Popular Post Lars
#95: Riptide GP2 One of the famous games in the trophy hunting genre for being an easy platinum. Luckily for me, it was also an enjoyable game. Gameplay is quite good although the ice cave levels are annoying to get through. At first i didn't know how to do tricks so i was constantly looking for ways on why i was doing the same one all the time, after i found out the game became very easy. Although the freestyle events were tricky ( thanks for laughing) because your jump had to be perfect to line up for the next ramp, because most of them are very difficult when you miss one ramp. But happy to get a plat after almost a month of not getting one, now i'm going to finish off Funk of Titans, hope to have that done tonight already, then i go back to my PS3 and play Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishments Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8/10

dmsleight
Last night I got Claire Completionist. That is my 62 platinum. The game was just ok. I definitely overspent, even discounted. It has some things it did well. I had way more trouble on the butterflies than I should have. It took me an extra couple of days just to figure it out what I was doing wrong. I say hold off on this one till theres a good discount ($3 or less).

Popular Post JaM
#166 Gryphon Knight Epic Gryphon Knight Epic Collect all Trophies in Gryphon Knight Epic Got this game from the recent Flash Sale(the same flash sale that has the game that we should forget: FreezeMe). I haven't heard of this game before and what makes me decide to buy this game is the game title alone cause I believe that if a game title ends with "Epic", it is going to be an epic experience... And I was right. This game reminds me of old school Megaman(less the weakness stuffs cause Crossbusters Rules!) but a SHMUP with a tiny bit of touch of Dragon Fantasy Book's Humor. I had a blast playing the game from start to end, if it wasn't for a thing called sleep and work, I would have probably played and finished this game in 1 sitting... ok fine that is exaggeration... 1 day (cause of the needs called eat, drink and pee) - somehow makes me wished that I played this game before FreezeMe The Speed Run + No Upgrade Run was challenging but very satisfying when done and the grind is not that bad. Would definitely recommend to anyone that wants to have fun with SHMUP. Edited April 10, 2017 by JaM
Popular Post MStalker58
#141 Mass Effect 2 After taking a long break, I finally got the motivation to revisit the Mass Effect universe and get the plat for part two of the trilogy. This series remains in the "like it but don't love it" category for me. I know that I'm in the minority with that opinion but I just can't seem to enjoy these games as much as others. My favorite parts are the story, characters, dialogue, and just the general world building. However, the gameplay and combat aspects feel very average and prevent me from truly loving the series. Thankfully, there were some improvements in the sequel. Enemies didn't seem as bullet-spongey on Insanity this time around but fighting through wave after wave of enemies still felt like a never ending chore at times. I don't hate the combat or anything, just don't find it very exciting. Speaking of improvements, thank the heavens for no Mako driving sections. I hated that damn thing in the original Mass Effect. There was one awesome moment that I wanted to share. It came at the very end of my Insanity run. After spending about 20 minutes slowly chipping away the health of the final boss, I suddenly found myself being flanked by some Collectors. In a matter of seconds, they had shattered my shields and I was on the verge of death. No joke, both me and the boss had the smallest sliver of health possible so it was basically whoever got shot next would die. Unfortunately, I needed to reload and was swarmed by enemies. As a last ditch effort, I activated my Adrenaline Rush (which recharged just in the nick of time) and made a miraculous mad dash to some new cover. I didn't dare pop my head up until my shields had recharged, which felt like it took forever. Took a deep breath, reloaded my sniper rifle, took aim and delivered the killing blow to the boss thus earning the plat. On a side note, it took me 9 months and 2 weeks to finally get this plat (one of my longest times). Don't think I'll be making any "Fastest Achievers" leaderboards with that time.

