rmhook Posted January 6, 2023 Share Posted January 6, 2023 (edited) In addition to the tips provided elsewhere (Northern Wind, weaken the target enemy with fists) - something I found that made a huge difference for me: The damage done by your puppet scales to your SWORDs. I spent hours struggling with puppets that only did tiny amounts of damage, but as soon as I equipped and held my sword (instead of just fists) the puppet suddenly did WAY more damage. I always cast Puppet while Geralt has his sword drawn (my game setting is to draw his sword automatically when battle starts) and the Puppet still does really poor damage. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But even after all that my puppet dies in one hit and barely does any damage.... Considering I used Axii heavily during the DM playthrou it's really frustrating. buttnutdude1 Posted January 14, 2023 Share Posted January 14, 2023 So I struggled with this alot and what finally worked for me was just finding a big group of wolves or dogs, there was around 10 of them and I would cast axii and back away and just keep casting.
