Alex Mercer (Prototype series) - Having players unknowingly play the villian's origin story as the first game was nothing short of genius imo! 2. Ajora (Final Fantasy Tactics) - An anti-christ like figure who not only tricks an entire kingdom to cause enough massive bloodshed for its ressurection but also devises conspiracy so deep and complex that it makes the Divinci Code look like a children's book. 3. Henry Leland (Alpha Protocol) - Speaking of conspiracy theories, what this guy manages to pull off is simply horrifying. It really made me stop to think if something like this could or even already has happened already! 4. Sigma (Mega Man X series) - There are plenty of old school villians who refuse to die but there is just something special about this one. Every time they kill him off, he comes back in even a worse way than he was before (for the exception of X6). He kind of reminds me of Mercer where he actually becomes what intitially infected him. 5. Naughty Bear (Naughty Bear series) - Play the game. It's needless to say more... 6. Zero Jr (Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward) - Any time you're put in a deathtrap and get constantly trolled by a bunny rabbit, you pretty much know that it can't be anything but pure evil behind it all.
