I wanted to ensure I could spend the time giving all of the guides the attention they deserve. First off, congratulations to all nominees! I feel quite privileged to be a part of this exclusive group for the first time, having received my first nomination in my second year of active guide writing (even though the time between writing my first guide and second guide was about 4 years ?). Sincere thanks to all that have spared or might spare a vote for my guide, especially when the available votes we have to spend are extremely limited. I really, really appreciate it! Last year was an amazing year for guide writing, and it really shines through not only in every nomination, but in every published guide that comes through the queue every day.
