El-Sublime-
What about if Sony allows you to delete trophies on your account? Would you delete your incompleted games? Those 100% impossibles? Or just keep 'em all? I know that most of the players have an annoying PES, FIFA, NBA or any sports game that can't be completed because servers closed. In my case, i only have three games that i can't complete at 100%. Killzone 2 (VGC), GTA V (Run like the wind) and Gran Turismo 5 (circuit and photo share). I have GTA V near the 100% and i really think that Rockstar will fix it one day, so i would only erase the other two. By the way... do you think that this will be possible someday? Or the trophies will be earnables in the future (without being flagged)? I know what i said is crazy, but dreaming is free, you know... Popular Post DrBloodmoney
I suspect it won’t be made possible, due to the possibilities it would open to hackers - steal access to a profile and erase trophies etc. But you never know. as to whether I would want it.... ...I go back and forth on this. During my (admittedly, rarer and rarer as I get older) periods of trying to finish up old games, I do sometimes think “man, I wish I could just delete those Zen pinball trophies that I will never be able to finish” or “Damn, that forever-incomplete Dante’s Inferno list is a bummer” - I’d be lying if I said the thought didn’t sound appealing at times - but most of the time I just view my trophy list as a record of my exploits - some challenges never get done, and that’s cool - at least I know I tried. The thing is, in my heart of hearts, I know that actually achieving a 100% profile would not really make me feel good - it’s the pursuit that is fun, not the attaining. Having these games on my profile means it will never be a ‘perfect’ profile, but nothing is perfect in life - and it means I don’t have any evil little completion-pixies on my shoulder, telling me not to try a game that might be too tough to finish! To keep a 100% profile, if I somehow did achieve one, might actually affect my gaming habits in a negative way - i.e. discourage me from playing good games that I don’t expect to fully complete.... *casts a knowing side-eye at Wolfenstein The New Colossus*! I guess the way I look at it is - there is nobility in the pursuit of improvement, but the quest to maintain perfection is a road paved in madness! ?
Popular Post scuderia_tifosi
Never. Would keep them irrespective. However i did delete the 0 % ones.
Popular Post RedRodriguez87
We're dreaming the same dream, friend. I'd absolutely delete more than a few trophy lists off of my profile; to me, the ability to do so would completely change the way I game forever, in a GOOD way. When it comes to older systems, the lack of a checklist was a sort of freedom that I took for granted, 100% was often hidden deep away for only the truly dedicated to find. There was no checklist reminding you of all the ways you haven't played the game; you could just beat the last boss and move on or come back. So much so that I've invested alot of gaming time into emulators and the like. For better and worst, the trophy/achievement system completely changed the way I view modern day gaming. Enough that, like DrBloodmoney, I'm finding myself revisiting old games on my account/list I never cared for, but just want to finish so that it never becomes a bother again. But unlike DrBlood; there are even some games I avoid longer than I'd like to due to the fact that I don't have the time or patience for the trophy list. By having the option to delete any trophy, I could play/replay any game I want and not have to THINK about the platinum because hey, no trophy list anymore. I would love for it to happen, for my gaming habits to go back to normal, but I'm not holding breath at least until we see that rumored name change feature that keeps popping up. DaivRules
Nah, I wouldn’t delete anything. The few games I have with unobtainable trophies don’t bother me. I can still do 99.8% of the rest of the games since nothing on my list is heavy multiplayer. Plus, they’re just trophies. The number of PlayStation gamers who take them so seriously is minuscule, Sony isn’t going to ever bother with a Delete option for earned trophies. If they did, how would you know which trophy lists are completely artificial and which are genuine? Deleting earned trophies isn’t any better than CFW adding trophies. APCGrayLocked
yes, i would delete some lists, like Trine 2 so i can replay it on PS4 in his better version (and with a most difficult platinum). Or Duke Nukem Megaton Edition and Metal Slug 3, so i can buy the platinum versions of those one and do them. Or Sleeping Dogs on ps3, so i can buy and replay it on PS4 just for fun. Yes, i don't do multiple plats, so deleting the trophy lists in my case, it's just a matter of change a 100% list into a platinum list.

pinkrobot_pb
No, I would have no interest in that whatsoever. My trophy list acts as a gaming log more than anything. I also have no problem at all with buying a game second hand when I know the servers are closed, only to get the single player trophies.
I need more BIOSHOCK
Would be handy to have alright but still I'd never bother doing it. I've got rid of a few really shit 0% ones in the past but I really don't see the point in starting it with games that have progression on. At first it'll will be a case of deleting any with 1-5%. Then the fiendishness will set in, ah its 70% buts its shit I'll never bother going back to it..... Or that, yea fuck it delete, delete, delete..... By the time you done you've dropped down 10 levels lols
Zenpai
In a heartbeat. It's not that I would want to hide my "failures" or anything like that (I don't have all that many, anyway), but I would like my trophy list to only contain the games I actually enjoyed enough to keep in my collection, not to be an all-time personal gaming history record. Furthermore, my brother played a lot of games on my profile (even enough to get the Platinum on at least half of them) before we realized he could just have his own profile within the same console, so as it stands, my profile doesn't show my personal gaming history anyway. Basically, I would like the ability to treat trophy lists just the same as game saves. If I want them, I can keep them. If I don't, they go away. No skin off my back. (If Sony allowed you to hide trophies from even yourself, though, then I would be more than satisfied). MidnightDragon
There are two games I'd delete...but don't see it happening. I know, I could hide them, but I won't.
NanaCheese94
I made some bad purchases in the past, games where I am really bad and can't even get past the first Level. (Twin stick shooters....) So i'd definitely delete those so I'd never have to look at them again.
Satoshi Ookami
On one hand, I would like to delete games I didn't start, on the other, I almost completed a few of those so it could show me that I at least tried... Well, who am I kidding? I wouldn't because it would screw up my milestones.
mecharobot
I'd like to delete Shadow of Mordor PS3, since I don't even have the game, but I suppose I could also just hide it if I truly cared. I don't really like the idea, though. There is the leaderboard and levels to consider. Also it would completely migitate completion tracking since anyone could get 100% with a click of a button, making profiles about as much of a joke as Jak 2's platinum. captainskyhawk
I'm torn on the subject. I know I'm not good enough to ever complete GT5 and Wipeout on the PS3 and thus enabling me to get rid off the old thing, but I've put 100's of hours into them and wouldn't delete the lists anyway, even if I could. But 8DAYS, I'd delete the shit out of that list.

Popular Post Kittens Are Awesome
Nope. Never. It's a record of my gaming history from ps3 to the vita and finally the ps4, for good or for bad. There are a lot of things, in life even, I wish I could do differently, however, my past has made me who I am today. The same goes for my gaming past. I wouldn't want to erase any of that. Just now, Juzota said: I don't call myself trophy hunter. Who does? There are plenty on this site who do. I'm with you though. I'm a gamer. Not much of a trophy hunter really. Theyre a nice byproduct though.
CitizenElf
The only ones I would delete are games my old housemate played on my profile cause he was too lazy to make his own at the time. No way in hell am I ever picking up a UFC game, let alone one from nearly 10 years ago.
Yrva
I would feel very comfortable with an option to hide trophy lists, but I think I'd primarily use it for games that I am unable to finish up, whether it's because I don't have the game or the system anymore. I don't see much a point in deleting any trophy lists for games that I still have a chance of completing, because I've came back and finished some games after 5 years before.
