Trophy Thoughts?

Recommended Posts

Pretty standard some of them, getting all the liquids, owning all of the different power washers and thier attachments as well as getting the stars in career mode as each job as 5 stars from just doing the job 100%. any of the job specfic trophies shouldn't be too hard as even if you mess up a bit and fail the trophy you can do the level in free play once you finish it. Some of them can be time consuming on your own but will have to see how they do multiplayer in this game as on Steam it's friends only.

I've been looking forward to just playing this since it hit PC in early access. Did a quick scan and decided I'll just play and see what I get, then go back and clean it up... Hopefully without recalling too many of the "do X first" requirements... because I'm just genuinely more excited to play more than I am excited for trophies.

I would say, aim for the job specific ones right away, like the tree house one (as that's supposed to be a massive job to complete) as I read that the trophy/achievement won't unlock until you complete the job. So even if you do them lanterns first, you won't get the trophy until the job is actually completed (and as I've watched a video on the tree house level, yeah, it's a pretty massive job to complete).

Should be fun though. I mean watching people play it is one thing, but getting to play it myself is going to be a whole other story.

I've already 100% this on Xbox and the trophies are mainly map specific or soap/power wash trophies almost all miscellaneous but the trophies your going to need to look out for are the gold medal trophies they are kind of tough but I would recommend to do the longer time consuming ones and the time challenge like the houses not any cars or anything you'll need to get 5 should take a few hours

I've heard that the movement on consoles is pretty bad, especially using the washer itself. If anyone is playing, let us know if it's true.

Doesn't seem to be on EU stores yet annoyingly

Now that it's out, how is the movement? Any issues? Any downsides to playing solo when it comes to the trophies?

Movement, I find the character moves slower if you're aiming down, I guess it's for precision stuff, but it's still a bit annoying.

Other than that, nothing I've had trouble with (save for rolling that damn ball up the stegoslide, bleh, that was a pain to do).

No missables, right? This is the perfect chill/podcast game, so I would hate to have to follow a guide for missables while I play.

Edit: Answering my own question. Checked the achievement guide, no missables, but best to know the trophy requirements beforehand to avoid replaying levels.

Can anyone confirm that in Multiplayer only Player 1 gets the Trophies?

Yup. Me and my friend did several maps and only one trophy popped for us both (which was the 12 stepping stones trophy) but some other ones like Bungalow gutters only popped for him as host.
