Floral fallal get petrified by Chac on 80th floor?

I dont play ffx-2 for a long time after my psvita was broken. I will play it again because it is a free game on ps plus extra. I am watching walkthrough and want to ask a question about special dress sphere.

 

My friend told me that floral fallal will be instantly killed when Chac (the 80th boss of inferno) use petrify skill, then game over. But I recall my memory, all special dress sphere are invulnerable to petrification.

 

Can someone clarify which one is correct, i search wiki it is immune on petrification. Can I have image for petrification of floral fallal as I dont realize it, or other source of proof. Thanks.

Chac ignores immunity. It can always petrify. It's super annoying. I had more trouble with Chac than anything else because of it.

 

A normal Chac shouldn't use Stony Gaze when there's a single unit left. However, oversoul Chac does.
