Update so far, still doing Tales of Berseria, and have 41% completion hoping to be done by the 10th of April as it’s one of the longer Plats on my list

Mid-week Update:

 

Ah, finished Last Stop, which was a VN with a few puzzles.  Had a problem with the Baller trophy, but other than that, it was an interesting game whereas you decide the future/fate of 3 people who are someone interlinked.  Actually, a thought provoking game, and I enjoyed it.  No problems with the game and it had a chapter select at the end of the game. Nice!

Man I love this game, really captured the humor of the GotG crew. I especially loved the bitching and moaning from them when I paid my outstanding fine to Nova Corp.

Interesting little tower defence game with some brutal secondary goals but overall a great challenge.

Looking past the jank and annoying camera, there's a solid platformer adventure in there.

I'd say I'll be putting more time into this rather than FFXIV, but my FC is building Submarines and no one else is contributing materials. Might have to add another Vita game to the mix so I am doing something constructive while I wait for Unspoiled Mining Nodes to respawn.

Not much progress on my list as a baseball bat was taken to my mental health this week. Spent the week either looking at Save Room or staring at the wall with YouTube on in the background. Much love and respect to my partner for being there and pulling me out of my head.

And unrelated to the challenge, finally nabbed the platinum for AC2 on PS4, damn feathers.

I've reached a point in FF12 where the hunts are incredibly difficult and I can't yolo it like I did previously. So it's a tough time now.

Tempted to add another game, Life is Strange: True Colors - since it came out on PS Extra, but I think I'll be patient for now and try to complete what I already listed. Got a few long games coming up.

Update 3:

 

Thief

Completed the custom + master difficulty playthrough along with some miscellaneous trophies along the way which almost brought me up to 50% complete. I think I have 2 more playthroughs ahead of me. At the moment, I cranked the difficulty all the way back to Rogue (very easy difficulty) and i'm running a new playthrough collecting everything and completing all of the thieving challenges etc. Then after that I should only have the final run which requires me to complete the game in 15 hours or less, which seems pretty generous considering all you need is to mainline the story for it.

 

I'm actually having a blast with this - the atmosphere and world-building is really good for a game of it's age and it still holds up for me. It's not as versatile as it's predecessors, but it still feels like a good enough representation of what it's like to be a super-burglar. It's a huge shame we may never see another Thief game.

 

Powerwash Simulator

I don't think this is going to be up everyone's alley, but I love it. It's colourful, charming and surprisingly well written. For something that should be a standard cookie cutter simulator game, it actually has a surprising amount of depth and character. It's supremely satisfying to just wash grime off things. Sometimes you get contracted to clean a small dirt bike, other times you are hired to wash a huge house or a complex building interior. It's just great! It's surprisingly long in terms of hours to get the platinum and 100% the career mode. And it's just been a nice diversion from tense stealthy gameplay and space war shooters.

 

Destiny 2

I've hit a bit of a wall in this game. I'm not sure how realistic it's gonna be to hit the full 100% for this game within the challenge, but I think I should be able to do the platinum part. I didn't realise how little of a damn Bungie gave about supporting and updating the DLC trophies until very recently. I still absolutely love the game and will be playing this consistently throughout 2023 though.

Slowly making some progress but did manage to finally finish Glass Masquerade 2. It's a good little puzzle game but maybe there's a few too many puzzles and it just gets old. And the very last puzzle doesn't give you the edge pieces to start so that was annoying.

Finished Telling Lies.  All I can say is that it is a forgettable game. 😄

 

Was hoping to add Cat Quest II to the finished pile, but that game is kicking my butt.