Popular Post marvelboy10
#72: Jak and Daxter The Precursor Legacy (PS3) Top of the Heap You have mastered the game and collected all there is to collect! Well after playing and platinuming both the PS3 version and the Vita version. I can happily say without a doubt that the PS3 version is 2x better than the Vita version. I did not experience any glitch or input delay thankfully. The graphics were sharper and the controls were 2x better. It was also much faster to platinum because I memorized my route that I used for the Vita. I'm not going to say much about the game itself because I'll basically be repeating what I said for the Vita version. If you want an easy platinum or just a fun game to enjoy then I highly recommend getting the Jak and Daxter collection on the PS3. The Vita version is good too but you won't have the same experience as you would with the PS3 version. That's 2 plats down and 4 to go. Have a great day! Cuddlez90
My 10th platinum goes to the glorious Mr. Massagy game. Despite it being easy I had lots of fun playing it. All the conversation options available are great and I'll likely go back to playing this even after having completed it just because it's so ridiculous.

Popular Post FOOTBALLNUT
#80 Watch Dogs 100% Clear This is the platinum trophy and is unlocked automatically when all the trophies have been unlocked. Platinum on 9th April 2017 (3 months, 1 week, 3 days) **********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience********** How wish I have those smartphone that can control every electronic systems but on the other hand I'll be living in a dangerous lifestyle with this kind of devices in hand. Hmmm...well, games sometimes can make everyone fulfilling theirs dream and Watch Dogs really made my dream come true. The story and hero is something that can forgotten easily once completed the main campaign. For me the average story only get better and interesting is after Act 2 and I like the DLC characters more than the main cast, oh...I also care about ours hero young sister and his nephew more than ours Hero himself cause I find every unfortunate events is cause by the main character but I still had some soft spot on him in one of the cutscenes where he is sending his sister & nephew away. There is lot side mission to be done in WD open world Chicago but those were quite repetitive after awhile and I was almost get burnout by 46 fixer contracts. Not because it's hard it's was the driving mechanism that drag the fun down especially when driving is involved with timer. Watch Dogs may not be the best Ubisoft games I had even played but I still enjoy being a hacker in virtual world where everything is one button away from safety or chaos. Look like there a lot of good reviews from gaming forums for Watch Dogs 2 so I'm looking forward to play WD2 in future, cheers! Popular Post TBostonFC
#9: DOOM Thy Flesh Consumed Earned all Trophies. Rare - 15.22% Achieved: 4/10/17 (4 days, 2 hours) Honestly, this game was pretty fun. Never really got into the DOOM series before this game, but now I kind of want to get the other games and experience them. Difficulty wise, this was pretty freaking easy. I'd have to say the hardest trophy is A Toe Into Madness, but even that wasn't too bad. Only complaint about this game is the multiplayer. The multiplayer in this game feels unbalanced and quite dull. Thankfully the only multiplayer trophies are winning a game and getting to level 5. Other than that, I recommend this game to anyone thats either into FPS games or Sci-Fi games. Edited April 11, 2017 by TBostonFC

Popular Post Ala-Arska
Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom Saviour of The Lost Kingdom Obtain all Trophies Not often do I found a game that's first pretty cool, then kinda "meh", and in the end goddamn annoying. Yup, at first glance I thought "hey, sweet, colorful platforming and relaxing combat with different characters". No signs of rage then... After a while I noticed some weird hiccups with buttons. Hitting and jumping just stopped randomly. Okay, pressing HARDER now THEN, my characters started "teleporting" from solid ground to under it (and to death) a few times, and from level end to beginning. WTF?! And, in the final hours, glitches and button "comas" came to full life and showed me their big, fat middle finger. Me angry, me SMASH! If it weren't for all those f**k-ups in the game, I:TLK would've been above average to me. But, it's free, so you'll get what you pay for

Im not going to go in-depth about it here, but it was too mediocre and bland, even for an indie. Jak and Daxter and Banjo were unique and creative enough (especially JaD with the innovative use of story-telling and full open-world implementation), but this game wasn't really, even as an indie. It had a lot of platforming... but that's all I can really give it. It burrowed WAY too much from Mario, specifically Mario Sunshine, and too many things needed to be polished up. Overall, it was moreso very mediocre than it was necessarily bad. Its just a boring, unoriginal low budget Mario clone, but at least its not a glitchfess and have terrible framerate. Skylar and Plux: Adventure on Clover Island is a upcoming (this month) kickstarter and platformer inspired by R&C and JaD (seems to burrow just a bit more from R&C tho), and ill likely enjoy that more.
