WELL its been a long time since I earned any DLC (I'm easily distracted by shiny new games sue me) so here is my second and third entry for the event ?

Congrats to @wackt1 dethroning me! Here’s my latest update:

 

34) GTA IV - The Lost and Damned

 

I’ve been working on dropping my number of unearned trophies to under 1000 and getting my total completion percentage above 90%. I had popped one trophy in GTA IV back in 2015, and it sat as a stain on my completion percentage up until this month when I decided to finally mop up a bunch of the trophies. I don’t have the patience to go for the plat, but I’m glad I finally went through the main campaign.

 

Similar to AC Freedom Cry, scaling back the trophy grind for a smaller adventure made playing through the DLC quite a nice experience. I’m jumping into the Ballad of Gay Tony next, but I don’t think I want to focus on 100%ing that one. 
 

In other news, my wife and I are expecting our first child any day now. I anticipate that my gaming time will take a bit of a nosedive

1.) Killing Floor 2: Post launch content 3 (DLC 3), However i do believe the this particular pack is at least getting 2 more trophies this year (in Halloween and Christmas 2023). But I believe 2 of y'all said this will only count 1 time.

3.) Minecraft- set 2: Expansion pack 17 (DLC 4)

So i finished the Back to Job DLC of the Vacation simulator. A free dlc which was an update for the game. Nothing hard to achieve juat doing some small request of the guests on vacation Island. 

 

if you ever want to play this game. Be warned that you will hate building sand castles after the platinum and get some nightmares of it. It is such a hard task to Do and unnecessary difficult for a game like this. Without a guide it would take me freier to finish it. ?

Hey guys! Just wanted to do a small update of another DLC I completed on the previous week, which is Horizon Chase Turbo - Senna Forever. This DLC had way more playing time than I thought, which was nice.

The list keeps increasing slowly, but I'll activate the turbo mode in the near future ?

I managed to complete the Destiny The Taken King DLC today and finally achieve 100% in the game.  Starting to run a little low on DLC options now hehe.

Grid Legends - Classic Car-Nage

 

Demolition derby comes to Grid. 4 new tracks and 5 new cars for the new demolition derby mode. It was pretty fun overall. The story objectives were more interesting than the base game as sometimes you just needed to do certain amounts of damage, sometimes you needed to get airtime etc. The tracks are too similar though, so it does wear a little thin. And a couple of the trophies are unnecessarily grindy. Which seems to be a tradition in this game.

 

Grid Legends - Enduring Spirit

 

This was the least interesting of the bunch in my opinion. Adds one new track (and the same track in reverse), 4 new cars and the multi-class endurance mode. I didn't really find the endurance mode interesting to play. The story missions also seemed poorly designed in this DLC. They often didn't fit the theme of it and the story itself was completely uninteresting. Also more grindy trophies for no reason!

 

Grid Legends - Rise of Ravenwest

 

This was the best story wise. It has a fully fleshed out story detailing Ravenwests rise to its position in the Grid world. It does some really interesting stuff in the story levels, like the first few have a CRT filter as if you were watching old archive footage. And a mission where you break into a race that is just starting and changes to the UI to fit the era that the story events take place in. Still incredibly cheesy, but I am all for it. As for content, 4 new cars, a few new track layouts on miami, no new mode. This does not have any grindy trophies though. Instead it has some fairly difficult time trials. In particular the trophy 'Johnny would be pleased' gave me a ton of trouble, nearly 200 laps done before I got under the time needed. I imagine people who play racing games on the regular would not have much trouble with them.

 

Grid Legends - Grid Winter Bash

 

The worst story of the bunch, which just boils down to hey we are doing a winter tournament. That said I did appreciate the focus on snowy races, I find them very visually pleasing and fun to race in this game. It's also the most content lite of the 4. With only 3 new cars, and no new tracks or modes. It does allow you to play drift on Okutama point to point layouts, but that's not a new layout. Also has probably the hardest trophy in the game with the score 1,000,000 points on the Okutama Drift Full Route. Drifting in this game doesn't feel very intuitive and the Okutama full route has a lot of narrow straight sections you need to figure out how to get micro drifts on the keep your combo up. It was infuriatingly difficult.

Just thought I'd update with a few DLC packs I've completed since my last update:

Was nice to get the 100% on Resogun, the two previously unobtainable trophies being obtainable again pushed me to finally go back and finish it, it's a 100% I'm pretty proud of, it's not easy but the game is really fun. I like schmups a lot more than I thought I would, which I wouldn't have known if I hadn't revisited this one on my list. 

I've been getting back into COD MW3 on PS3 now my friend has bought the DLC. We're just grinding through the last bit of survival on the main game and at the same time we're getting to the DLC spec ops mission. The trophy Not On My Watch for saving all the hostages was a bit dicey, and took a few hours to do so I'm glad that one is done, but I did really enjoy it. The spec ops missions are great too, I wish there was more spec ops instead of just zombies in most COD games now, but I guess spec ops is just associated with the Modern Warfare games really.

 

I'm going to be finishing up that DLC over the next month or two, and I should be getting to some Rise of the Tomb Raider packs then also. See you in the next one ?.

New Game+ and "Ultra Hard" was not difficult at all.  I almost finished it in one sitting.  I probably would have if I didn't waste a bunch of time trying to hunt for crafting stuff to get the adept weapons.  Which I would say are not even worth it(cause I didn't actually get them).  There was a few missions that were tough but I managed to speed through pretty easily still.  Only side quest I did was to get Petra and the big cannon gun she unlocks in the final mission.  (At least I think thats required to get it, I didn't test it though.). I also highly recommend getting on a mount whenever possible cause the Dismount Strike skill is very good for clearing the small machines.
Definitely recommend going back and finishing it up if you get the chance!

@Maddilyn_Mars Thanks for the tips. Its almost been 5 years since I played it so I think Im due to get that off my list before the end of the year. I'll have to re-learn all the controls and attacks now of course but shouldn't take too many deaths to get it back (i hope).

@gruffiiti Also for loadout i had the 3 main bows for coverage and then I also used the upgraded fire weapon you get from Frozen Wilds!  Highly recommend those as it gives very good coverage and like the guide says fire is your best friend.  Hell, fire, lighting and freeze are very good
