Avatar fights are stupid

Yes I know a bitching thread already, let me just start off by saying I love the game so far but damn these avatar battles 

 

Waiting 5 minutes to get put in a fight against someone 20-30 levels above you that is only winning because they have so much health is so frustrating and easily avoidable

 

allow any skills but limit the health for both fighters to match the lowest, I shouldn’t be taking 2 and a half bars of someone while I don’t even have a full bar and still losing, that doesn’t feel fun 

 

then again if I was max level and beating up level fives I’d probably love it

A fair fight in a fighting game? I don’t play that many but I thought that would be par for the course

Avatar battles you can see character levels. Try to stay similar level as yours and it should be fair. Also spend some time in WT and actually get some moves and Drive Gauge for your Avatar and it probably will be a bit more enjoyable. Worst case, you only need 20 wins. That's not asking much, for a fight scenario you don't like.

It's a fight based on your avatars strengths and how much you level them up. It's not my fault you are getting pub stomped by level 40s who spent time completing world tour. 
do what the above post says and you should be fine.

Yeah so I was pretty salty last night when I made this post, a few too many high level players using me for an easy win 

 

I do get the ultimate end game of avatar battles will be max level players mixing and matching skills and combos and fighting it out and that’ll be epic 

 

this post is another example of just switching off when you are getting annoying and don’t go online and complain

I think this is way better than the way Injustice 2 did it with their gear system. 

I'd rather have avatars be isolated than trying to compete with a broken system with main characters.

Yeah, I only faced ppl with 3 health bars so I will probably only play avatar fight again when I max my character, and probably everyone already doing this.
