Ghost of Tsushima DLC?

Hi I recently got a PS5 and PSPremium was scrolling through the games and noticed the GOT Directors Edition. I completed the game on the PS4 ages ago and wanted to use this opportunity to get the Iki Island expansion done on the ps4 before transferring the data to the PS5 version however when I downloaded the PS4 version, i wasnt able to enter the dlc and havent been able to work it out since... does anyone know why/how to fix it? 

 

Am I being stupid and the dlc isnt available on the PS4 version thats available?

The dlc is not there. You need to upgrade it to director's cut. Which give you access to it.

So you pay for it on the ps4 version? cos its there on the ps5 version?

There one version now. If you buy the director's cut it gives both versions of it. I have a ps4 disk. But when I got the directors cut digital purchase for the dlc. It gave me the ps4 dlc and the ps5 version with everything. 

 

Honestly I know it sounds weird. They tryed to streamlined it as one thing to make it easier for users. But it just looks weird as directors cut were different before.  But they are the same thing now. They don't offer the dlc's individually. Just Dcut only.

 

Of course I could be wrong. But that how it was when I got it last year.
