Amazon has some in via 3rd party marketplace sellers but most of the retail copies are for the Switch release - there aren't many for the PS4 so Ebay might be your only option if Amazon sells out.

The House of the Dead: Remake Limidead Edition, which has already been released on Switch, confirms its release on PS4 and Xbox One this fall, with Meridiem Games.

 

The House of the Dead Remake was released last spring on Nintendo Switch. SEGA's classic rail shooter, which hit it in recreational games during the late 90s, completely remade, with new graphics, controls (by movement with the Joy-Con or with buttons if you play on Switch Lite) and multiplayer modes.

 

Originally, this remake developed by Megapixel and published by Forever Entertainment was announced as exclusive to Nintendo Switch, although PlayStation, Xbox and Steam also arrived shortly after in digital format.

 

Today, Meridiem Games has confirmed that the physical version, which was exclusive to Switch, will also be released on PS4 and Xbox One, under the name of The House of the Dead Remake Limidead Edition.

 

The "limimuerta" edition of The House of the Dead Remake, which will be released this fall (made by Microids, distributed in Spain by Meridiem Games) includes a copy of the game in physical format, an exclusive box with lenticular, two-character supports and a set of stickers.

 

This edition will arrive in most specialized stores, and will be the only physical edition of the game (there is no standard edition that comes only with the game). Remember that it is now available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and Steam in digital format.

This remake has a great facelift and everything has been recreated from scratch. It is even surprising that it is one of the few Switch games to have two graphics modes, favoring resolution and favoring performance, which moves at 60 fps playing on TV (on PS4 and Xbox One we should not have that problem).
 

Of course, nostalgia is not everything, and the controls, at least with the Switch Joy-Con, were somewhat imprecise. It is not the same as playing on the arcade furniture with light pistols (although it has normal controls). And remember, of course, that its development is the same as that of an arcade from 1996, and it barely lasts an hour.

This is gonna be one of those games that sell for $100 on ebay in a few months.
