Popular Post madbuk
#189 - Deponia Deponia Unlocked! This game was fun. Unlike Book of Unwritten Tales 2, I went straight into using a guide from the start of this and treated it like an interactive movie instead of a game. A lot of people would say that I did the game a disservice, but tbh I played around with all the dialogue choices that interested me, and did all the puzzles even when the guide I was using said to skip them, and it was enjoyable, so I don't really care. I was really surprised at how short it was after having just finished TBoUT2, which was extremely lengthy. It was actually rather disappointing how short it was, since the story and the characters were both good whereas in TBoUT2, only the characters really stood out to me as interesting. I hope we get the sequels eventually, although if they're all this short I'll definitely be waiting on a sale for them. This game and TBoUT2 have convinced me to give Day of the Tentacle a try even though the art style of that game had initially put me off. It's currently downloading, and I'm going into it expecting it not to be as good as Deponia/TBoUT2, so it should be fairly enjoyable.
Popular Post Terra
#60 - Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Difficulty: 7/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Completion Time: 2 years, 1 month One of my favorite games from one of my all time favorite game series, this certainly proved to be a hefty challenge. Why? The controls are clunky, unresponsive, and the interface is cumbersome. For this reason, It's hard for me to recommend this to anyone wanting to play this on the PS3, get the PC version instead. Besides that, the campaign was enjoyable with some great performances from George Takei and Tim Curry. Campaign got difficult at times but once I found the right strategy, it became easy. This is best done with co-op so find a friend and play through it that way because the A.I. isn't the brightest. While this isn't an official trophy milestone, I consider it to be. #61 - Galaga Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Completion Time: 3 days, 5 hours I've played Galaga for about fifteen years and I wasn't really that great at it, but it provided enjoyment in short bursts and it was addicting. I've played it on my GBA, PS2, and GCN before this and the highest round that I ever got was 24. Now that trophies are involved, I found that my nostalgia was being chipped away with each perfectionist trophy. If it wasn't for the save exploit, I probably would not have this platinum. You have to be precise and know where the enemy strikes. This also made me hate the game but now that the rage has died down, I find myself enjoying it again so much that I kept it installed on my PS4. Not terrible, but certainly a challenge. #62 - Deponia Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Completion Time: 2 hours, 32 minutes At first, I really didn't get into the story and considered skipping over stuff but after I started to see the humor in the story, I relaxed and enjoyed what the game had to offer. This is a simple point and click adventure but the characters and the setting really make it worthwhile to play. There are plenty of jokes throughout and the main character isn't really a "hero" but you still feel for him...well I did. There are sequels to this that haven't been put on the PS4 yet so I will be looking into them to see what more Deponia can bring. #63 - PAC-Man Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Completion Time: 1 day, 23 minutes I never was a PAC-Man fan growing up. I found myself easily frustrated at my incompetence for understanding how the game actually worked and often died in the first level. Times have changed since then. While not as rage inducing as Galaga, some of the trophies had me simmering (LOOKING AT YOU PICKY EATER). It's PAC-Man though so I don't have to describe the game because I'll assume everyone at least knows about it. It's not that easy of a platinum but it is a quick one. #64 - Last Rebellion Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 1/10 Completion Time: 10 hours, 13 seconds What a bad way to be re-introduced into a classic JRPG. Besides the nice artwork in the loading screens, nothing was memorable. The graphics made me think I was playing a PS2 game until I saw this came out in 2010, the battle system was confusing and repetitive, the voice acting was poorly executed with the most uninterested voices, and it's most cardinal sin was that once you know the combos, the game requires no effort to complete. I did have to restart once but after that, I progressed up to level 57 before fighting the last boss which made me pretty much a God. The optional bosses were annoying since they randomly spawned. I had to fight Prinny III four times before Prinny IV appeared. I ended up skipping the cutscenes halfway through the game just to get it over with. I heard this is not the easiest game to find physically but I don't think anyone should play this game and let it fall away from history.
