I will say that when you "Melee" the creatures its very different then regular meleeing lol I'd say its still worth a pickup, especially if you plan on doing it with a friend. Serious Sam is always demanding the fast reactions and weapon switching only KB+M can give, unless of course you play on a mode below Normal. Plus, Playstation doesn't have Serious Sam: The First Encounter and The Second Encounter. I recommend you play through both if you haven't before picking up BFE.
