Resident Evil probably getting a TV series

8 posts in this topic

Apparently there’s a pitch, created by Shawn Lebert, going around for a Resident Evil TV series titled Arklay.  It even has a pitch reel, with scenes from other movies and television series to set the tone and emotion of the show.

For those unaware, Arklay is the name for the area outside of Raccoon City, Resident Evil’s original setting.  The Arklay mansion was used as a front for Arklay Laboratories, which resided in the Arklay Mountains.  Arklay Laboratories was of course managed by the Umbrella Corporation.

Thanks to Bloody Disgusting for getting the show’s official pitch synopsis:

“When Detective James Reinhardt is thrust into a series of bizarre homicides, he unravels the city is hiding a dark conspiracy. Learning a fatal virus is connected to it all, Reinhardt discovers it’s already coursing through him. With time no longer on his side, he must solve the conspiracy to save his own life.“

I watched the trailer... then it showed me a minecraft animation for frozen.

Still, seems like it'd be a good series if they did it...

Wouldn't be surprised if it got a TV series. First we get some nice remakes of 1 and 2. Then we get a TV series, then hopefully we get something like a new Resident Evil game? Just kidding, tomorrow they're going to announce Resident Evil Bedsheets.

Resident Evil Plushies, Resident Evil Pajamas,Resident Evil Stuffed Animals, Oh my the madness , the many resident evil merchandises *Faints*

If this series is going to be forgettable as the movies, they can take it back.

If this is happening I sure hope the series is more like the movies Damnation & Degeneration, not the Milla Jovovich movies. Let's wait and see,

It could actually be better than the movies, not needing such a high pace. Kinda like The Walking Dead.