Popular Post ratchetdude231
Platinum#15 Just Cause 3 Difficulty: 5/10 Fun: 7/10 Uh were to begin with this game. Well for starters the platinum for this game is pretty easy. It's incredibly time consuming, but easy nonetheless. Some of the challenges, and vehicles you need to collect are a pain, but outside of that everything else is pretty easy. I basically did all the side activities in the game first, and then did the story last and while it was a pain to go around the map (Since you don't unlock fast travel until you get to a certain point in the story) I think it's probably best to do it that way. I liberated the entire map first, then I went back and did challenges, collectibles, collecting vehicles etc. As far as the main story I honestly couldn't tell you a think about it as I skipped all the cutscenes just to get it over with. This isn't the kind of game I played for the story so I just skipped all the cutscenes. In regards to the game itself well it's actually pretty fun, but it does get pretty repetitive. What I will say though is if you are playing on a standard PS4 don't bother with this game. I bought this game mainly because I was curious to see if playing it on the Pro would alleviate some of the frame-rate issues. At the time boost mode wasn't available on the Pro and as with all none Pro supported titles at the time they played just as they did on a standard PS4 and needless to say the frame-rate for this game is awful on a standard PS4. Unfortunately the developer did an incredibly poor job when it comes to making sure the game has a stable frame-rate. I actually stopped playing this game at some point, simply because of the frame-rate issues. Once boost mode on PS4 Pro released I wanted to give the game another go and see if boost mode improved the frame-rate issues this game has and while there are still some frame-rate issues the game is a lot more playable now thanks to it. Overall it's certainly not a bad game, but the frame-rate issues do hurt the game a lot. This is actually one of the few games I wished I had played on a PC. Playing this game at 60 FPS is the ideal way to play it.

Popular Post flashpool23
Plat #57 - Assassin's Creed Unity By getting this platinum, I've apparently become a Master Assassin. I think I deserve that title after opening what seemed like over a hundred chests. In fact, that's the worst part of this game. The story is well written in my opinion, apart from a chapter that seemed to be tacked on just to add playtime to this game. The multiplayer was fine but maybe that's because I soloed most of it, except for "The Tournament" as that was near impossible to do alone. The side missions/Paris Stories were all fun as was the FREE DLC (which had the best weapon in the game btw). I actually have little complaints about this game which is surprising as it seemed to be unnecessary lengthy at times. Do I recommend it? Well, is the main character in this game's name Arno? Yes! Pershing24
#25 PlayStation All-Stars; Battle Royal You've Only Done Everything Else PlayStation All-Star...............................................................What can I say that hasn't been said about this shitty game. Well like most people my Brother and I were big fans of Super smash bros. on the Wii, so I bought this game so see how similar it was, since its clearly a rip off. However this game is nowhere as solid as smash bro, mainly because of the fact that you can't simply knock out players from the stage, and you can only beat them with a super move. This platinum was not as easy as I though, as there's a few multiplayer trophies, and you have to beat the campaign 20 time! And that final boss is so lame. Got most of the hard trophies with a boosting session, but it was difficult to get it arrange. Never the less, I'm glad I've finally got this platinum, I can't say its the worst game I've platinum through but its up there, and will never touch this game again. This is my eighth Platinum this year, and probably the last for the school year. Now it's time to go back to PS4 for the summer.
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #104 Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves [PS Vita] Master Thief Unlock all trophies for Sly Cooper's final outing. . . final? Really? Only took me three years to finally wrap it up on Vita. Dropped out at about 70% completion. Figured I should probably knock it off my Vita and free up the space. Took awhile before I got the hang of the game enough to do the challenges I had left. Not too bad though. Feels good to finally plat a game that's just been sitting there for years waiting. One challenge would always crash the game, but redownloading it fixed the issue entirely. Thankfully. Love the Sly games, this is the weakest one in my opinion. Now to finally get around to platinuming 4.
