Collectible Counter Buggy

Hey all,

It Seems that the collectible Counter is buggy and because of that it could be possible that the Collectors Edition Trophy is not achievable.

Does Someone else has that Problem?

You don't need all the chests (Big ones for example) thought about that too as I got the game last Friday. Check after u open the marked chests it should count, the rest is not needed.

IF your problem is with chests of course.

its strange i got 6 items in the last 10 Minutes  like merlins trials, breed animals or Revelio Pages and still  the counter in the Achievment is still the same Number like before. 

I looked it up and it seems many other Players have the Same prob. Strange, lets hope its only a display bug.

I confirm that the trophy of the collectibles is bug, because my tracking tells me that I have 109/603, and when I calculate in the game, I have almost 500…..

 

if I have to make a new game to validate it it could be quite annoying....

Mine did go all the way to 304, but hasn’t moved since then and I’m on close to 600.

Maybe a patch for Friday with luck!.

 

Hinsusta have you tried to see if a new game/all recovered again it unlocks the tracker ? 

 

If not it will be another game in the list of buggy trophy games =(.

It's not just the collectibles that are bugged.

I had the problem that my map was completely broken because the game no longer showed me

where to look for which collectibles. On top of that, after reinstalling the game, I no longer have any deluxe content. 
The rewards (even from the exclusive Hogsmeade quest) have been missing since.

I have the same map problems as you, I have areas where I'm missing collectibles, and I've used Revelio for hours in his areas without finding them.....

Feels like the vast majority of the time it's the collectible trophies that bug out. I'm not overly critical of devs making errors, it happens, but I do wonder what it is about collectible coding that causes such trouble for devs. Hopefully it'll get a patch fix and be cleaned up without having to restart, game looks absolutely excellent otherwise.

Looks like the best solution is to focus on other things like side quest until this problem fixed with update hopefully soon ...

How many hours did it take you in total, guessing you'd of got the platinum if it wasn't bugged

Yes, I would have reached platinum yesterday.

According to the in-game timer, my play time is 45 hours. I didn't skip a single dialogue.

That’s far from the 100 hour mark they stated.

I suggest people tweet @HogwartsLegacy if you have an account otherwise it could be a long wait for a fix since it’s rare that developers prioritize trophy bugs above any others.

I have this problem too with the map. I’m missing an infamous foe at the lake area and a revelio page in Hogwarts Valley, both refuse to show on the map after doing basically everything else.

Hopefully these issues will be fixed once the PS4 version comes out, else it sounds like I'm in for a rough ride if they're not .

Guys the trophy isn't bugged, there's actually over 1000 collectibles but the collection is different from things like merlin trials, demi guise statues etc. for the collection it goes up to 603 and thats for things like enemies, wands, brooms, appearances etc
