Since no one was able to answer the questions ill say something

 

1. You cant reload or quit cause it will lose all the count compare to other trophies like head banger which all you have to do is reload.

Note: it can only count in the single chapter in which you will know if you gotten the requirements at the end of the level.

 

2. its best if you can shoot them to make it easier for the dog to kill making it count