Popular Post marvelboy10
#74 Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham (Vita) Platinum Complete all other trophies That's right I yet again got a platinum from a DC game. (Bows head in shame) But I still have 1 plat more in Marvel games than I do DC games. Now first things first. Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham is not just Beyond Gotham but it's also beyond belief. This is one of the best Lego Vita games that I have ever played. Lego Marvel Avengers/Superheroes (Vita) are number 1, of course. Compared to Lego Batman 2 (Vita) it's a huge improvement. The graphics were top notch, the story was better and the controls were a little bit different but nothing major. I like how they used puns for the trophies titles. Like for ex. "DC-peasy', "Lex do this", and my personal favorite "You Gotham All" . I'm currently the 5th fastest achiever for the game. https://psnprofiles.com/100-club/3099-lego-batman-3-beyond-gotham. The top 4 look very suspicious. Well I guess it's safe to say that in space, no one can hear you earn trophies. Until next time, have a great day! Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#174 - Wanted: Weapons of Fate The movie is far more enjoyable. It's kind of a shame as it had potential to be a good game, but it just feels too unpolished. It has some interesting mechanics like the curving bullets, but the aiming for those is often all over the place. Speaking of aiming, that aim sensitivity is atrocious, I had it on max and still felt like slow motion. This game also having turret section don't help, especially as they're the worst I've ever seen in a game. Enjoyment: 5 Difficulty: 4

I remember reading multiple sources say it's simply not possible to input the exact combo you need to with a controller, so I never bothered even trying it. Congrats though, and I completely agree. I had fun with Catalyst, but the first game was a masterpiece and despite the fun I had in Catalyst I couldn't help but feel disappointed with it. Thanks The kickglitch is possible on console, but way harder to master than on PC and tbh I wasn't fully able to use it, I could pull one here and there, but just wasn't worth the time at least on ps3 ^^ Yea after seeing some gameplay videos and especially playing the closed beta it left me a bitter taste, but for 10 bucks I thought you can't go wrong with catalyst and by ignoring the first impressions I was still able to have fun with this like I said.. but the disappointment with the result is still there after the 2013 E3 announcement hype :/ Edited April 15, 2017 by PreLoki
Popular Post Strider-Falcon
Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag Prize, Plunder, and Adventure! Win every trophy. I have to give respect to the developers for putting so much work and research in bringing the story alive. Regarding this game, the story was really good and you can learn about real pirate history. Playing this game made me feel like researching wikipedia on Pirates and I even watch a documentary on Blackbeard. A few criticisms are, there is a bit of repetition in attacking ships, boarding ships and collecting materials to upgrade your own ship. Getting the platinum was not too difficult and I can't think of any trophies that gave me trouble even the online trophies were a piece of cake and I did them on my own. The DLC trophies for the 1st pack were easy as well and the only one that was difficult was the "Sacred Land", fortunately I used for the 1st time one of the boosting sessions set up from this website, which is fantastic, thanks to all those players that help me get this Sacred Land" trophy. Again the rest of the DLC trophies of the 1st pack I did on my own and were easy. The final DLC pack "Freedom Cry" was fun and easy but a bit short. This is the 2nd Assassin's Creed I've played after AC2 which I played a long time ago. I really enjoyed this game and can now understand the hype these games generate. It's franchise I would like to revisit once I've cleared my backlog of PS3 and PS4 games I've got already (and other system games like Wii/Wii U). I'll be definitely be playing another Assassin Creed game in future, maybe Rogue, Syndicate. Thumbs up from me.

Got the platinum a few days ago, my first platinum since Assassin's Creed II back in January (the PS4 version). I played all of the Assassin's Creed games and got the platinum in four of them, on my way to get the five others. Only decided to go for this platinum aftet the Ezio collection was announced - I ignored the platinum in all games with multiplayer before then. I actually liked upgrading the ship because the plundering was very fun and it was accompanied by diving in the shipwrecks, which was also fun. Only thing I didn't really like was the 100% synching of the main missions because some things were just so stupid - synchronisation used to be about how the characters really did it (like don't get seen etc) but many of the synchs in Black Flag are bogus like "while you are tailing that boat, go and skin an alligator". All in all, Black Flag is the best pirate game I ever played and one of the most fun games to get the platinum in.
