colinyoomama
I usually breeze through games, even on higher difficulties. However im only playing on grim and im having so much trouble. I haven't swore so much at my tv since Uncharted 2 final boss on crushing (oh my). Anyways does anyone else think this game is super hard too!?!? BeautifulTorment
Nope, it is very simple once you understand how to deal with mobs and which weapons to use. Projectiles are your friend. Avoid flamethrower and molotovs though.
Rigix
Hint: Use Agility based Armor and fuly upgraded equipment. Running right on through each mission 10+ minutes under time for solo, the only struggle is survival parts that have a Slasher.
Parker
It can be a little overwhelming at first but once you get the hang of what is going on it gets easier. Have you ever played a twin stick shooter before? Parker

F22-Razgriz
Not really bro. At first, YES, it was HARD. But I've learned to master the so called.. PATIENCE and ANTICIPATION. Though a crowd of mobs will come hunt you, Look for those GAPs and HOLEs on their approach. 100% there is. Just don't panic! And YES, Upgrade the RIFLE ASAP! Followed by the SMG. Am currently playing @GRIM mode difficulty as well. Cheers! #goodvibes -Razgriz
xZoneHunter
I see alot of these comments saying dead nation is a super hard game. I don't get it. The game was pretty easy when i did it plat on ps3 ages ago. Just be wise how to use your equipement and you'll breeze through it without any probs. Great game nonethless tho! Will enjoy platting it again on my future ps4 ^^
Lady Blanc
This is what my armour set-up was, it might make things a little easier; Arms: Proto-Suit Legs: Proto-Suit Torso: ArmoShell Your agility will be rather high & your endurance is high enough too. As for weapons & tools, I think you should avoid upgrading these, as they are more or less useless; Shotgun Blade Cannon* Launcher* Flamethrower Shocker Molotov *= I'd recommend just upgrading 1 of them per playthrough, as they are the 2 most expensive to upgrade. I upgrade the Rifle & Grenades first, they will be very effective throughout the whole game, the Mine will be useful too.
colinyoomama
i think my problem was after fully upgrading my rifle, i dumped a lot of money into the sub machine gun terrible choice, shoulda went with the shotgun. AND THE OTHER THING IS THE CUTTERS I HATE EM

yellowwindow7
nope! maybe it's hard for you, the game is kinda soo easy to me, i plat and 100% the ps3 version already and i'll do the same on ps4 version when i get a ps4. - first thing to do is to upgrade your rifle and maxout the number of your flares, the flares will help distract the zombies.. just find an area with a lot's of zombies throw a flare or two to make them gather up on it and then melee them like a mad man <--- this also help with the 500 melee kill trophy. - never waste your money on the submachine gun, it's almost the weakest weapon in the game even after upgrading it to the max. - don't use the blade cannon on the Cutters and jumpers, only use it to clear any hoard of zombies coming toward you. - if fat zombies or soldier zombies start running toward you and you run away from them in a straight line they'll catch up with you easily, but believe it or not if you run in circle around them they will not gonna be able to reach you.. just watch out for other nearby zombies when doing this. - always try to kill the screamers first when you see them they're a bad news! the super fat exploder zombies can be tricked by dashing to the other side before they'll explode.
captainskyhawk
I only just recently completed thus on PS3. I was having real trouble until I changed the the fire button to R2. Made my game a lot easier to handle, still hard but def easier. Keep with it.
Lady Blanc
Blade Cannon is awesome, saves you tons of ammo when used properly My post says that it's pointless to upgrade both the Blade Cannon & Launcher in a single playthrough, not that the Blade Cannon is pointless entirely, it is a pain to aim without the laser sight though. I don't agree with you, upgrading the range and ammo capacity is very useful for both weapons. It depends on your preferred playstyle I guess
amebapiko
It is pretty tricky even on Grim. Having trouble in the last section of the last mission. My current tactic is using all fully upgraded flares, grenades etc
Mickzilla10
As with most games like these I get a co-op partner....don't know if my play-throughs were actually easier with him, but I didn't lose the will to live as much as I would have on solo.... The final bit of Highway to Hell is just painful >.<
MyLordD
The only problem i have with this game is the aiming. I started the game on grim because i wanted to unlock morbid difficulty. The game is a bit challenging, especially if you started the game on hard without no armor upgrade. With that a said. I saw a girl on you tube playing on morbid difficulty (solo) and hardly taking a scratch in which she destroy her health packs rather than using them. She makes it look like a walk in the park. (She's an awesome gamer). The main fact is that you have to know how to control the mob and knowing what weapons to use in every situation. Eventually the game will become easy. BEANO_BRFC
Platted it on all 3 systems, and would do it again if i could, loved it. Fully upgraded Blade Cutter and Shocker were great and an ammo saver and is a great help on the final part of Highway to Hell. Dont forget to use your rifles charge shot aswell, speeds up the process of killing normal zombies like soldier and runner types. Helps on boss types aswell if your low on ammo for your heavier weaponry.
