WHAT a finale. I cannot believe he did it again. Congratulations @blu3st4rdust305 for winning season 35 of the Trophy Hunters League!  Also congratulations to @NuclearManager for putting an extremely impressive score on the board as well. Very well done indeed! Thank you both for an absolute treat of a finale. Now it's time for a well deserved rest.

That's another THL season wrapped up! Once again, huge congrats to @blu3st4rdust305 for winning yet another season. Also, congrats to blu3 and @NuclearManager for posting the highest scoring CWC Final of all-time . Overall, we had an extremely intense season with many exciting rivalries, numerous THL records being broken and just many high scores being posted across the board. I, for one, had a lot of fun this season and hopefully you all feel the same way. I want to thank you all for participating this season, also a big thanks as usual to @Psy-Tychist for his help keeping this running and a well-deserved shout-out to the brilliant @Froopy the Temmie for blessing us with the scoring bot . 

 

ETA for season 36 is late May. We'll keep you posted about that in due time. As it currently stands, it seems like everyone currently on the waiting list will most likely be able to participate next season. For anyone not on the waiting list yet, sign-ups for season 36 are open so feel free to join if you're interested!

My end of season post is to put up some nice stats of the season and some of the records made so far.

Big congratulations to @blu3st4rdust305 for smashing the league again (I will get you one of these days) and for @NuclearManager for putting up the best fight so far in the CWC.

Many props to @Lucas and to @Froopy the Temmie for making the THL sexy and fun again with all the great competitors and rivalries I hope to see continue through the seasons.

 

Some fun stats for everyone:

• NuclearManager has been UNBEATEN for all league matches faced, 14-0. This is the first time anyone has completed their first two seasons without a loss.
• blu3st4rdust305 has an incredible 88% win rate in the league and a 100% win rate in the SEVEN CWC's they have entered.
• Also, they are now 28 matches unbeaten in the league, the longest streak ever (I think).
• @Master_Mayhem_ and @Sebastian scored the highest combined matchup with 1860.1 points, each breaking the record set by blu3 earlier in the season with over 900 points each.
• @UGotHitByGunner has scored the THIRD highest total points using the new League scoring (starting in S24) behind blu3's 2339.4 and Andrea's 2208.6 with 2156.1.
• 166 Platinum trophies were earned during fixture, over 30 higher than the previous record.
• @Connie became the first achiever on the game Whiskey and Zombies, but set too fast a time and in this unusual event, scored no points.
• The top 10 scorers for the season had over 1000 points each, the first time that has happened in the league.
• Next season will be the first time that @Lucas will face off against myself and blu3.
• I scored the highest I have ever scored in a single fixture and as a total amount of points in my 19 seasons in the THL.

After last season, I had the sense I wanted to retire, now I am certain. Wanted to take it easy and did so until my match up against @Psy-Tychist. It turned up my competitive nature. Can't be helped, I guess. Once I secured that win, figured I would push thru to see if I could take the season and CWC. And here we are. Pretty much done playing games in a manner to match the meta game for the league. Want to go back to just playing for a while. I may come back if there is a special event for a season or if you guys need a mercenary to crush some souls for a fixture or two.

 

Thank you to the league runners current and prior, it has been a fun ride.

@UGotHitByGunner managed to get 3rd highest season score with only 7 fixtures counting. My count from Season 27 was across 9 fixtures. Good going, Gunner.

 

Closing stats for me: 9 seasons, 7 CWCs entered, 7 CWCs won (Seasons 27, 29, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35). Average total CWC score 816.9.

77-10 fixture record. Average season fixture score: 1529.4. 99 plats across all fixtures. Wish I kept track of the 10 opponents that bested me (hit list?). Pretty sure @Jello or @microsamm took the most fixtures off me.

I knew you mentioned before that you were looking in retiring from the league, but part of me was hoping that the allure of competing would keep you coming back and our rivalry can continue. 

Honestly, I did really enjoy our matches, even though you had the edge on me in nearly all of them. Now I have to find a new rival...
