Nothing really. I just don't get very excited for games these days. I play them as they come, and I still enjoy them but I think I just got burned one too many times with hype and disappointment. Even sometimes having reasonable expectations or low expectations still ends in disappointment in this industry. I read people's lists and there's some things I want to play, but I'm not that excited about any of it.

Dead Space Remake

Hollow Knight: Silksong

Dead Island 2

Jedi Survivor

 

And replaying plenty of catalogued titles from previous years.

Resident Evil 4 is my number 1, already pre ordered a PS5 collector editon and digital version, and I also planned for 3 days off just for it lol.

 

Others: Spiderman 2, Fatal Frame 4 HD, Wo Long.

 

and Silent Hill 2 Remake maybe ....? I hope it able to release this year.

Resident Evil 4 Remake. Sincerely one of the games of my childhood and seeing a remake is amazing, considering the San Andreas "Remake" wasn't good.

I hope Microsoft shows something of Perfect Dark & Hellblade, considering this year could be the year for both of them.

 

Nothing more really since I don't have the PS5 (so no Final Fantasy :/). Hades 2 is too far away but in case of releasing next year, it would also top the list for me.

 

@Elvick_ I share that feeling. I guess it's the curse of having played too much.

Now that Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden have been ported to the PS4, I am looking at Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection. I've emulated these games on my computer in the past and really enjoyed the combat mechanics. I'd like to try to play them without relying on save states.

The closest two in terms of release date also happen to be the two games I'm looking forward to the most: Like a Dragon Ishin, and Resident Evil 4.

Seeing as I don't have a ps5 then all I can think of is Re4 remake, glad they're giving us it on PS4 now, no idea what else is even coming this year for older consoles.
