of 100 completions per day, 0 effort. You can do this on PC with Remote Play and PS4Macro or on your phone with the Remote Play App and an auto-clicker app, look up whatever suits you best. For progressing players: You can get free GP by winning matches and redeeming the associated Progression challenge. You get +300GP at 50 wins (any mode) and +500GP at 100/250 wins (any mode). The best way to get a level 5 ship is to buy a hero lv2 ship (using 500 GP) and use it in Recruit. Hero ships don't get Ship EXP, but instead they only get free exp, which you can use to level any ship all the way to level 5. You can AFK your matches until you have enough Free EXP so you don't even need to play more than one Veteran/Legendary match per stack that way and you won't have to deal with the horrible queue times of the higher tier game modes. Turbo TDM is awful and has no trophies associated with it. If you get a match in that mode, quit it. It's not worth it. While it makes the healers less useful, it makes the Corvettes even more annoying to deal with. You can press triangle on a game mode to activate the blue lighting bolt that marks them as favorite. When a mode is marked as favorite, it will be favored when matchmaking so you will get more matches of that mode. This might cause issues with longer matchmaking times and sometimes you get into infinite matchmaking. I had this on and ended up matchmaking for 6h overnight, essentially wasting a whole night of progress. If you favorite a mode to get wins, make sure you can babysit the matchmaking every so many minutes. You should never be stuck in matchmaking in Recruit for longer than 10 minutes, ever. I've been told that if you restart your game before starting a longer idle session, the game won't get stuck into infinite matchmaking. I've been doing that ever since getting that advice and haven't gotten stuck in matchmake once since. True or not, it has been working for me and it's not much of a time loss if you quit the game at the end of a match instead of going back to the main menu. You can trade 100k coins for 500GP in the store, but you shouldn't need to if you are smart and only use your GP wisely (as suggested below). You can unlock a Hero Ship called Junkyard Prince randomly by playing Havoc. If you get this, you can skip buying a Hero Ship using your GP and use that to buy the Elite Pass instead. You can buy the Elite Pass for 1 week for 600GP or 2 weeks for 900GP. You get way more than enough to get 2 weeks and buy a Hero Ship for 500GP. But I don’t think I ever managed to match one on one with my alt, even though the game has practically no players.
jpwbjpwb
Gonna be that guy, but my group never had any issue matching up so long as it was for elimination. Generic quick play was harder, but all the stuff needed there could be done without any difficulty anyway.

It's def not that bad, but it really pisses me off when the game is basically dead but it creates 3 different lobbies when you search Edited February 19, 2023 by timpurnat
