Tomoko Kuroki
I just played and platinumed dark souls 2, which was a serious joke, my first playthrough I had about 90 deaths and it was easy as balls... second playthrough I used a guide to rush platinum. I want to play demon souls, and I want to know if I can play one playthrough without consulting any form of guide, and then in ng+ and ng++ do everything I need to plat the game. The reason Im asking is because of this world / character tendencie thing I have no clue what it is. If I just worry about this and trophies on ng+, will it be much harder ? ( dark souls 2 ng and ng++ has barely any difference.)
Lion-Lhasa
You will need to plan out and think ahead for the tendency stuff, and it will take at least 2 playthroughs if I remember correctly. That is, if you do things legit and don't dupe items. Dying while alive will push the world toward black tendency, killing a boss will push it toward white tendency. Dying in soul form has no effect on tendency. Edit: I don't really know how much harder it gets on NG+, I don't think it's that much tbh. PREDRAG-K
It's not that much harder. I just recently beat Demon's Souls and started NG+. There is a noticeable difficulty spike, but not a huge one.
Goekie
90 deaths and easy as balls uhm okay technically NG+ is 40% harder so expect around 126 deaths if you keep this rate up
Tomoko Kuroki
for a first playthrough, 90 is nothing lmao, second playthrough I had 4 deaths. ng+ is insanely easy in darksouls2, third playthrough had to go to drangelic and I had 0 deaths Edited May 28, 2014 by Kumies
