Do cheats  lock trophies and are there cheats which making platinum easier?

I don't know for certain but it says in-game that they disable rewards and high scores so I am assuming cheats also disable achievements.

Just used the rewind feature it's easy since most parts of the will become frustrated

Pause game and you can select rewind, same as other classics

You won't think that after you fail the annoying escort mission after the turret section that controls like complete arse.

I've 100% the game (all grade As and races) and I didn't feel the need. Except for the one or two lengthy missions, I don't see how this is not entirely cheesing the game.

Good for you mate. Judging from a lot of other reported experience including my own you're probably in the minority there.
