Then we can see which ones use it most effectively. Any games you add, I'll edit into the primary list here. So, post any I've missed or correct any I might have wrong. StrickenBiged Posted June 19, 2014 Share Posted June 19, 2014 I think Assassins' Creed IV also used it to open and scroll the map. Killzone: Shadowfall used it to swap between the OWL's functions. So far, I don't think anyone has used it particularly well; everything seems to put touchpad functionality in where a context sensitive "action" button would do (e.g. Infamous: SS) or simply as a shortcut to a weapon wheel or menu (e.g. Killzone: Shadowfall). Oh, Rayman Legends used it to scrub those scratch cards. Actually, I do think that was a good use for it as the physical action imitated what was being done on screen, and it felt natural. Remember, I haven't played the games you're referencing. I've only played the games I listed. The best touchpad use for me was Stick it to the Man. Not really a fan of it. Seems awkward to get to in intense moments. Looking at you Killzone. Think I could get my OWL to do stun those guys with shields quick enough!? Erm. No. Course that's just me. Mastering it makes the game so much easier to deal with. I feel that this toggle between two different navigation types for an MMO is a pretty good example of touch pad use.
