While Syphon Filter 1 and 2 look and play like a high-budget 90s action movie, Syphon Filter 3 feels like a Direct-to-DVD sequel. Can see what you mean it is essentially just like a mission pack, definitely not as story heavy as the first two, but i would say this game is 100% essential for big Syphon Filter fans. It came at a time when the ps2 was really taking off so it was inevitably gonna have alot of gamers not care much at all for it. there are some different style levels to 2 definitely but the gameplay and features are mostly unchanged. probably wont play it twice either, i did the first one on both ps5 and ps4 but havent so far with 2, and probably wont with this, doesnt feel worth it given the age of the games. don't mind the odd brief retro fix here and there but don't want to take longer than necessary personally, and dont want to have too much copy and paste trophy stats! dukenukemserious Posted January 19, 2023 Share Posted January 19, 2023 I really liked the 'Run Logan Run' trophy from Syphon Filter 1 would have liked to something creative like that here, or honestly even just trophys for unlocking the multiplayer and minigame levels.
