There are some, but are mainly directed to 1 game. Like The title suggests, try giving information on games that have had their Servers Shut down over the past few years. Even Give a update on which servers are planned to be Shut Down in the near future. The purpose of this Thread is to warn or even help people who are planning to buy a Online game for the platinum. I know that some people don't like to play a game and later learn that the game is impossible to platinum. Not because of difficulty, but because of impossible access to the requirement. For instance, I made the very stupid mistake of not platinuming White Knight Chronicles 2 when the servers were up. But when i learned 2 months ago that the servers were shut down on June 18, 2013 the platinum has now become incredibly hard to get(it's still due able, but with lots of struggle). I know some people will say, "well just play the game for the enjoyment, and be done with it". But the thing is, some of us here have become trophy perfectionists over the years(even if we may not all admit it). It just bothers some of us to see that game list unfinished, and then get irritated that it wasn't because we lacked the skill to do it. But because we just couldn't. So just post which servers shut down or plan to go down with a deadline date. If you plan to "last chance" a platinum, you can link a topic or session in your post to the regarded game you are planning to last chance. This thread may help people avoid adding a fixed incomplete trophy list to their profile. Not all of us are fully informed on the games we play, so information regarding this topic could be critical to many others. DarknessKey92 Posted March 13, 2014 Author Share Posted March 13, 2014 Okay it took a while, but i have managed to put as many Shut Down titles as i could, I put the dates just as a reference(some may be wrong, but based on what i found i typed it on what others believed). I didn't put some titles, because some of them are unplatinumable because of glitches. "N/A" stands for "I Don't know". If you know the actual date to any "N/A" titles i listed, then please post the date(with the game of course) and I'll update as soon as i see it. You have 58/57 days left, that's enough time to get them. But since a lot of the MK Sessions don't always go as planned...who knows...I actually ended up doing all the Online trophies by myself. Except for the King of the Hill Trophies where I had to find a dedicated partner who shared the same amount of points as me. Seeing as how these games now have a deadline, people are right now more motivated to get them done. Putting them aside isn't an option anymore, so i would recommend making a gamming session with the first word saying "Servers will shut down soon" to attract attention. Also some are saying they might not shut them down, but it's best to assume they are to finally get it done, then to feel sorry when the day comes when they do shut down. Lost planet 3? What?? Some companies are trying to switch, but as Gamespy stated, all games hosted by their servers will be shut down permanently meaning LP3 will be caught by the deadline unless they decide to switch Server Providers. I'm just glad I only need to work on Need For Speed Hot Pursuit. Does anyone know if Crysis 3 will be affected?
