Hello Everyone,

 

We are back for a 3rd year. I apologize for not posting this event sooner but I got unexpectedly overwhelmed with various things right after the holidays and needed to take care of some irl stuff (work) first. Things have finally calmed down somewhat and I had the time to focus on this event again.

 

From the Feedback we got from all of you we decided to try out a year long event 2023. What this means is that no one needs to hold back their DLCs for the event anymore and can play through them whenever wanted. Some of us like to play them right after finishing the main game without breaking the flow of the gameplay or having to relearn controls, while others sometimes prefer to take a break from a game before diving back in for the 100% completion. This allows everyone to participate without really changing up playstyle. This could be the event for you if you are looking for that extra motivation to increase your completion and actually finish (100%) more games this year!

 

We will be tracking DLC completions just like last year so it should be familiar to those who are returning. For anyone new to this event, we will be tracking each DLC "pack" as a completion. Each one completed will add to your total that is tracked leaderboard style and the more you complete the higher you raise up the ranks towards being the .

 

That's the basics anyways. If there are any questions we didn't answer feel free to ask away.

Event Rules

 

Rule #1 - Each DLC trophy pack listed here at PSNP counts for one completion as long as final trophy is completed during event.

Rule #2 - Have fun and keep in mind that cheating will get you disqualified.

Rule #3 - DLC from 'games' deemed to be shovelware by PSNP and auto-pops will also not be counted in this event.

 

Example: Games with multiple DLC packs will count as multiple completions.  ex. Marvel's Spider-Man  has 4 DLC packs and completing them all will net you 4 completions!

We would like to have badges again but since we did this a bit spontaneous, we have not lined anything up solidly just yet. More info to come when there is some... Haha

Please post your completions in this thread if you want your totals to be updated regularly. We will try to do a main check at the end of each month and check/update everyone's progress but its much easier for us and more relatable for you if you post progress as you go. It's up to you but regular updates are encouraged as it makes this event more fun for everyone!

Good to see this official! (Although I have no plans to play DLC until late February thanks to P3P and P4G lol).

 

I'm also expecting some of you to get into the 200-300 DLC Pack range seeing how the last 3 months event ended 😆

Glad to join this event again. I didn't take part in the second event but I managed to win the first one so looking forward to competing again. Good luck to everyone.

I skipped the second one because I had too much going on and didn’t know if I would do any DLC packs (I did), but a year-long event could work. I won’t put down a big list but I do have Two Point Campus and Far Cry 5 NG+ packs planned (and got a few more in my wishlist in case they go on sale or have some spare moneys to spend).

I am obviously joining! I love seeing my games completed as close to 100% as possible, so naturally I will be aiming to do plenty of DLCs this year. The only plans I have so far is to attempt to clean up the few things that were left over from the 2022 event. Those are generally a little bit more annoying and time-consuming DLCs,  but I feel like I can manage them alright if I just sit down and focus. Otherwise, I'll just go with the flow and play whatever strikes my fancy. 

 

This year I have only finished one pack from Remnant: From the Ashes, and I am currently in the middle of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection, so expect Lost Legacy pack completed as well.

The Messenger - Picnic Panic

 

This was a free DLC. Suprisingly not just patched in though, you have to actually 'buy' it and download it. In terms of style its probably the nicest looking area of the game, but its enemies are mostly just varients of the base game enemies except more annoying. It's bosses are more tedious then fun, and its filled with way more tricky platforming then the base game.

I'd love to sign up @gruffiiti - great idea to run the event all year, that's going to be a lot of fun I reckon.

 

I was going to make some stupid arbitrary goal with myself to reach 98% completion this year.As I hit 97% last year, I might as well push for it - I think with this awesome event, that's actually likely to become more of a reality, as it turns out, close to 400 of my unearned trophies I think come from either DLC, or games I should still complete that have lots of DLC.

 

So I'm looking forward to getting nice and stuck in with this one, should be able to do some stuff simultaneously with other events too, which would be awesome!

Hell why not, I’ll sign up for this. I’ve got some DLC’s that I’ve been meaning to get to, but have been put on the back burner, and am pretty sure there’ll be more to come. Bonus points for the awesome event title btw 👌 Here’s what I’ve completed so far this year:

Both were great experiences and I loved reading some of the comedic dialogue choices, then watching my teammates’ weirded out responses to them. They were as hilarious as the ones shown in the main game. This game has, by far, been my longest to complete (3 years, 2 months) because it took me forever to buy the DLC. Glad to have this one done.

Its great to see so many returning to the event and welcome to the newcomers! Some really nice dlc completions done already in the first month of the year by some of you.

I was away this past weekend but hope to work on getting the tracker online soon so we can see where everyone sits at the moment.

It feels a bit cheap to say this... but i was away traveling and did find Sound Shape still not completed in my list, so i bought the dlcs for the game and finished the 11 stacks over the 3 days of my traveling in January.

 

At least one more 100% for my Profile. The dlcs where different that i thought (totally forgot about what the beat school even was). After some trial and error i did find the rhytm of the game and was able to finish some of those levels rather quick. For all who dont know about the dlcs, you get a beat you need to recreate and if you finish you get a trophy for it. It was nice to Do this during traveling since you are able to just play some levels in between but it wasnt really the most exciting thing i done in gaming.

January is done and I have only two DLC packs to show for it. 

 

 

Remnant from the Ashes: Subject 2923. A pretty straightforward story-based expansion that does rely on RNG spawns, but that is expected considering the nature of the base game. Played with @gruffiiti and @Spacey_Dweeb. That final boss was pretty fun (even if it had TWO damn phases)!

 

 

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection: The Lost Legacy. The last available Uncharted game I can plat. Went in straight on Crushing, which was an interesting experience, to say the least. But once Crushing was done, the rest of the trophies were pretty straight to the point. The Lost Legacy took me one weekend to run through from start to finish. I dreaded the  Best Driver in the Business trophy, but managed on my first run after figuring out the path. Definitely a bittersweet moment for me. Fingers crossed, there are some more Uncharted games in the future for me.
